The Whiskey Train.... Riding The Rails

Join me as I check of one of my bucket list items and ride the whiskey train out of Angola Indiana . An old steam powered passenger train takes us on a 3 hour railway experience. A huge thank you to my wife and the friends that joined us for the early birthday present.

If you like train rides, check out Castaway Caboose in West Virginia. You rent the caboose as a "camper". You take an amazing ride through the mountains, then they take you to a far away place in the mountains and drop you off in the caboose to camp next to a river and come back to get you when your time is over. Just the train ride is awesome though. WV has the best train rides IMHO. Another good train experience is in Bryson City, NC. Completely different experiences than what we have here in Indiana.

And if you like train stuff in general, and you make it to WV, you have to check out the town of Thurmond. Hard to describe, but its the most incredible train depot town with some cool history.
