@@nathankasinger8410 as big as I can find lol like to have a set of 40x15 on a 15 inch rim but I got the 16.5 rims in this so Im limited on tire choice
That is a 4 door version of my car. My suggestion would be to check the fuel lines by the tank for dry rot, and i would bet timing chain and cam gear are junk. These generations used plastic teeth on the gear
yeah engine could use a freshen up lol or cram one of my 383's into it , really want to diesel swap it but for now I got a 8 inch rough country lift kit for it and Im trying to find some bigger tires
These cars have approximately the same wheelbase and other dimensions that you need to set a 57 Chevy car body on it. You no shave off the original body throw away the clip and everything else. Choose the 57 CHEVY car body of your choice of style and slap it on there. Really kick off the purest. It could be a future project if you want it to use the frame of this car. And just find a rustout floorboard 57 and patch it up that would work too. The other thing is check to see how much shaft play you have in your distributor. For some reason this video kept blacking out on me like a bad TV. So I stopped watching it I'll try it later. I had that problem with a number of small block Chevys back in the day. Hey I'm not saying I'm an expert on anything. But I still have a 1980 Impala four-door I called the grey ghost and I bought that thing out of salvage yard about 1987. Low mileage Grandma had pulled out in front of somebody in town. The took her license from her her family junk the car. Junkman sold a 305 fuel-injected engine out of it. We put a built 4-bolt main 350 out of a truck and a 400 turbo because we want pull a trailer. We never got around to putting a hitch on it. I was going to use it to move across the country and well I let Mom drive it and she liked it so much I sign the title and left the keys on the table with a note. Drom old truck and my mom went on to 100,000 miles on that car. It's a little tired but it still runs and drives. So it's a great candidate to put my bottom Rusty 57 Chevy body on it. Just a thought because I'll probably never get around to doing it. Recently subscribed to your channel and I'm enjoying it. Those distributors caps used to give us trouble. It has is what we called a pickup coil in it well it usually gave your trouble at highway speeds and it was intermittent.
