I love this truck now. Might be because my dad had one in a similar blue two tone as what they have as his first service truck (now has a Pete 359). Undeniably now one of the best value trucks in the game though.
To me the GMC seems a lot like the Twinsteer, it was set up to fail when handed to a new player at the start of the game. It is undeniably pretty darn terrible with RWD and the stock highway tires, but even without the AWD upgrade, when paired with the lifted suspension and off-road or chained tires I always felt it punched well above the other highway trucks. Now that it does have AWD the GMC is arguably the best value for money in the game at 26.3k including the best engine as standard, and just over 60k fully upgraded. In it's current state, it has to be one of most useful medium trucks in the game, especially on the American side.
Yeah I agree! I think as it was the very first truck too it had to be very limited to really show new players the kind of game they’re getting in to! But yeah it very quickly became obsolete half an hour later when you get the fleetstar etc! In stock condition it was terrible! I even think fully upgraded before it wasn’t amazing, I fully agree it was the best highway truck and fully upgraded it still had some use, but in the white western star video when I was rescuing that, this thing didn’t even move it and then had trouble getting itself up the hill! Now however it’s basically a different truck and it’s not just good it’s bloody good really and for the money it’s an absolute bargain and yeah I reckon one of the best value for money trucks! Yes Vorons etc will out perform it comfortably, but in its own right it’s really not bad, easily useable on the game now for all sorts, and at 26k stock I don’t expect it to beat the best trucks in the game! But the fact it’s now in a similar league to them is awesome! I’d genuinely recommend this to anyone and I’ll certainly be driving it more! Was absolutely the right decision for them to make 👍🏻! It’s probably just gone from being at least capable of doing 20% of the games missions if that, to more like 90%! There’s off road trucks that cost way more than this that aren’t as good or capable now! In fact it highlights that quite a few “good” trucks need a little boost of their own as it makes the game feel better! And the Derry 4520 as an example, on the opposite end of the price spectrum, I reckon this GMC could objectively out perform that now! I’d say it’s better than the freightliner 114sd and I think that truck is fine but £94k odd stock, and £138k or something fully upgraded, vs this at £26k and £60k respectively, well worth it! Very happy with how it is now 👍🏻
I always felt like the gmc performed better than the fleetstar if they were both stock, but the only reason why you end up abandoning it in half an hour is that the fleetstar has the awd upgrade right next to it. I got into snowrunner only about a month ago or so and haven't got the awd upgrade for the gmc yet, but I haven't sold it yet for exactly this reason
If you put a loaf on the dolphin with the rear wheels of the loaf hanging off the back of the side bored, you can ram stuff and catapult the loaf. I did it off the runway in Alaska.
You need to make some “Get Yourself a Lo4f” with “horse of a vehicle” on a shirt (with silhouette of course) with your channel handle. Heck I would buy one

I found that even before the AWD the GMC with diff locks was still pretty useful. it was my backup recovery vehicle. It helps that it is my favorite truck. Super happy it got AWD.
In my opinion the GMC has always been the best of the Highway trucks, but since they gave it AWD this distinction is actually meaningful. I guess I'll whip it out much more often now. (That's definitely what he said.)

