Kerass is like the only decent target. Broadbull is an incredibly good card, but his search targets are a bit not there right now.

Not all the fire decks, just the ones that profit from lvl 1 special summon so every deck execpt ryzeal. If they were truly for game balance they would have limited Bonfire but they didnt, fucking rats.

Master Duel is "ahead" of everything because they do banlists more often. The icing on this cake would of been a "Our next banlist will be at This YCS Location" but ofc Konami won't give us that much.
They also have a lot more data because it’s online. They can exactly know how much a deck is winning or being used

I’mma say something controversial but I’m sad to see snake eye gone. Out of the top decks in Anaheim it was arguably the most fair or second most fair deck. I’d make the argument that Yubel, tenpai, and malice are all less fair and I’m not sure on ryzeal.

I don't know how you paper players do it. They banned oss to make you play a $1000 deck or $700 or not be competitive. It's quite sad.

L list. Outside of nuking Tenpai (good thing IMO) and removing an extension tool for Yubel, this doesn't do anything to the topping meta. Snake Eyes was already struggling. They could have hit overpowered cards without directly hitting Fiendsmith/Ryzeal/Maliss but they didn't

I think they meant that Konami could've indirectly hit Maliss and Ryzeal without hitting the main cards they use. Shifter ban would've been appreciated along with the limitation of Bonfire. Maybe even Dim Barrier banning too could've happen since it sees a lot of uses in the side deck.

Is jowgen/puppet getting played? Branded hasn't won anything but ppl wished the floodgates to be go, that's all. The only saving grace is shifter will not be in the mains like you said hopefully. Im a new player to the deck and it seems like OSS is the main way of snake eye bridging into fire king so is that deck not viable anymore?

Fire King itself is still playable, but the Diabellstar engine is dead. It's useless without OSS

@ not really, tri kinda acts like a bigger worse version of what the nadir engine did when the structure deck first released and it doesn’t really add anything if you draw it plus fk engine other than revolt bc apo is banned so tri is really bad rn

Hey man. Please try this medicine, it's called Isotretinoin. This is not a stab at you or anything, I've suffered what you have and had this. Side effects are a minor, just some dryness, but it really clears up your skin.

There is absolutely zero variety or flexibility in the Yugioh meta and there arguably hasn’t been any since the synchro era. It’s a deck full of hand traps with whatever the newest tier 0 archetype is splashed in. It’s so bad I have no idea why anyone plays it anymore

They were not powercrept, the crossover breakers have their own weaknesses and are even more manageable going second, this list just centralizes side and main deck hate against them while getting rid of the annoying handtrap dinamic created by the earlier decks.
I mean ryzeal and maliss just came out so it's obvious they won't hit any of the cards just yet

Maliss and Ryzeal aren't strictly better than Snake-eyes, Yubel or Tenpai at all

My initial reaction was almost identical to Jesse. "This... Doesn't really change anything...." So hearing that from the world champ made me feel validated, because all the normies did was criticize me. The biggest hit on the list was Sangen Kaimen, Phantom and OSS. Every other card felt like fluff. I didn't even know that Barrage and Drident were still banned in the TCG because both are legal in MD and OCG...
Its there difference between a world champion calibur player like Jesse and the normies then.

I don't understand why so many people here think it's a good list when it's a list coming 2 banlists too late that kills decks being already phased out, forcibly pushing players to buy new stuff and reducing the number of decks competitively viable in a seemingly 2 decks environnment. Shifter, Protos, Colossos, D Barrier, Crossout, I:P, when can we get rid of these cards? Also why not Flamberge instead of OSS? Why no bring back Drident? Why not ban Sanctifire as well? Why no Kash cards and/or Ceasar for the Kash Fiend deck?
Sanctifire doesn't need to be banned honestly branded wasn't even doing anything to the top deck in the last format and without puppet you'll have to get more creative with sanctifire the other locks are way more outable

If Protos ends up getting banned again I want Baronne back. Chixiao + Qixing pass isn't all that strong of an end board. Swordsoul needs at least one of those two cards to be worth playing.

I find this list funny. I find MD has more balls then the TCG and OCG lol. Basically the game has a ton of power and you can't balance by making more broken cards. Sometimes you have to have the other power cards balance out the new ones. It's hard to say this but it's hard to banned problem cards when you don't know what those are anymore. We say cards are the problem but really they just make a new card that does the same as an old card did in the past and then that card becomes broken. Then they will just do it again. So really it hard to know what is the problem anymore.
