Thank you for posting this video. Ive been looking everywhere trying to find out how to do this.
Thank you this helped alot .
Awesome, keep buying the wrong switch, finally found the right one and it's $38, no way, I'm doing it your way
Very nice tutorial!
Thanks very much..just fix mine😉
Outstanding thanks
The small one is for power lock, so just bypass the big one, otherwise the fuse #17(locks) will blow and power locks will not work
Just put a fuse in between the 2 plugs
How do you turn off your dome light if you don’t want them on period
Dunno, buy the teardown book from an auto supply vendor and try to look there.I would say pull the fuse but it may kill power to other parts of the vehicle as well.
I meant to say just drive they will turn off themselves even if the door ajar is on
Or just pull the bulls out that's the easiest common sense way
uhmm.. couldn't you just put a paperclip in the actual door ajar connector and tape it up? the other connector goes to the door lock actuator i think?
After doing this, power locks don't work anymore.
Mine do,make sure there are no other wires connected to your lock.
How do your doorlocks work if the power is unplugged from them
you just got rid of some over engineering
Too much out there sometimes.
