  • I just released the full video to show there was no chicanery going on. If you want just go to the last few minutes. Start and stop traffic is really hard on a battery as you erase all your momentum then need full power to get up to it again. If you live in a suburban or rural area you'll probably get more mileage. This is about as hard as it gets. It's too bad I had to turn back because of possible rain because I know I would have got more range driving out in God's country than downtown stopping every 20 seconds at a light. I'd say 30.5 km(19 miles) is the MINIMUM you'll get. Anything approaching more responsible usage of the battery or better riding conditions will increase the range considerably for sure.

IMPORTANT: I've just done a calibration test on my odometer and at 22.8 wheel diameter the speed is more accurate but the odometer is around %10 TOO LOW. The true range for this battery in this test is 33.5 km. I'm going to do an odometer and speed calibration video coming soon. I found some settings in the display that will make both accurate.

When the dog is barking at me at 41:40 That's exactly %50 battery, maybe a little more if I shut the bike down for 5 mins. It was at 16.8km a little over 10 miles(10.4). So yeah this is a 20 mile battery under these harsh conditions. Especially the stopping at stop lights. Works the battery hard getting back up to speed.

Go to Jansno's official store. 17amp hour battery was $350 CDN, no tax, free shipping. Came with an extra charger and battery plate.

Hahaha. True. My damn street is a highway. Let's say "Follow the rules-ish". Happy riding brother. Keep that rubber side down and stay safe. I'm planning to do another run maybe this weekend or next with the larger battery. However there was a gentleman that ordered the bike just recently on the channel and I'm holding back a little just in case he needs an instructional video on either how to put it together or his request on the cable actuated system. But I'm totally willing to take requests if you like. I've got to get rid of these tires, they are not bad don't get me wrong, but they are wholly unsuited for street riding. Maybe I'll do a quick video this weekend of the OPTIONS for the tires and allow the viewers to decide based on the merits. What do you think?