Haha no worries dude enjoy your time away 👍🏻! Ever since you told me about the Jeff special I’ve used this a heck of a lot behind the scenes and messing around lol! So I always liked it since then, but to be honest didn’t find it all that useful for actual missions, particularly as I’ve done most if not all the easy stuff! But now it’s a brilliant truck and still has all the fun and nice handling of a highway truck but it’s usable off road on all sorts! It’s a very good truck now! Better than a chunk of trucks that cost 3 times more etc 👍🏻! It’s really nice now doing the Jeff special as I do the lazy version mostly but I can turn AWD off, engage the full Jeff lol, then stick it back in AWD and it still works and it’s easier to control the nose now as it’s pulling itself back out of a drift etc instead of them just being dead wheels that aren’t helping!
I have had that trailer falling over thing happen to me more than once. Funny Lo4F moment #2 from yesterday, I was mopping up tasks on Drowned Lands, doing all the repair / refuel ones, had my Grad with the van body towing a maintenance service trailer, and winching a Lo4F with fuel from garage heading West, Lo4F was bouncing all over the place having a time, when a pebble in the road broke 3 of 4 wheels and left 2/50 on the 4th. Got me thinking, I'm almost at all 4, I could get the Broken Horse achievement on a #horseofavehicle , obviously I had to. so I did laps back and forth dragging the Lo4F as fast as the Grad would go, I had to repair 100% suspension, Fuel, and a good chunk of engine / trans damage on my Grad 2 times before the Lo4F relented and let go of those last 2 points on that tire. In the end, Lo4F was satisfied that I knew who was in charge, popped the tire and let me get my Broken Horse achievement. It's important to bear in mind: you can't break a Lo4F, Lo4F breaks you. I have found that I run into a lot more trees as I continue my journey to being Lo4F trained, it's mesmerizing to watch that thing bounce around when you're towing it and just barreling down the road.
Haha yeah when I tried to get that broken horse mission, I broke 2 tyres on the ck1500 and thought oh I’ll get that, how hard can it be lol! Takes bloody ages to get that last tyre lol! The loaf is a very good vehicle to get it with really as it’s light to drag and smash, well did you drive the loaf to damage it? In the end I towed the ck1500 sideways with the tatarin and did laps of the quarry on smithville lol 👍🏻! Haha I do exactly the same thing, in theory the loaf is fine being towed, even if it rolls, it never digs in and just flips back to its wheels pretty soon, but I always find myself just watching it fly around too until I smash into something lol! The dolphin is good though as you can go flat out into a tree etc and it never takes any engine damage etc 👍🏻
@@itsmrlonewolf I dragged the Lo4F to break it, I just couldn't believe how much the Grad broke instead, I barely too any damage on the way over in the Grad, pretty sure the Lo4F was just making sure I knew who was in charge. It was that paved road between the garage and the service hub on drowned lands, those pebbles and twigs really mess up your truck.
I wish we could put any tyre on any truck. I usually steered clear of trucks that cannot equip mud tyres, including this one. I should probably stop doing that. This truck is wicked cool
That truck is now decent i agree, however, your braver than i am putting a 5th wheel(saddle) on it. The frame is 100 miles long behind the rear drive axle, relatively speaking, and in the hills it gets hung up on semi trailers bringing the steers off the ground and driving you into all sorts of stuff. Pretty good with non-semi trailers though. That frame hung you up in this video twice... First time when you crested the hill turning left, and she slid right. Second time in your swimming tests. She didnt lose traction. She had nothing to grab with the steers floating at that steep of an angle. Lol
Yeah it’s a lot better than it used to be and I don’t think it was terrible before, just not suited to off road but now it’s pretty good! Haha yeah it does have a bit of a long back end, a few other trucks I’ve reviewed have the same problem, I remember the kodiak c70 was pretty bad for that I think! I think that’s what did stop it in the water in the end but I honestly had a good few swims and it seemed for some reason like it would go really slow in water even before the back end got down far enough? I hadn’t even got far enough for it to become a muddy sea bed? I certainly wouldn’t use it to cross there lol, I think the Voron grad is the best for that crossing, and most reliable! Maybe it has some kind of artificial reduction on it from its non awd days? I could be completely wrong but it wasn’t a fan of deep water lol! However plenty aren’t and realistically there’s not usually a need to be able to swim that much lol
It’d be interesting to see how the fleet star stacks up now, because like most people as soon as I found that the gmc got sold, also fleetstar hangs out the back more so useless as a semi, but I just used the ramped flatbed and got 6 cargo and a crane so it’s good for purpose

