This interview was filmed prior to the Covid-19 pandemic Видеоклипы
Henry has to be one of the BEST interviewers I have ever seen. He asks phenomenal questions. Id watch him interview a brick wall. The steve vai one was what hooked me.
And interviewee too, he's one of those guys that I think I could sit down and have a real interesting conversation with.
Lisa is so amazing, and I’m so thankful for her efforts. Top notch work ethic with true passion driving it. Great questions by Henry too. Thanks so much, guys!
Nick Pantazi right? I couldnt agree more. A freaking hero. Underrated.
I'm here because of curiosity about the label that put out Christian Death- Only Theatre Of Pain. Wasn't into punk initially, but that album rocked my teen goth world.
Enjoying this so much ! I love Henry’s fandom and I respect Lisa Fancher. What an intelligent woman and integral part of L.A punk. Plus - I love that shirt she has on. Lol she is lovely.
Music is the one thing that can make me happy
This was fantastic. I love the enthusiasm about music.
Man I would love to meet Henry, he feels like a kindred spirit. A little “off” from “normal”, yet extremely passionate and soooo emotionally connected and dependent on music … just like me.
Great interview. Lisa is the definition of perseverance. Much respect!
That's amazing she's still going strong! And awesome.
Wow, this was a really great interview. Refreshing to know there's other music geeks out there still, old as we are lol.
This is such an awesome series!!! I'm looking forward seeing all of the rock and roll relatives being interviewed. Rollins is a perfect host. Knowledge and Experience.
Love Henry, this was awesome! Lisa is an asset to the community and preservation!
Amazing interview
Wand is great just listened to them thanks!
Great!
I loved the interview! Some of my favorite non-punk Frontier bands are Flop, American Music Club, Heatmiser & Thin White Rope.
Where disappeared THIN WHITE ROPE? They were so prolific and then... a big nothing. Where is Guy Kyser?
CHINA WHITE!
Flying Color, E*I*E*I*O* and American Music Club.
The list goes on.
Thank you 🙏
This is so good. Henry’s and Lisa’s musical passion is overly infectious. No mask required!
A mask is NEVER required.
I get why people like vinyl, when you have a great setup. I completely disagree about CDs being inferior. Digital simply preserves the best quality audio. You can record with Analog all you want. Digital preserves it. It is too bad HI FI is not as accessible to people. Many people are missing out on the experience of a real sound system. Love the discussion and hearing about a different side of music.
Oh my gawd, I remember so many bands she named that I’ve forgotten, my brother was so into Agent Orange! Wow
She is delightful! Officially converted.
Whoever gave this a thumbs down deserves a high five on the face with a chair.
Eddie Joseph shout out! The Skeletons In The Closet and Dead Drunks Don't Dance LPs are both phenomenal. I wish this interview was 3 hours long - could listen to these two talk for ages. Lisa, if you see this, please reissue the Middle Class catalog on vinyl!
let"s get this straight:i love henry rollins!
I somehow wasn't aware of who she was until I saw this. Mad respect.
Nice😎
Hey, Beer City reference!! My band is on Beer City, that was sick to hear.
That’s awesome!😁👍
Yeah Milwaukee
I know exactly what henry was talking about with small shows. I was lucky to have my teenager years in Massachusetts during the late 80s early 90s. I saw alot of bands in places that held 500 or less. Axis avalon the rat narcissis paradise Derringers Lupos babyhead sir morgans cove palladium many others. Lots of big name bands.
the rat lol legendary! Its hayday was over by the time I was a teen (in MA) but that place, and the combat zone, was legendary!
@@troubledwaters7441 haven't heard combat zone in years lol. It's all cleaned up now. Even the glass slipper is gone. That place was like a tittie bar from a Tarrentino movie. Good times good times.
@@lucyfuir6386 :) those were the days
@@troubledwaters7441 I remember walking behind Lansdowne street behind mama kin's to smoke a joint and all of a sudden some guys said Hey you wanna match we said yeah then they said Hey won't you come in with us and the back door opened it turned out to be the band Dada. They put us in the Vip section to watch the show it was pretty cool
How can they not say anything about Suicidal Tendencies very 1st album? Such a classic. They get hardly any respect from the whole punk-history world of books & docs, interviews. Criminal.
ST gets tons of respect
Thought the same thing. HUGELY influential record.
The first album is a great record but it's their only real punk record. After that they tried to do rap metal with "Join the Army" and then thrash. I think they became something else.
I've always been a huge Thin White Rope fan. All their albums came out on Frontier as well as the Long Ryders first lp. Also, unlike Slash & the original Dangerhouse label, I've never heard about Frontier ripping off its artists.
('Pass the Dust I think I'm Bowie' is a tremendous hoot, highly recommended!)
Where disappeared THIN WHITE ROPE? I have most of their stuff, i wonder what's Guy Kyser doing now
@@anfrankogezamartincic1161 he's like a plant scientist or something.
@@careyatchison1348 i'm glad he's not another victim of r'n'r. Still,i miss his desert twang
I listened to Lisa's streaming radio show for several hours last night and it was great...BUT...is there a way to see details about what she's played? I was streaming it from the Radio Domination site...maybe one of the other streaming options lists artists and song titles...?
Can someone link me with the "do the eddie" they are talking about?
They would make a good couple.
Disneyland
I love Disneyland
It's my favorite place
Out in Anaheim
How do i find this discography
Lisa,
Thank you for the Three O’ Clock and Christian Death
How does Henry not know about the Schizophonics?!?
Bizarre.
It's all about sound'e not music..with or without words...haha...
It's "Do the Freddy" not "Do the Eddie".
I caught that too. I was like...is there a different version I’ve not heard?
Thin White Rope.
Funny just read that it is/was a fad and that the “hipster” influence is already on the wane.
Liisa Francher. Please those early Marylin Manson vinyl releases there’s some brilliant music and great influences there and originals are unaffordable for most.
Sweet Pinto😆
The Flyboys were fucking great. Shame they got shit on by everyone.
Rollins band rules but henry wishes he was as good as Nardwar, but he gave that dude hell regardless.
We boned in the 80’s. She’s still a fox.
9:43 any time hipster dudes are presented with music they don’t know lol
Henry why a crimson skull tattoo ?...you a misfits fan ?....where eagles dare
... Do you really not know this? Have you never heard Evilive?
He's had that tattoo since the dawn of time pretty much.
He was a Misfits fan back when he worked at the ice cream parlor.
Henry is on earth ad doing background vocals!
Henry and Danzig were lovers
All the NEW bands mentioned here are derivative crap ... sorry - you're not old because you say new music is shit, you're just old enough to know that the old music was amazing - and I was there! Pretending to like new music ( that's crap ) so you don't look old ... now THAT is stupid.
