'Rise above, like an updraft.' Ok, that's a hella wholesome way to sign off.
Craziest weather I've experienced is just lots of rain and wind where my it feels like I'll get blown away, Mary Poppins style 😂

I spent Christmas with the family in Cape May, but in the morning afterward we learned of a snow storm approaching from the south. Some of the people in the B&B we were staying at decided to sit it out, but I figured we should get back home (in the north) before the storm arrived. We checked out quickly, loaded the car, and booked it back home. The entire way back, this giant black storm cloud followed us, blotting out the sky behind us. Flurries arose to remind us of the danger. We get back, get in the house, then get buried under three feet of snow.

Hah, I already knew about all of these weather types! They're all very cool! I guess I've been through a bunch of hurricanes. They're basically just a really big and windy thunderstorm unless you're really close to the coast. I've never had to deal with storm surges though. I haven't experienced a tornado within a hurricane, but I know they happen. I usually like to go outside during hurricanes since it's really cool to see. Sometimes little bits of hail come down, but that's pretty rare in my experience. I have also experienced proper hail on a trip to Texas once. It broke a few windshields. It is extremely loud, but usually doesn't get big enough to cause serious chances of injury.

@@fayedrosera A cool one could be green clouds. They occur when there are particularly massive storms and they often indicate coming hail and/or tornadoes. They're also green (or at least look like they are). Green is pretty cool.

The most dangerous weather i experienced was a massive hailstorm. Despite it happening in a june, it was so severe that the hailstones started stacking up next to my house, forming a sheet of snow multiple cm thick, then melted water from higher ground dug a river through the snow. There even was a small waterfall at one point. I remember running around the village helping people out, shovelling hailstones into wheelbarrows, and dumping them into the overflowing creek. It was intense.

One occurrence of crazy weather I remember is several winters ago when there was a really strong snowstorm. I looked out the window and saw a flash of lightning and then heard thunder! It happened several more times over the next few hours. It wasn't scary, I thought it was really cool! So that was my first experience with thunder snow!

Crazy weather experience - Several years back there was a wild ice storm that left our area looking like a crystal wonderland. It happened overnight and was loud as hell, heard many trees falling in the forest behind our house. Luckily we suffered no damage/injuries but that was probably the most extreme weather I've (indirectly) witnessed. The ice formations afterwards were quite beautiful in the sunlight. Low-key hoping to experience something like that again!
    Thanks for the lesson Faye.

Well my village did get hit by a flood cuz of heavy rain but my house didnt get flooded
Me and my dad went to one of his colleagues' house to help take out the mufmd inside, the water had come up to 1 meter all his stuff was ruined (the car too)
So that was years ago in the south of France and right now the north of France is being flooded in some areas and I cant imagine what it's like to lose everything
Also I heard all these nature catastrophes will occur more and more due to climate change (and the El Nino current or something idk) so yeah o7