Funny thin, now that this truck has AWD, it doesn't need it. :( I could almost never finish the farm Food Delivery with it in the beginning and was an early sell off for me, just now without using AWD I got GOld. :)
Lol I know what you mean as in it’s like the highway trucks had some extra limiter on them that awd trucks don’t seem to have! I tried turning AWD off a few times and yeah it didn’t seem that bad! Either way it’s a really decent truck now and for the money it’s a bargain! Nice work on getting gold too 👍🏻
The reason the second engine has more power than the third is that the truck originally does not come with the stock engine (first engine). Hear me out it actually makes sense (well sort off in a convoluted typically Russian way). When you discover it during the tutorial it has the third engine installed. This is the first truck you get and they did not want to put the stock engine (first engine) in it as it would be to underpowered with it. But they did not want to give you an upgrade (second engine) that it shares with other trucks as it would also automatically give you an upgrade for other trucks. So they loaded it with a unique better than stock engine (the third engine) and forgot to delete the actual stock engine (the first engine) that nobody ever uses.
I think all the upgrades should have level unlocks as well. I tried to do a new playthrough starting in Russia but it limited me to only the stock gearboxes.
Haha yeah I get what you mean, well I’ve basically completed this play through so it wasn’t bad for me as I was straight on this map! I guess they want to make it so the gmc is still as it was for a while but then by the time you’re on this map you get an extra boost lol 👍🏻! It’s such a nice truck now with AWD! Especially for the money!
Hedgehobbit yeah I think they purposely made the findable upgrades be only that and have no levels! It can be good and bad I guess, it wouldn’t take that long to nip and get the upgrades you need from other maps if you know where to get them from 👍🏻! Luckily you only have to do a couple of contracts per map before it unlocks the next
43:45 Scandinavian Flip. I have never heard about it in Sweden but Scandinavian Flick that is when you turn fast left then right to get car sideways through turn without slowing down.
Haha yeah I was kinda joking, I did a Scandinavian flick but to flip it off the cliffs lol, the reason I flip it off the cliffs is if you land on your roof you take little to no damage and then it just rolls back to its wheels! Half the time I take zero damage whereas most things can delete themselves flying off there!

That winch towing behaviour was aslo in the Gran-Daddy, Spintires ~ it's an epic feature and was necessary to pass some swamps, as one one vehicle could make it through ~ modded monster trucks exempted; it still works in SnowRunner and I've seen the towing truck push you through the cracked ice more than once already in YOUR own vids. :) Or is it something else?
Yeah I like the way it drives the other truck to push you and hell yes I use it loads haha in the shenanigans video the other day, Bruce was pushing dolphin and loaf through some boggy mud lol 👍🏻! I just mean though I’m sure a few weeks ago etc it was more smooth driving, recently I’ve noticed trucks I’m winched to kind of drive for a second, then stop dead, then drive a bit more, and it seems a bit less fluent? Might just be me but in my loaf review near the end, I keep attaching a winch to the dolphin when I’m sat in the loaf in the sideboard bed, and the Azov drives just fine, none of that stop start jerky driving?
GMC is a bit on the tippy side but yea overall very nice. We didn't get Twin-Steer AWD this time, but keep in mind we only have half of Phase 1. There is still a second map to come yet. We don't have the PTS to go on so we can't say anything for sure yet, but the rumored Twin-Steer AWD could still appear in map 2. I'm on PS4 myself as well but I'm also on the Focus Forums. So when the PTS comes back I'll let you know what the PC guys find out.
Yeah funnily enough before this Kovd map I thought that the twin steer didn’t need awd, but with stuff like the breakable ice, it makes a lot more sense to add it now! @@itsmrlonewolf Last I heard from early PTS patch notes it looks like Twin-Steer isn't on map 2 either. Latest speculation going around is it might actually be saved until Phase 2, although that's not concrete yet. Does look like there is a visual patch coming for the GMC AWD front axle though. Dunno if you noticed but with the current axle all they did was stick a diff on the steering arm. Looks like they'll be fixing that and adding a proper front axle. It actually looks like there is a pretty long list of patch notes so far. I wonder if Sabre is gone back into full staff being active again?
@@itsmrlonewolf Well things regarding the Twin-Steer are still unclear. Some are saying it's a hidden upgrade, others are saying it's AWD isn't in Phase 1. I guess we won't know for sure until we get the full patch notes. But, it looks like the Derry Longhorn could be getting a change. While the dummy axle isn't getting removed, it looks like a feature is getting added that will let the player raise the dummy axle off the ground. I mean hey, might only be a few inches of clearance, but it's certainly better then nothing nothing. Between them letting us raise the axle, and the already previously added full time diff-lock to along with it's AWD. I mean they are at least trying to make the truck a little better.
@@justinlynch3 the rumor of awd twinsteer is true. Check tc9700gaming. He had a preview of the test server in 2nd part of phase 2 and it shows a hidden upgrade for twinsteer AWD to be precise. Same for more powerful motor in the f750. A v10 to be precise.
@@justinlynch3 and last I ran the longhorn the tag axle was down permanently. Helped in Alaska though with those oil rigs and running thru that one road where no other truck on the game could make it aside from the longhorn and that thing is a beast with v12-v16 upgrade motor in it.
A great upgrade for a good truck! Buuut the thing is, it would be easier to reach for the Royal in Alaska than scouting for this sole upgrade in Kovd. By all means a nice gesture from the devs, but very impractical on a new game

