This was before Mutt Lange, the Producer (Shania Twain's then-husband), tightened up their sound and polished it up to get the sound they were looking for. Those records he produced for them sold millions.
Actually, this video came AFTER Mutt Lange and the making of High N Dry album. Pete Willis is obviously not in the band anymore as this video shows Phil Collen. This 1984 song is a re-mix from a 1981 B Side that didn't make the original album release.
@@thegorn68 Exactly! But, in 1984 it was a bonus track on a re-release of High n Dry. The re-release also included a re-recorded version of Bringing On The Heartbreak which included synthesizers, for which a video was also made which had Collen.
More please! Saw them in 2022, phenomenal, over 40,000 people. I think the video "women " off hysteria is great, as is "rocket " which is basically featuring many of the great artists of the 70's era, and early 80's, they are very heavily influenced by mott the Hoople, t-rex, bowie, queen ect, it's a really cool video. I could go on and on for ages, "foolin" "too late for love" ",rock of ages", a really good banger. I probably sound like a fan, which i am since 1981, seen them 23 times in 3 states, they always worth the road trip, they are legends for sure,45 years and over 100 million records sold. Great reaction, keep doing what you do, I'm hitting subscribe right now!
Back in the early days.....they certainly did live like that. Haha. I think Rick Allen was about 17 and most were either 20 or 21. I saw them a few times back in the early and mid 80s. Always a great show.
This is the Worst song on High and Dry,. Not even sure it's on the Normal Album,. Wasn't on the one I bought in 82' That SAID,.It's better than tons of other bands,,, But the rest of the album is CLASSIC~ This is more of a Jamm song~ A DRINKING SONG!~
High N Dry is my favorite Def Lep album as well. Rocking album from start to finish.
My favorite Def Leppard song!! High and Dry and early Def Leppard are awesome. So glad to see someone do a reaction to this song. 🙂

On their High N Dry record they have a number of references to "wine"
My fave fun DL video!
"Let It Go" is another great rocker off this album
Another Hit and Run is the best song though ~
Another great vid from early DL is Rock Brigade!
My theme song! 🍷😁
