This bag is stunning when it is all done. I made this for a friends little girl for her birthday. It was a huge success. She still has it on display in her room with her favourite things hiding inside and little notes from friends in all the pockets. Thank you for sharing!
This is adorable! Will a birthday card for into the front pocket of the bag? It would be make for a nice gift bag with gift inside and birthday card in the front pocket!
What do you suggest me to put on the carbord if i want to travel with it and get it water repellent ? i admire what you create and intend to do a few of your ideas. Congratulation !!!!
Hi Sam, I know I’m somewhat late 🤭but I just had to add a comment; what a brilliant tutorial. I’ve just finished mine for my daughter. You do the most fun projects and deliver with such clear instructions. Thank you, hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a happy healthy New Year x
Another amazing Tutorial, I wish we had girls in the family I would be making one today. I will have a look through my card/paper to make a male version to pop some "man goodies" in as gift. Another great ring, love it 😀 Patricia xx
Hi Rosemarie sorry for the delayed response. My magnets were 3mm I believe, Its all listed with links in my blog post in the information below the video x
Absolutely Adorable!! Love your tutorials and that so far, each video that I have watched, you wear yet another beautiful ring 😀 So, so happy that I have found you!!!
Amazing Sam I made mine today for a male who is travelling I cant thank you enough. It is fab :D I am looking forward to makin g more when I get time off! Many Blessings from Scotland )o( x
I'm a bit late to the party, but I'm glad I found your channel. This is a fabulous project! I'm definitely going to try making one. Your tutorial is very clear and detailed. Thank you for sharing you ideas and for the inspiration!
Oh my goodness! I worked along with you and it came together perfectly - until that last piece ---- I added it backwards and had to pull it apart again. The tape tore the cardstock so I had to add an extra full size piece to the back panel. It all worked out and thank goodness for that. Its adorable! I found this much easier to make than the pop box card - still fighting with that one but I wont give up until I get it right. Thanks so much.
Lovely idea, thanks for sharing!!! I know you added a piece of card over the magnets in the pocket surely you need them over the flap magnets so prying fingers can't pull them off or put in their mouth.
Sam, this is an amazing project. I don't think I have every seen a card bag made as detailed as this. The recipient would be totally gobsmacked at the amount of work that has gone into it. Thank you for your continued inspiration to us crafters. :O)
This was so amazing! Thank you for such a detailed tutorial. I’ve never made anything out of paper, not even a card. I didn’t have all the exact supplies you used so I improvised a bit. However because you did such a great job with the directions I was able to make this super cool bag. I bought a gift and needed a cool bag. I wish I could attach a photo to show how great the bag turned out. It has little flaws but not very noticeable. Again thank you so much!!
Wow this backpack is unbelievable!! Coolest thing I've ever seen! I can't wait to make this. You made it very easy and I really appreciate that. Your a wonderful teacher 😀 How heavy is your paper? What weight do u recommend? Thank u so much for this. I'm amazed by this
Hello, thank you for your kind words. I would recommend above 200gsm if you want as really sturdy backpack however 160gsm would work I just wouldn't put anything too heavy in it. x

Glad you liked it. I would suggest using velcro if you're worried about smaller children taking it apart. x

The magnets and everything are listed in my blog post below the tutorial. I used 3mm magnets from Ebay however bigger ones would work fine also. x
You can use aluminum to get your corner rounder to work properly again. It will sharpen it.
I cant wait to make it oh my it is sooooo lovely!!!! :) TYTY for the great tutorial :) Where was the travel from?? I love it :)
This is amazing. Very stunning. Is the red tape stronger than the white tape?
Tfs. Smiles & Huggzz