I actually really like the gmc with awd, I like the look of it, it kinda feels better than the ank and some other off-road trucks, I always like the old look of this truck but it wasn’t the best because it was a highway truck but now I love it. Nice video, thank you.
This thing is now a real contender. 47 inch tyres. Awd & diff lock. You can fit the 47 inch tyres with standard height or lifted suspension, useful to tune for the job at hand. Nice turning circle too.

Yeah I’ve had a think about it for a little while dude and at some point I may have to, but the couple of reasons I haven’t so far is I like that people can watch without adverts jumping in lol as in a perfect world we’d all rather they didn’t haha! But also as I swear and then some sometimes, I don’t think I’d be that monetisable anyway lol? RUclips have gone crazy in the last few years and gone so stupid with their advertising polices that they actually lose serious millions a year, billions I believe, it’s just that google own RUclips so can afford the losses! It started when the perpetually offended crowd started trying to boycott any advertiser that appeared in a video which had an opinion different to their own! So then RUclips and advertisers got very select about who they want to appear on and who RUclips would let! Long story short I’d be lucky to get 10% of what “clean” safe youtubers would earn off the same views etc! So right now I’m not missing out on anything too crazy! But in theory one day I may do so as it’s kind of becoming a full time thing lol! Either way though I really appreciate the thought and offer dude and it would undoubtedly help with things in the long run 👍🏻!

Lol yeah that’s what I said at about 2:17! That said I honestly don’t care right now and would rather we have it than have to wait a week or so more while they draw another axle for it! And it depends, if they end up sorting it and making its own custom AWD axle then I’d say fair play for not just copying and pasting the AWD off another truck, if they just leave it like this forever then yeah it’s lazy lol! But I honestly don’t mind, they clearly never had plans to make it AWD but after how little it gets used I guess they kind of knocked it together! It works and that’s all I care about lol 👍🏻
@@itsmrlonewolf After 9500 acquired AWD upgrade, it gonna be a real competitor for Fleetstar F2070A, both are available at very begining of game, both is capable of crane+sideboard bed+sideboard trailer combine, and they have exactly the same size of gap between the tailgate of sideboard bed and trailer, and almost got jam at same angle of steering due to insufficient gap. The only perfect truck for crane+bed+trailer combine I have found is Freightliner 114SD.
@@pqhkr2002, it weights too much compared to GMC and Fleetstar. As for the original case, yes, the GMC with AWD is sometimes even better than Fleetstar because of 47" tires...
They slipped up on the front axle. AWD and RWD have the SAME front axle but instead of making a new AWD axle, it appears to be the exact same as the RWD but with a random differential housing in The middle. Lol that’s gonna bother ppl like me who enjoy watching the realistic suspension in action.
I had an update to Snowrunner yesterday, but couldn't find any change, apart from one task in the Quarry map (take 3 wooden pallets to the Village) that maybe I'd just missed before. Did anyone see any differences from this update?
I dare to say the best American truck maybe second to only the twin steer but for it it is absolutely amazing i think it is the cut off line between all other trucks and the Russian super beast
Man im not new to the game this truck now makes all them look terrible the freightliner 114sd is about the only thing that comes close but it doesnt have the power or ground clearance and the paystar tips to easy

