The message to the new moms is so true. I had a million things for my daughter and she didn’t wear half of it bc she grew so much. Worry less new moms!
This little man has so many people that already love him. Obviously your whole family but also your RUclips family. Thank you for letting us be a part of everything. All I ever wanted was to have a family of my own but for many reasons I can't have children so I appreciate you sharing all of your children. I'm praying for all of you and I am really looking forward to meeting your little boy. Xx
@Amy Rivers I pray that God’s unwavering love continues to surround you. You are in His perfect will and I am certain He will bestow upon you a beautiful gift in whatever shape or form. God bless
Love the baby afghan your Mom made! It's beautiful! You look like you are truly ready. You have that "New Mom" glow! Thank God, the baby turned! Head down! 🙌 Yay!
Speak it!!! Nursing bras are essential!! I LIVED in camis the entire first year and the snugger the better. Feels so so good to have the extra support while everything is “moving back into place.”
I had everything ready in like month 5 EVERYTHING and out of maybe 50 things i only used 5😂 so your gonna be okey i you can feed, walk and change your baby everything els will work out
Pretty much if you have a car seat and a safe place for them to sleep plus a few sleepers, you’re good to go. Okay maybe not quite that small of a list but close, lol. Your DH can buy more sleepers and extra diapers later. 5x mama
One piece outfits and zip up sleepers will make your life so much easier. You don't need alot of things. My son is 19 months old and there is so much we didn't use but had because he was the first baby in my family in 14 years. I kept telling everyone I only needed diapers and wipes. We did use a bouncy seat it was $20 at Wal-Mart. My dad spent $150 on a swing that my son used less than 5 times.
You just doubled the space in your room to move around! Perfect for those middle of the night rocking/pacing sessions. I'd wait to paint. New paint throws off fumes that are NOT fun super pregnant or freshly postpartum. 😉
Constant sunlight falling down over you while snuggling baby in the bed is an incredible idea!!! Especially come time in winter!! Looks fantastic and so do you!!! You’re glowing, mama. 🥰❤️🥰❤️
I use to work at target. The tv’s that get put on clearance are because of things like opened box, or the person who returned it forgot a cord or remote that they simply just replace. Nothing wrong with them at all.
Sarah, you are just the Best! I will turn 70 this month so I am way done with my baby bearing years. But after our 2 bio kids were grown we started adopting at age 52. We still have 4 kids at home: Max 20, Jack 19, Hunter 18, and Claire 16. 2 are from China, one Cambodia, and one from Vietnam. I just love your family and your Vlogs! Thanks for sharing your family with us.
The little baby blankets and things are beautiful! I think the most important thing you have ready for the baby coming is the craft supplies for the little girls to do while you’re in the hospital. It helps make it a special time for them while you are away. Best wishes to you!
I’m so excited to meet this little man I first watched your birth story when you had Destiny and binged watched the rest and have never missed a vlog so to me this is like waiting and welcoming a new family member and as a mother of five your advice is spot on for new mothers
I am getting ready to have our 2nd in February. I bought so much stuff before baby #1, from $165 swings, $200 bassinets, way too much. I have learned they DO NOT need all that stuff. They need you, your arms, your milk/formula, and warmth. That's really it. I ended up returning our expensive bassinet because turns out- she hated that it glided. And the swing-- we ended up putting in the basement because it really took up way too much room and she just cried when in it. She just wanted to be in our arms. And I am so glad that was the case. Thanks for sharing this Sarah- and to any of the woman out there who feel overwhelmed, it's okay. And if you end up buying some expensive things- that's okay too!! Just save your receipts just in case :)
I recently found your account and love your family! I’ve spent the last week at home recovering from surgery and watching almost every video. They are all fantastic and I thank you for sharing with us all. As an only child, it’s a whole new world for me and your family has so much joy and love. I shed many tears watching NyaNya leave after her last long visit. She reminds me so much of my Mom Mom who went to be with the lord 6 years ago ❤️ I can’t wait for the new baby to arrive.
