What an amazing review! Thank you so much! I love the parts you decided to play for the demo. Speaks a lot to me. Also perfect amount of introduction and history and you've really showed some insights into this amazing bass. Looking forward to getting one myself!
Thanks for the video. I love my Starbass5. When I want something old skool sounding compared to my Spector Euro5 LX TW I go with the Starbass with flats.
😂😹🕹Sweet sound, and being connected to a friend and colleague through an instrument like that has got to be a special experience. Having started on an EB-0 in 1978 as a high school freshman and only getting a standard scale in 2001 or so, I had a lot of experience on the short scale. No way I can argue with those who do great things with the short and mid-scale, but I was so glad to my hands which are pretty big, onto the larger instrument.
I'm a left handed piano player wanna--be which is why I watch your videos. This was cool to learn about the tone, but damn, I need to develop my ear. It's better than when I started piano two years ago, but I envy musicians. I';; look at the musicians you mentioned, as well as bands you are in.
Thank you very much for this beautiful and interesting presentation because I would love to buy this bass in fretless version. The only thing that would make me hesitate would be the weight. Could you tell me what his weight is? 🌻
Having a bass used bass that has a history, a story behind it it really cool

Dang, that intro was flippin' amazing!!
Dave Roe and Michael Rhodes both left us last year, monster shoes to fill! Happy to see that bass landed in your hands!!
Monster shoes indeed. I'm very grateful to have this bass and to have gotten to see both of those guys play quite a bit.

Looks like that bass has amazing playability! Sharp looking as well!
Hi Ryan. I love mine also. I like Half Rounds on mine. Love the feel and the tone. See you at the Bootcamp.
Good looking combo