The GMC is actually a good truck after getting the upgrades, i see alot of players on youtube selling it right off the bat. Granted it sucks in the beginning but its a very capable truck once u get the off-road tires at level 6 and thats without AWD and Diff-lock upgrades. Its a very strong, heavy, and stable truck too. But the chevy kodiak is trash, i sold it off quick, very incapable truck

I found that even before the AWD the GMC with diff locks was still pretty useful. it was my backup recovery vehicle.
It helps that it is my favorite truck. Super happy it got AWD.
In my opinion the GMC has always been the best of the Highway trucks, but since they gave it AWD this distinction is actually meaningful. I guess I'll whip it out much more often now. (That's definitely what he said.)

So I always liked it since then, but to be honest didn’t find it all that useful for actual missions, particularly as I’ve done most if not all the easy stuff! But now it’s a brilliant truck and still has all the fun and nice handling of a highway truck but it’s usable off road on all sorts! It’s a very good truck now! Better than a chunk of trucks that cost 3 times more etc 👍🏻!
It’s really nice now doing the Jeff special as I do the lazy version mostly but I can turn AWD off, engage the full Jeff lol, then stick it back in AWD and it still works and it’s easier to control the nose now as it’s pulling itself back out of a drift etc instead of them just being dead wheels that aren’t helping!

I have had that trailer falling over thing happen to me more than once. Funny Lo4F moment #2 from yesterday, I was mopping up tasks on Drowned Lands, doing all the repair / refuel ones, had my Grad with the van body towing a maintenance service trailer, and winching a Lo4F with fuel from garage heading West, Lo4F was bouncing all over the place having a time, when a pebble in the road broke 3 of 4 wheels and left 2/50 on the 4th. Got me thinking, I'm almost at all 4, I could get the Broken Horse achievement on a #horseofavehicle , obviously I had to. so I did laps back and forth dragging the Lo4F as fast as the Grad would go, I had to repair 100% suspension, Fuel, and a good chunk of engine / trans damage on my Grad 2 times before the Lo4F relented and let go of those last 2 points on that tire. In the end, Lo4F was satisfied that I knew who was in charge, popped the tire and let me get my Broken Horse achievement. It's important to bear in mind: you can't break a Lo4F, Lo4F breaks you.
I have found that I run into a lot more trees as I continue my journey to being Lo4F trained, it's mesmerizing to watch that thing bounce around when you're towing it and just barreling down the road.
Haha yeah when I tried to get that broken horse mission, I broke 2 tyres on the ck1500 and thought oh I’ll get that, how hard can it be lol! Takes bloody ages to get that last tyre lol! The loaf is a very good vehicle to get it with really as it’s light to drag and smash, well did you drive the loaf to damage it? In the end I towed the ck1500 sideways with the tatarin and did laps of the quarry on smithville lol 👍🏻!
Haha I do exactly the same thing, in theory the loaf is fine being towed, even if it rolls, it never digs in and just flips back to its wheels pretty soon, but I always find myself just watching it fly around too until I smash into something lol! The dolphin is good though as you can go flat out into a tree etc and it never takes any engine damage etc 👍🏻
@@itsmrlonewolf I dragged the Lo4F to break it, I just couldn't believe how much the Grad broke instead, I barely too any damage on the way over in the Grad, pretty sure the Lo4F was just making sure I knew who was in charge. It was that paved road between the garage and the service hub on drowned lands, those pebbles and twigs really mess up your truck.
I wish we could put any tyre on any truck. I usually steered clear of trucks that cannot equip mud tyres, including this one. I should probably stop doing that. This truck is wicked cool
If we could put any tire on any truck then the American trucks would be better than the russian ones and the devs don't want that.