I am so excited to meet him!Prayers continue for a blessed, easy delivery.Sarah you are so beautiful, just glowing. And the room looks cozy and functional.I am happy you took the time to gift yourself and Solo a bedroom/desk area with that big television as well.About time Mommy! We tend to put ourselves last.Love, love, love you all.🙏❣️
It cracks me up how much baby stuff these new moms seem to think they just have to have. Then baby outgrows them in just a few weeks. Thinking back I wish I had had at least four to six tiny sleepers. I only had one. Due to complications I had both girls weeks early. Both came home at 4 pounds and 8 ounces. Everything was way big. Poor things swam in clothes for weeks. They fit in Cabbage Patch doll clothes for two weeks. At the time we had no washer at home. It was a mess. Looking forward to seeing your new baby soon. Good luck.
Kim Nisley I’m a new mom with a two month old now and you are right I think we over react to this moment and we get so much that we don’t even need. My son hasn’t even used his bassinet he just wanted to be close to mama
With my firstborn, I ran out in my last month and bought several newborn size sleepers, so afraid of not having enough. I had no washer either. However they were all given to my nephew who was 18 days older than my son. The newborn size curled my son's toes under. He was 10 lbs. 10 oz. and 24" long. Quite the surprise. My doctor joked that he would just let him walk upstairs to the nursery from the O.R.
We had our first while living in a smaller basement suite. Dd1 slept in a crib in the corner of the dining/living/kitchen space. She had laundry baskets under and beside her bed. We had a swing but otherwise that was it inside the space. The only thing I would have bought in hindsight was a change table but only because I had too much pain from my Csection to sit and change on our bed or the floor. My step MIL refurbished one for us a few weeks later. One piece of advice I was given was six items for baby clothes and three items once they’re potty trained. For our DDs, I liked having one place in the main swing to put baby down (in our house that was a swing and later a jumper/exersaucer) as well a baby pack. My Beco pack saved my bacon with many a cranky baby or toddler during meal prep time.
You are so classy! I love how you catch yourself when you say something and you realize quickly that you don't mean it in that way❤ I can relate when I do videos. "We needed a bigger TV in here ...I mean we would like to have a bigger TV" Keep up the great work Sarah
Sarah - I just love you. You have an energy that gives me peace. I’m so happy for you and Solo for this new baby. Thank you for taking us along for this journey.
Love the rearrangement of your room and the blanket your mama made, beautiful 😊 Praying for a safe and super quick birth. You are NEVER annoying! ❤️ Love from Texas 🇨🇱. 🙏
I havent had a girl in 12 years. So this video helps me feel excited about expecting. Been having a hard time lately to feel gratitude since I was in surgery and then caught the flu. So it's been a tought recovery. I have 9 weeks to go... your video brings me comfort and joy!
Love this! When my baby was born, I shopped at yard sales and second hand stores. She was born in Dec, and it’s cold in Michigan, so she wore blanket onesies day in and out for a couple of months. I had a bouncy seat and a borrowed bassinet. And a borrowed crib. New car seat. And that’s about all. Babies don’t need a lot of stuff.
Blessings and best of luck with your delivery. You are a sweet and beautiful mommy and your entire family is just as sweet and beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing. You remind me of myself in my child bearing years. My husband used to tell me that he loved swing my eyes light up whenever we walked into a baby store, while preparing for each of our children. I see that same sparkle in your eyes. I admire the size of your family as well. I am a mom of eight. If my 8th pregnancy hadn’t been so hard, I would have had more. Can’t wait for your new one to be here. Sending love and prayers to all of you ♥️♥️♥️ !!!
After ten years of fostering, I agree. Less is less stressful. Two bottles so I don’t feel like I am constantly washing bottles, enough clothes for four-five days and a bassinet and portable crib. But there are never too many diapers!
Dont listen about being out of breath ! You are growing a person !!! And your lungs are probably squished !! I had a hard time breathing too in the last weeks
I was breathing like that most of every pregnancy. Since I am 5’, there is not much room for deep breaths and growing baby too much after the first trimester.
