Great analysis. He may be the most NFL-ready QB in the draft
Rookie of the year right here🙏
I think he's going to be pretty good his rookie season. From a mechanics point, he's very sound, unlike some of the other QB's in this class. More importantly however, he seems to process well and quickly. He also is a football nerd. He loves tape, has advanced study habits and learns quickly. He also has some good weapons to work with. On the minus side the OL, especially both tackles, is suspect. He's probably not going to have much time in the pocket on a consistent basis. So I think he's going to be pretty good. Not CJ Stroud good, as he came into a better situation, and has the same elite traits. I think Williams has a better supporting cast, but might not have the mental makeup that Daniels has.
I love that take and I've never really heard that before but it's so true... "game-manager" and "playmaking" are totally separate, non mutually exclusive skills
Well, I’m very cautiously optimistic. I only hearing great things coming out of OTAs, so i think it should work out great. Going to wait and see. Can’t wait. Thanks for the Video.
All rookie QBs are great in the OTAs. The problems show up when they start a regular season game.
Skylar Thompson, Miami, looked like a world beater in his rookie pre-season....but, looked bad when he started regular season games.
Brock Purdy looked good in his rookie pre-season games....then he tore up the league when he started regular season games.....
So, you never know until the regular season starts.
I agree, good breakdown! Daniels is ready to start. Maye and Mccarthy need to sit all year and mature. Daniels needs to learn to slide at the drop of a hat, yes!
Thoughts on his supposed unwillingness to throw over the middle? I haven't noticed it to be a problem in the cut ups i have watched but i have heard it discussed. Then even watching your breakdown just now on the crossers play you showed, it seemed to me the post behind the crossers was going to be open for possibly a long TD
Mobile QB’s more likely to get injured ? I’m guessing Herbert/Burrow/Rogers and Stafford need to stop running so much …they all was out almost all of last year !
They all are mobile with the exception of Stafford
I think that’s a lie though. Mahomes, Allen and Russ are barely injured and they’re mobile same with Hurts too.
Mobile qbs and pocket passers get injured at the same rate. I don't know why people continue to repeat this dumb ish
@@thesecond8187 which one of dem got injured because they were being mobile ? What part a 40 year old Aarod is Mobile ? Lol
He brought up Allen Lamar and Mahomes are they mobile just asking
Here for this, nerd
Drake Maye right away? Do you think he’ll start right away and if so how will he perform? Thanks!
No
@@dman9416 why not?
@@gabe_n3324 Better pray happy-feet don't take the field this year.
@@gabe_n3324worst qb in the draft by far
@@RaxInDX how so? Better than Daniels imo. Definitely better than Bo and JJ dude. Penix is an interesting player
With 80% of 1st round QBs since 2010 failing in the NFL.
No rookie QB has much of a chance in the NFL of becoming a 19 year starter.
Common sense offense slowly will work
Second
He's probably gonna get injured 6 games in like Richardson.
🤡
Nope