That truck is now decent i agree, however, your braver than i am putting a 5th wheel(saddle) on it. The frame is 100 miles long behind the rear drive axle, relatively speaking, and in the hills it gets hung up on semi trailers bringing the steers off the ground and driving you into all sorts of stuff. Pretty good with non-semi trailers though.
That frame hung you up in this video twice... First time when you crested the hill turning left, and she slid right. Second time in your swimming tests. She didnt lose traction. She had nothing to grab with the steers floating at that steep of an angle. Lol
Yeah it’s a lot better than it used to be and I don’t think it was terrible before, just not suited to off road but now it’s pretty good! Haha yeah it does have a bit of a long back end, a few other trucks I’ve reviewed have the same problem, I remember the kodiak c70 was pretty bad for that I think!
I think that’s what did stop it in the water in the end but I honestly had a good few swims and it seemed for some reason like it would go really slow in water even before the back end got down far enough? I hadn’t even got far enough for it to become a muddy sea bed? I certainly wouldn’t use it to cross there lol, I think the Voron grad is the best for that crossing, and most reliable!
Maybe it has some kind of artificial reduction on it from its non awd days? I could be completely wrong but it wasn’t a fan of deep water lol! However plenty aren’t and realistically there’s not usually a need to be able to swim that much lol

It’d be interesting to see how the fleet star stacks up now, because like most people as soon as I found that the gmc got sold, also fleetstar hangs out the back more so useless as a semi, but I just used the ramped flatbed and got 6 cargo and a crane so it’s good for purpose
Fleet star has less athletic ability, 45 inch tyres...best looking truck in the game though, the 2070.

Funny thin, now that this truck has AWD, it doesn't need it. :( I could almost never finish the farm Food Delivery with it in the beginning and was an early sell off for me, just now without using AWD I got GOld. :)
Lol I know what you mean as in it’s like the highway trucks had some extra limiter on them that awd trucks don’t seem to have! I tried turning AWD off a few times and yeah it didn’t seem that bad! Either way it’s a really decent truck now and for the money it’s a bargain! Nice work on getting gold too 👍🏻
The reason the second engine has more power than the third is that the truck originally does not come with the stock engine (first engine). Hear me out it actually makes sense (well sort off in a convoluted typically Russian way). When you discover it during the tutorial it has the third engine installed. This is the first truck you get and they did not want to put the stock engine (first engine) in it as it would be to underpowered with it. But they did not want to give you an upgrade (second engine) that it shares with other trucks as it would also automatically give you an upgrade for other trucks. So they loaded it with a unique better than stock engine (the third engine) and forgot to delete the actual stock engine (the first engine) that nobody ever uses.

I think all the upgrades should have level unlocks as well. I tried to do a new playthrough starting in Russia but it limited me to only the stock gearboxes.

I guess they want to make it so the gmc is still as it was for a while but then by the time you’re on this map you get an extra boost lol 👍🏻! It’s such a nice truck now with AWD! Especially for the money!
Hedgehobbit yeah I think they purposely made the findable upgrades be only that and have no levels! It can be good and bad I guess, it wouldn’t take that long to nip and get the upgrades you need from other maps if you know where to get them from 👍🏻! Luckily you only have to do a couple of contracts per map before it unlocks the next

43:45 Scandinavian Flip. I have never heard about it in Sweden but Scandinavian Flick that is when you turn fast left then right to get car sideways through turn without slowing down.
Haha yeah I was kinda joking, I did a Scandinavian flick but to flip it off the cliffs lol, the reason I flip it off the cliffs is if you land on your roof you take little to no damage and then it just rolls back to its wheels! Half the time I take zero damage whereas most things can delete themselves flying off there!