Sarah, I just love you. You have such a loving attitude about family and life. I pray your baby decides to come early instead of late. That you go into labor naturally and it's an easy fast delivery for you. My induced labor's were very long. My first was 27 hours. My second was 33 hours. Absolute agony. You are so lucky yours are fast. With my last baby 44 years ago I got an epidural and it was wonderful. My fastest labor from start to finish was 9 hours. I'm just not built to give birth. Lol. God bless you and your family. Praying for fast and healthy. Much love.
My season of babies is over one and done but i love watching other people's babies and all the new things that keep coming out my great niece loves those animal suckers
You are all such a breath of fresh air. I'm so sick of trying out new channels and finding wasteful parents with cotton wool between their ears. You just seem like such a lovely, kind, down to earth family with strong values. All the best with baby boy 🥰💙
Sarah you are such a lovely person. Your advice for new mums is so sound. (I'm a nana of 7, so blessed and proud to be so) I admire you greatly and your children are a credit to you and your wonderful husband. I pray blessings for all of you and yours and for all the viewers and theirs. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful family and experience with us all.
Yeah! I'm on baby #7 myself! My favorite baby carrier/ wrap are the baby K-Tan! No buckles, locks, or extra fabric. And you can get them off and on quickly! Here's to us large family moms! 😘
How is it possible that you get more beautiful with each passing day?! I was a hot mess with my 4th I felt like shrek 🤣 anyway thanks for sharing and praying for this baby’s birth to go smoothly.
Sarah, my sister and I, love watching you and your family. We are two old ladies who enjoy the kids and all the things your family does. By the looks of your belly, I'm going to say it will be at least 9 lbs. My sister is saying, 8lbs 10 oz. God Bless you and your family. Can't wait for the baby to come!
We had those half-round windows in our last house, it was so expensive to buy curtains for them. So my mom just took PVC pipe and bent it into the arch shape (she used heat by filling a tub with hot water and slowly bent it into place. A hot sunny day might work too) then sewed half circles of fabric and slipped them on. Once it's up in the window it looks just as nice as store bought stuff!
I’m having number 9 and I so agree! I am so minimal now for babies! We have a lot in common! Prayers for a safe and happy delivery! Your bedroom looks nice and simple and pretty!
Omg, our new baby will be here very soon, I can’t wait to see him. I think you being out of breath is fine because if it was me on every video you would see me in bed sleep. But you are so strong and still taking care of the rest of the family. I’m so happy for you all and may God continue to bless you all. Carrie
I loved this video. It brought back so many memories for me. My baby just turned 1 year last week Tuesday. Packing my hospital bag gave me so much excitement. I had clothes that she didn’t get a chance to wear as much and the next moment I tried dressing her into the sleeper or outfit she couldn’t fit them. If it’s God’s will prayerfully I’ll have another daughter and will pass on the clothes to her. Praying for you to have a smooth labor and delivery. God bless ♥️
👍👍👍 OK.....I may have had my kids a very long time ago BUT everything you said here is PERFECTLY stated. A changing table was a dresser top to save the back......back then they weren’t stable enough. And the bassinet was an antique that still lives on today. And the crib too. Had a few special clothes for outings but mainly kept it simple cus of so many changes in a day. Blankets in excess maybe but all of them used to lay baby on. So yes you have just what ya need cus people always love to give gifts 🎁. You are truly sensible and when ya need to stretch a dollar ...... you are doing GREAT. Oh yes I DO remember being breathless and that was the hardest. AND finding the PERFECT nursing bra too !!! Great tip on TV. Hope new moms to be takes this video to heart cus really nailed it on advice. Hope baby 👶 comes soon and all goes well ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I so very much agree with you that we should not over buy silly things for a new baby! I am a RN as you are so I made these choices thoughtfully. The stores are full of things that are not needed but are marketed so that mothers feel they need them. The more simple, the better. I have four grown children and just had the minimum of what we needed and that is how I wanted it! As an example, I bathed them on the kitchen table with a plastic dish tub as newborns then in the sink when they were older then in the bathtub when old enough. They didn’t need the expensive, intricate ones marketed for new babies. I used cloth diapers as much as possible because they were SOFT and I loved that. I made my own baby food when I could. My babies were breastfed and cuddled and slept in our room in their cribs and were rocked to sleep and loved completely. All very simply and lovingly. They have all grown up to be exceptional, gifted and amazing people. I’m so proud of them. I loved being a new mom and I will always love being their Mom.
