I like the acrylic painted one because it looks like a finished painting. I'm drawn to it more. Using the water color crayons on the watercolor painted one really elevated that one for me. Again, it looks more finished and painterly which is what I like.
I agree that we paint what we like. Your idea of showing 3 different versions is a way to spark our imaginations to "think outside of the box" of our set ideas . I like all 3 versions 😊
I didn’t think I would like the acrylic one because I thought the collage would get lost, but I do like the effect of the three layers of media. After focussing my creativity on mostly card making for the past few years, I’m trying to break out and try something new. I have done a couple of photo transfers (thank you for showing me how!) but I could have a go at painting over them. I’m inspired to go and take some photos of local landmarks in my town and see what I can do with them. Thank you again!
Thank you so much Nitsa, I really enjoyed your video and your creativity too. For me I think the one not painted is the best one of all. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
I do love the unpainted one the most but also appreciate the vibrance in the acrylic one. The watercolor doesn’t look bad at all. I like the colors you went with and it also looks more subtle than the acrylic. 🫶🏼✌🏼
Fun opening, Nitsa! What a great technique. Love your backgrounds! I really love the watercolor one, yet for letting you know what I think, the sky distracts me because the style doesn't seem to fit with the rest of it. Perhaps because it is next to the ones with a more bold sky (?). The bloopers are so cool and fun. :) Thank you, Nitza. :)
I think you're the only one who noticed the different opening! I didn't think about it but you're right about the sky not fitting with the rest of the image. maybe that's another thing that bothered me about the watercolor painting. Thank again for sharing your lovely thoughts 🥰
@@NitsaCreativeStudio Your opening is so alive with it's color and paint. That is what I think of your art overall, it's alive! :). Absolutely, there is always something else to learn, and it helps all of us!
I have learned so much from you. Everything I try doesn’t always work out for me because I’m still learning how to do the photo transfers but it sure is fun! 🎉Thank you for another great video. P.S. I think all three are good from this video. I can’t decide… but you better believe I’m going to try the ripped painted paper underneath the transfers!
They are all very unique and pretty. The intense with crayon is perfected now! 🖍️It only needed some light and definition. The Caran de Ache are fun to work with I use them often with my watercolor to add opacity and light. Keep creating!🖍️🖌️🎨✏️🖋️✒️🙂🎈
I totally agree! They are awesome! and thank you for your comment, I'm always looking forward to reading your insightful comments. So I smile when I see a comment from you 🌞
I liked the watercolor one more. To me, the acryl painting is to "loud" if you know what I mean. Art is divicety so is taste. In my opinion there is no ugly. Your videos are very inspiring and I took already a lot of your technic and involved it into my technic. Thank you so much.
Hi Nitsa…love the acrylic because it looks like original art. The second version of the watercolor is a close second for me. The unpainted one is good too though…but my advice? I know everyone says do what you love…I say…do what sells, if you appreciate the affirmation a sale brings. To me…nothing like it. My “art” is home renovation for resale…when someone loves what I have done to a house, it is the best feeling…and may not be what I would do in my own house. Your on-screen personality is the best, btw.
I appreciate the art of home renovations so much! I think in my next life I would like to be an interior designer! And yes, in Art too, validation is often important. Even when you only create for yourself, it's really nice when someone else enjoys your work. Thank you Susan 💕🌞🌷

If your heart says to paint, do it. The collaged transfers will scream unfinished to you until you add your touches. I think transfers are brilliant because it is a real memory but with your own artistic spin!

I'm not sure, my guess is that it won't work with gel medium, but it might work with heat transfer. However, I read that inkless prints don't last, they fade over time as they are effected by changes in light and temperature.
Nita’s, I love your creativity. I have a question. I tried your image transfer using inkjet photo with matte medium and it did work but the image looks milky. Even after I rolled off the paper it is not clear. I’m planning to paint on top of it so I don’t want to apply varnish yet. What am I doing wrong?
You're not doing anything wrong, sometimes it's hard to get rid of all the paper (make sure you use the thinnest paper you can get your hands on) without applying the varnish. But sometimes the paint itself helps to get rid of the paper just like the varnish will. so, give it a try. Otherwise, I will try to coat the inkjet print with fixative before transferring.

I agree, but I think if the acrylic could get back some of its black definition with ink pen or whatever it would be better.

How will this technique work with photos of people?

Why do you mirror the image before printing?
Because the image gets transferred in reverse onto the surface.