That winch towing behaviour was aslo in the Gran-Daddy, Spintires ~ it's an epic feature and was necessary to pass some swamps, as one one vehicle could make it through ~ modded monster trucks exempted; it still works in SnowRunner and I've seen the towing truck push you through the cracked ice more than once already in YOUR own vids. :)

Yeah I like the way it drives the other truck to push you and hell yes I use it loads haha in the shenanigans video the other day, Bruce was pushing dolphin and loaf through some boggy mud lol 👍🏻! I just mean though I’m sure a few weeks ago etc it was more smooth driving, recently I’ve noticed trucks I’m winched to kind of drive for a second, then stop dead, then drive a bit more, and it seems a bit less fluent? Might just be me but in my loaf review near the end, I keep attaching a winch to the dolphin when I’m sat in the loaf in the sideboard bed, and the Azov drives just fine, none of that stop start jerky driving?
I see it didn't do that well in the devils mud. But most trucks don't. I'm just glad there is no thunder mud though. Lol

GMC is a bit on the tippy side but yea overall very nice.
We didn't get Twin-Steer AWD this time, but keep in mind we only have half of Phase 1. There is still a second map to come yet. We don't have the PTS to go on so we can't say anything for sure yet, but the rumored Twin-Steer AWD could still appear in map 2.
I'm on PS4 myself as well but I'm also on the Focus Forums. So when the PTS comes back I'll let you know what the PC guys find out.
Yeah funnily enough before this Kovd map I thought that the twin steer didn’t need awd, but with stuff like the breakable ice, it makes a lot more sense to add it now! But yeah It Could still appear in the second map 👍🏻!

@@itsmrlonewolf Last I heard from early PTS patch notes it looks like Twin-Steer isn't on map 2 either. Latest speculation going around is it might actually be saved until Phase 2, although that's not concrete yet.
Does look like there is a visual patch coming for the GMC AWD front axle though. Dunno if you noticed but with the current axle all they did was stick a diff on the steering arm. Looks like they'll be fixing that and adding a proper front axle.
It actually looks like there is a pretty long list of patch notes so far. I wonder if Sabre is gone back into full staff being active again?
@@itsmrlonewolf Well things regarding the Twin-Steer are still unclear. Some are saying it's a hidden upgrade, others are saying it's AWD isn't in Phase 1. I guess we won't know for sure until we get the full patch notes.
But, it looks like the Derry Longhorn could be getting a change. While the dummy axle isn't getting removed, it looks like a feature is getting added that will let the player raise the dummy axle off the ground.
I mean hey, might only be a few inches of clearance, but it's certainly better then nothing nothing. Between them letting us raise the axle, and the already previously added full time diff-lock to along with it's AWD. I mean they are at least trying to make the truck a little better.
@@justinlynch3 the rumor of awd twinsteer is true. Check tc9700gaming. He had a preview of the test server in 2nd part of phase 2 and it shows a hidden upgrade for twinsteer AWD to be precise. Same for more powerful motor in the f750. A v10 to be precise.
@@justinlynch3 and last I ran the longhorn the tag axle was down permanently. Helped in Alaska though with those oil rigs and running thru that one road where no other truck on the game could make it aside from the longhorn and that thing is a beast with v12-v16 upgrade motor in it.
A great upgrade for a good truck! Buuut the thing is, it would be easier to reach for the Royal in Alaska than scouting for this sole upgrade in Kovd. By all means a nice gesture from the devs, but very impractical on a new game
Or an existing one seeing as how you have a fleet of better trucks already.

When modding tools come to consoles I want someone to make the 10x10 Scania with road train trailers, also the 10x10 kenworth c500 with duel flatbed trailers, I think it would be really cool.
Yeah it would be really cool to have some kind of road train that can carry more than 2 trailers! To be honest it would be cool if they added an Australian region! Have that kind of sandy off road out back type driving, with road trains lol 👍🏻

I actually really like the gmc with awd, I like the look of it, it kinda feels better than the ank and some other off-road trucks, I always like the old look of this truck but it wasn’t the best because it was a highway truck but now I love it. Nice video, thank you.
This thing is now a real contender. 47 inch tyres. Awd & diff lock. You can fit the 47 inch tyres with standard height or lifted suspension, useful to tune for the job at hand. Nice turning circle too.
After i got the platinum and 100% the nee map, i started a new save using only this truck in 2wd. It makes the game completely different.

