It does not support DVR recording, but if you want to watch a certain channel, we will include it in the playback function. It does not support user-generated recording.

Can the remote control the TV (volume, on/off, etc.)?
Please make sure you cover that aspect in future streamer reviews since this feature makes it so much easier to use the streamer with the TV without needing any other smart global remote controls.
One more review aspect is the version of the OS, and whether it runs a compatible google OS or a custom built android OS.

Greetings Richman. I have a question I hope you can provide an answer to . I cast (mirror) youtube videos played on my cell phone to my firetv stick for display (audio and video) on my television. However, when I play RUclips TV or blue stream fiber tv programming on my cell phone the television screen goes dark. Sound and CC both function, but the actual video won't. I have searched for a solution without success. It seems that there a many people with the same problem. Thank you. Dennis

Just get a Firestick 4K Tivimate and a good IPTV sub job done. These "Streaming" boxes are a con always have been always will be.