You are absolutely gorgeous. So excited for your family. You truly give the best advice. The Afghan that your mom made is beautiful & looks so soft. Ty for sharing. You actually look like you may have dropped a little. Take good care.
You are glowing! Can't wait to hear your baby #10 birth story. The more kids I had the less we had too. Take care and bless your growing family. Happy birthing
Hi from Colorado. Sarah, I am so very happy that your new, sweet baby boy will soon be here. It just seems like yesterday that I was getting ready for my baby boy to arrive. He turned 18 in August! God bless.
I thought little man had arrived until I read again. I'm excited Sarah and I can tell from your voice you are. His little pieces of clothing are so sweet. I won't be having anymore children but this vlog was great for moms to be. I think you covered a lot of questions that they might have. Take care. You are almost there. Love and blessings..... P.S. Your room looks really pretty. Love the flowers. They will be nice hanging above your desk.
Great look to the bedroom....still busy Sarah even though you are about to have another baby....make time for yourself and chill out, plenty of rest xxxx
We were told that the baby was huge and I bought 0 to 3 months and bigger. Ummm... She was big but was still in newborn every thing for awhile... I had so many clothes and I realized it was easier to use the same outfits over and over and I had favorites I loved for her to wear.
Don't ever say your annoying because your so graceful, grateful, humble, very excited to see baby boy arrive..he will be surrounded by so much love(he already is ..came from seeing 3babies born on RUclips and it's soo emotional and fun to watch..Hope your resting when you can ❣️🙏🏻😘..don't forget hair ties?!
I lived in Canada when I had most of my babies and the first one I literally had to beg to go home at 9 days. It was so nice because they taught us so much. How to bath a baby, exersizing, and so many things.
I love the baby prep time at the end of pregnancy. I’m a mama to 5 I agree you don’t need much! My sister in law just had her first and there is sooooooo much baby stuff everywhere. It’s like a stork flew over and dropped supply crate with enough stuff for 3 babies.
The message to the new moms is so true. I had a million things for my daughter and she didn’t wear half of it bc she grew so much. Worry less new moms!
Soooo excited!!! Love your family..thanks for sharing!!
You’re bedroom looks very nice love your flowers & your desk
I loved her approach! But less, save your money ! And simplify your life. Hard to do bc it’s just so exciting!!!
Yep after my first one I learned you don’t need half the stuff you think you need

"Around our house we do not wake a toddler.." 🤣🤣🤣 that is a CRIME in my house too
Yessssss
In my house we have a rule... you wake em you take em!!! And my teens learned really fast to keep their friends and all quiet at naptime lol
Class A felony in mine

Amy Rivers What a sincere statement. I hope that God will fill your home and heart with His perfect will.
Love this comment ❤️

I clicked so fast thinking you’d had him, then I re read the title properly 😆
Love your desk area 👍
Me too lol I was so excited 😂
You was not alone 😉
Me too!!! Lol
Yes, her desk is so pretty
Same here!
I’m currently pregnant with my first and I’m literally freaking out because I feel so unprepared...your video has eased my mind a little bit.
Oh good! And congrats!!

I used to work at Sam’s club!
Nothing wrong with the clearance Tvs. Usually they are just displays that the store has used.
Those are this year's models they're making room for the new inventory. Everyone is having black Friday sales and clearances on electronics
So true!! We have bought two TVs from Sams that were just returned and marked down hundreds of dollars because of open boxes.
I use to work at target. The tv’s that get put on clearance are because of things like opened box, or the person who returned it forgot a cord or remote that they simply just replace. Nothing wrong with them at all.

