A good tip for everyone to check out are midi editors. If your song isn't in the note range of about 39 notes, you can't play certain sounds Midi editors come in handy in these situations, you can delete bass fragments or move certain parts an octave higher, so that it works in webfishing. I did that with K.K Crusin' you played at the end and mine doesn't skip notes like these (11:28)
this is a smart way to go about the limited range on the guitar, there are some quick ones you can use in your browser like online sequencer i believe. if your using midi play, you can mute the drums and bass if they are separated to different channels as well. potato midi uses the meows and pitches them to expand the range, but the higher the pitch the quieter it seems to be unfortunately.
@@Pomodorosan if your playing manually well enough that people don’t even realize it your doing something right, i believe it to be far more enjoyable doing it that way then just downloading something and hitting play. at the end of the day, do what makes you happy. i think they both have there places, it’s way faster to just constantly be playing stuff with a midi since you don’t need to save any chords. if you are playing manually the work (and time) itself is what makes it more enjoyable.
The guitar for this game was one of the things that pushed me to buy it; the fact that I could most real chords I would play in real life and save them and play songs and such was so cool

It seems that whenever I try to play a song, whether I downloaded one, or some of the songs that come pre-installed, there are notes missing from the song, or the song is in a far higher octave than it should be. I'm in 1920x1080 windowed, is there something else I could be missing?
there shouldn’t be anything besides needing the correct resolution. i’m not entirely sure what is happening in your case unfortunately. you can give the alternatives a try if the problem persists, but i believe that’s really all i can say to help you out.
honestly i've found most of the songs i use just by looking up [song title] midi, a lot of sites have free downloads. VGmusic is good for any video game music

it might be the midi your using has too much going on. if that’s the case, sometimes the game can’t really handle the amount of notes that are being played, resulting in audio issues.
Nah, im not donating to guitar players if you just can do this and instantly get 5k hours of experience. Like it took me about 3 hours just to learn marry had a little lamb.
@ make sure you have the mods and the dependencies for the mods installed. also make sure midi loop is getting data, when something is playing through midi play midi loop should pick it up and show the bytes.
@@belor7159 if your getting the data, midiplay and loopmidi are likely working. make sure that all your mod stuff is situated, i’d give hook line and sinker a try, it handles gdweave for you and it can load mods in easily.
@@soap07230 im not entirely sure what this problem could be, I havent ran into it or really understand what could be happening. It sounds like a problem with loopmidi not making the ports though, so I would mess with that first if I were you.

make sure your looking at the output ports rather then the input ports