Yeah I’ve had a think about it for a little while dude and at some point I may have to, but the couple of reasons I haven’t so far is I like that people can watch without adverts jumping in lol as in a perfect world we’d all rather they didn’t haha! But also as I swear and then some sometimes, I don’t think I’d be that monetisable anyway lol?
RUclips have gone crazy in the last few years and gone so stupid with their advertising polices that they actually lose serious millions a year, billions I believe, it’s just that google own RUclips so can afford the losses! It started when the perpetually offended crowd started trying to boycott any advertiser that appeared in a video which had an opinion different to their own! So then RUclips and advertisers got very select about who they want to appear on and who RUclips would let!
Long story short I’d be lucky to get 10% of what “clean” safe youtubers would earn off the same views etc! So right now I’m not missing out on anything too crazy! But in theory one day I may do so as it’s kind of becoming a full time thing lol!
Either way though I really appreciate the thought and offer dude and it would undoubtedly help with things in the long run 👍🏻!

To be fair I rarely make a video smaller than 10 minutes with this game but yeah I just make a video, adding filler bollocks in to drag it to 10 minutes or otherwise isn’t my style and I want my channel to be how I’d like to find other channels if that makes sense! If I wanted to add more info then yeah, but just talking on for the first 4 minutes etc to pad it out isn’t my thing lol! I like to get straight into the video and yeah I mess around near the end usually but that’s now when people can turn off if they’ve seen what they need to, and some can stay if they want!

0:17 lazy guys in Snowrunner developer team, look at its front driving axle, they just simply add differencial case on a normal non-drive frone axle.
Lol yeah that’s what I said at about 2:17! That said I honestly don’t care right now and would rather we have it than have to wait a week or so more while they draw another axle for it! And it depends, if they end up sorting it and making its own custom AWD axle then I’d say fair play for not just copying and pasting the AWD off another truck, if they just leave it like this forever then yeah it’s lazy lol! But I honestly don’t mind, they clearly never had plans to make it AWD but after how little it gets used I guess they kind of knocked it together! It works and that’s all I care about lol 👍🏻
@@itsmrlonewolf After 9500 acquired AWD upgrade, it gonna be a real competitor for Fleetstar F2070A, both are available at very begining of game, both is capable of crane+sideboard bed+sideboard trailer combine, and they have exactly the same size of gap between the tailgate of sideboard bed and trailer, and almost got jam at same angle of steering due to insufficient gap. The only perfect truck for crane+bed+trailer combine I have found is Freightliner 114SD.

Nice showcase i sold this truck at beginning and bought it back after a dew weeks playing I'll make it into a rescue truck and basic hauler 👍
They slipped up on the front axle. AWD and RWD have the SAME front axle but instead of making a new AWD axle, it appears to be the exact same as the RWD but with a random differential housing in The middle. Lol that’s gonna bother ppl like me who enjoy watching the realistic suspension in action.
Wish this truck had a cabin protector for it, would make the back look better

I started using it in the new map. I'll say its a bit tippy with the crane on it but not as bad as some vehicles
I had an update to Snowrunner yesterday, but couldn't find any change, apart from one task in the Quarry map (take 3 wooden pallets to the Village) that maybe I'd just missed before.

Man im not new to the game this truck now makes all them look terrible the freightliner 114sd is about the only thing that comes close but it doesnt have the power or ground clearance and the paystar tips to easy

The GMC is actually a good truck after getting the upgrades, i see alot of players on youtube selling it right off the bat. Granted it sucks in the beginning but its a very capable truck once u get the off-road tires at level 6 and thats without AWD and Diff-lock upgrades. Its a very strong, heavy, and stable truck too. But the chevy kodiak is trash, i sold it off quick, very incapable truck
The GMC is the only useful highway truck it is actually worth it just like the twin steer !
The front wheel drive looks awful and it does not have a working axle. I hope they will deliver that.
