Curlinda, I am a new subscriber, I have been binge watching your videos, your food all looks SO good, and I love how simple you make the instructions and the energy and enthusiasm you have about the meals you make your family.
One thing I have been very interested in is your "40 weight" gravy. I have never been very successful with gravy. But one gravy in particular I would really love you to demonstrate on your channel is how to make great tasting 40 weight TURKEY gravy with or without drippings. I would love to have a great tasting thick gravy to serve with my Thanksgiving, Easter or Christmas turkey. And I would love to be able to make that gravy without the drippings later on to use with hot Turkey sandwiches.
Would you consider making a newcomers dream come true and teach me how to make awesome, thick and yummy turkey gravy? Please?
Many thanks, and thank you so much for sharing all these delicious meal tutorials.

I would have had this over (or to the side of) mashed potatoes. I am guessing that I grew up a bit further north than you...or at least than your Mom and Grandma, It looks delicious either way and I do use rice more than my Mom did.

Rice is a southern thing. We eat rice like most northerners eat mashed potatoes

Just curious, I know that you use oil over just like we did when I was growing up. Is this hamburger old something that you save? I cannot remember for sure, but I don't think that was one that we saved. I know that we save bacon grease for all kinds of cooking deliciousness and then use Crisco for fried chicken, then would save for several uses..more chicken or even some other things!
