- The incredibly talented Kaki King performs a cover of The Smiths - 'Let Me Get What I Want' at The Knitting Factory, Brooklyn NY. Feb 9, 2010....and she dedicated the song to ME!!!! YAY!!!!! My daughters band SAFFIRE was also on the bill....what an honor!!!! Without question, one of the most enjoyable outtings in recent memory! Thanks Kaki!!!!!!! :-) You are such a sweetheart! :-)

+frogtown road Can confirm - I covered this tonight on my channel, and it took me a while to get my head around it. It's nice to hear the variation in the version Kaki did.
My only issue with it, is that it doesn't sound like it ended... then again the original was short. I 've always wished were longer anyway, though
