    "If I have any abilities". Aww, Nitsa the fact that you are so very sweet and sunny., would be enough. You make people feel happy and good but you have far more abilities than that. I love your black and white images. I've been working and black and white (and colour!) since the 1970s. It makes more skill to create a striking image than in colour. The area you live in lends itself to strong, vanishing viewpoints. They are very dramatic. Where I live, we don't have that sort of architecture, ours is Victorian and Georgian. It has beautiful buildings but not many long vistas . The nearest places mean a two hour each way, public transport journey. That's half a day gone! Still, I think I shall have to make the effort, you inspired me.

      Sounds good!! I think no matter where you live, it's difficult to make striking images of the familiar. But I'm definitely happy you're inspired and I'll be interested to see what you come up with. Oh and thank you so much for your kind sweet words 🥰

    I love your videos! Thank you so much. I also bought your book and read it in one go. I experiment with image transfer quite a bit and came across some things that you probably know. First, the paper you do your laser copies with, does matter. A slightly thicker 24lbs paper gives much better results than a “normal” paper. Also: you can use the same (!) laser copy for multiple transfers! They get less crispy over time but that might add to the mood.

    • @NitsaCreativeStudio
      @NitsaCreativeStudio  3 месяца назад

      Actually, I didn't know I can get more than one transfer per laser copy 😅 but I had to try it right away and you're right!! And like you said they are not as crisp as the first one but still, that's so cool, and I have no idea how I never thought about it. So, thank you so much for this tip, Stefanie, you are awesome!! 🥰

    I like all the prints you do... 🙂 I so want a laser printer but I read they are not very healthy, so I probably won't buy one. I found a way though how it can work with inkjet printers: I used a normal print paper, 90 mg or so I think, or you can use also higher mg, and put a transparent foil/film onto it with glue, and sprayed hair spray on it, onto the foil side of course, made sure it was not too sticky and sort of dry when putting it into the printer, then took it through the printer, and it worked, the color was on the film, then I made a transfer onto the paper where I wanted it to be on. but it is important that the spray is not too sticky so it won't hurt the printer.
    I just wanted to give you people a tip, how this can be achieved with an inkjet printer as well, so it works as if it was done with a laser printer (cause the laser printer is another way the ink comes onto the paper, it rather sits on the paper while with inkjets it is more or less injected into the paper, but that won't work with a transfer so much. 🙃😉, yet when the ink sits on the foil, it is almost the same thing as with a laser printer.) Also, laser printer are due to not be sold anymore, as I have read somewhere... 💌

    • @stefaniekappel
      @stefaniekappel 3 месяца назад

      I do inkjet printer transfers regularly. There are multiple ways to do this. One is to lay the copy face down onto your paper and spray the back with water. Let is sit for a while. The water will loosen the ink and dislodge it onto the paper. Carefully lift the copy paper from the gelli plate and you should see your print out transferred. This does not work with all printers but it does with Canon. Alternatively, you can just add any plastic to a normal copy paper with some Celli tape. Print onto the plastic and transfer to the final paper (not gelli plate). No need for hairspray. I use plastic folder pouches or these plastic dividers you use in your binders. You can just wipe them off and reuse. Works great with monochrome prints, less well with colors.

      Hi Manuela, thank you so much for sharing your process. I have done something similar in the past, but I haven't used foil or tried hair spray which is a great idea! I used acrylic spray, but my guess is that hair spray will be cheaper and more available. So, I think I will give your method a go and see how it works. BTW if you're interested in seeing my method you can check out this tutorial: ruclips.net/video/ssSkr8E8Emw/видео.html Thanks again 🥰