A mother and father of 9; almost 10 children?!?!? WOW!!!!!! May you and your family be blessed. This so heartwarming.

Your message to young moms is priceless. The myth that babies need a lot contributes to too much stress for moms.
It's such a great feeling moving furniture around. Feels good!
I love this video. I am currently pregnant with my first and this was very helpful.
Yeah! I'm on baby #7 myself! My favorite baby carrier/ wrap are the baby K-Tan! No buckles, locks, or extra fabric. And you can get them off and on quickly! Here's to us large family moms! 😘
I had one of those triangle holders for my kids too! I like to have them on their side alot!
Beautiful blanket your mom made. Great advice and ideas for new baby. Love the white flowers you got at Hobby Lobby.
So exciting! Blessings to the family!
I like what you've done with the room and the preparations you've made for your little boy on the way. It's nice of you to encourage new moms too.
I love your simplicity, it makes for less stress, and less headache.
How is it possible that you get more beautiful with each passing day?! I was a hot mess with my 4th I felt like shrek 🤣 anyway thanks for sharing and praying for this baby’s birth to go smoothly.
Maybe you just FELT like shrek? Because I also feel like shrek. 🤣
Looks like you are ready for baby #10 ! Everything looks lovely!
I used to think I was overwhelmed with twin boys and a girl 11 months apart. You give me inspiration!
I’m having number 9 and I so agree! I am so minimal now for babies! We have a lot in common! Prayers for a safe and happy delivery! Your bedroom looks nice and simple and pretty!
Love this video! I’m 34 weeks with number 2 and feeling so underprepared compared to my first. This makes me feel so much better!
you have done a beautiful job! and i was out of breath 24/7 with all three of my boys! i am praying for yall!
I am so ready to re do our bedroom! It looks great with the bed under the window, really opens up the space!
Omg, our new baby will be here very soon, I can’t wait to see him. I think you being out of breath is fine because if it was me on every video you would see me in bed sleep. But you are so strong and still taking care of the rest of the family. I’m so happy for you all and may God continue to bless you all.

The best investment I had was a baby swing. I used it with all my children:)
I can’t wait to see the little guy❤️❤️
NURSING TANKS! I lived in them, slept in them. Probably easier to find too. Talk about good access and so much easier. Good luck!
Thanks for sharing! May God bless you and your sweet family. Praying everything will go perfectly!
You are so fortunate. Simple is best!
I completely agree with you.
When i had my baby we had nothing for her but nappies and clothes and we went easy from there!! We saved loads yes
I like how simple you keep things!
Love the flowers very pretty. It was a long time ago for me but I was very out of breath when I was pregnant. Hang in there.
Great look to the bedroom....still busy Sarah even though you are about to have another baby....make time for yourself and chill out, plenty of rest xxxx
My son was 10lbs2oz, 22”. New born was the first two days till I realized they were WAAAAY too small. Can’t wait to meet him!
Oh yeah I bet!!! 🤣
Sound similar to my experience. Oddly my son's first gift was a 20" Paddington Bear. Red hat, blue coat.
My son was 10lbs 4oz but he was in newborn for a month
We were told that the baby was huge and I bought 0 to 3 months and bigger. Ummm... She was big but was still in newborn every thing for awhile... I had so many clothes and I realized it was easier to use the same outfits over and over and I had favorites I loved for her to wear.
@@beverlymoran5966my son was measuring 12lbs 9oz five days before I had him.
Prayers for you and an easy stress free delivery~! Thank you for sharing your amazing journeys~Sending you all big blessings~
How to bath a baby, exersizing, and so many things.
so excited to see the new baby!! your a great mom!
I'm getting soooooo excited for babys arrival!!!!!!
You are such an adorable, caring, sweet mom. Aww. Wishing you a safe, speedy birthing.
I love the baby prep time at the end of pregnancy. I’m a mama to 5 I agree you don’t need much! My sister in law just had her first and there is sooooooo much baby stuff everywhere. It’s like a stork flew over and dropped supply crate with enough stuff for 3 babies.
