On paper vs actual play sometimes it is given different results. Just like when i use emma/pepper. Emma actualy give more dmg than pepper in my team comp. Imo the tier list is a bit confusing rn. I hope the next tier list update for make it better.
The only nick pick I have with the tier list assessment on some of the characters is that you guys failed to factored in Recycler classes and manufacturer upgrades and equipment stats. I'll give an example. In the review, it is stated Aria is weird with Class Attacker with underwhelming damage and her kit has more buffing and shielding for allies than any offense capabilities. It's because it makes it easier to pick her over other characters that lacks Attacker / Tetra manufacturer upgrades. For example, if you are Lv40 in Attacker along with Tetra upgrades at Lv35, you're not going to use someone that is still a defender Lv5-10 and/or manufacturer at Lv5-10. Let's also not forget that Attacker equipment has more attack bonus over a defender gear. Not all class gear are created equal.
Not sure if i would put scarlet in the top of the tier list. While on paper she's the best dps hands down (thanks for the field test work btw, you guys are amazing ), the fact that she's on the pilgrim faction makes her entrance into mid/late game hazardous. I'll explain myself: -Player A,the meta slave, wants to start with Scarlet after looking on your tier list. He keeps rerolling and lucky him, he finally got his scarlet. He starts playing, go further into the game, and finally hits a wall when his scarlet hits lvl 80. In order to keep progressing with her he'll need dupes, and gl with that since she's pilgrim. -Player B enter the game: He goes for Privaty, who isn't as good as Scarlet but she does her job really well. Good on him, she's given for free, and since she's on Elysion you can add her on the wish list so you can get her way easier than Scarlet, increasing the chance to not hit a wall at lvl 80. So while on paper Scarlet>Privaty, i'd rather have a lvl 120/160/200 Privaty than being stuck with a lvl 80 Scarlet. (Unless whale ofc ) Is my reasoning wrong or not ? idk i haven't played the game yet but with info i get from you guys aiming for Scarlet is really risky.

Liter supremacy! Cd burst cooldown all the way! For me, Dolla, Liter, Volume, Rapunzel and... Vesti. Yes Vesti because of her burst skill. -5 second burst time(for all allies). For PvP, Privaty is a must.

I think mihara is heavily underestimated.She is literally your stage clearing queen for f2p (plus the only burst 3 with rapi in SR)she got all the aoe dmg in the world(idk why but all the characters in D tier have aoe so is it because the tier list is based on boss battles or single target that they are all In D tier?)and I think her abilities are badly explained or the descriptions are just wrong compared to my testing. For me once she does her burst she basically has a "permanent" attack buff because it refreshes once you use ANY burst skill not just hers (you have time in 30 secs)and once she does her burst again after her 40sec cooldown (which is long but like most burst 3) she does EVEN MORE DMG and has an increased crit rate on her dmg (only for the burst idk why but there is no "highway to hell 2" buff or I didn't see it on my testing so description is probably wrong i only saw that the ult was critting and thought she maybe had increased crit rate on the dmg of the burst skill ) In shooting range of union she did more damage than rapi (not much but still)and she had a smaller bond lvl and her lvl and equipment were also worse(I had her on auto and she had burst priority because she needs to burst first no atck buff or cooldown refresh buff support) The only thing really bad is that you get -5 secs on the full burst mode but the aoe dmg compensates if you have a lot of enemies on field(she was especially useful for that ex stage with the suicide ships in chapter 5 because you can control when the burst comes out and wipe out all the ships at once) I don't know how you tested it or if she was changed for release or if she is just bugged but that's basically my experience with her.
Just a heads up, Pilgrim NIKKE can't be pulled in tutorial gacha (the free 10x). Unless that's changed as well. Pilgrim members are Scarlet, Snow White, Noah, Rapunzel
Based on my own testing on the campaign, if you're 1 point below recommended power you will most likely fail, if you're 1 power above you'll most likely succeed, so it matters, therefore all the units that have a max of 16007 stats are top tier. Which are 7 units, Rupee being one of them. EDIT : Based on the replies your comp does play a part in you being able to complete stages under the recommended power, you can not use burst skills at all and clear 95% (I've had two stages fail) of stages if you're one point of power over the recommended. So those 7 16007 units are still top tier for clearing.
Depends greatly on your team make up. I can clear Campaign missions being 100 to 300 below the power threshold. I cleared HM Camp 0 final boss at just under 200 shy of recommended power. Usually only run into issues with being below power when it comes to very last boss of the map if it's a multi-phase boss (i.e Ch5 last boss). Number gap gets even larger in Simulation. Stage 2 - A group I'm usually 1 to 2k behind the power recommendation. By time I get to C group I'm usually even further behind. Only getting stuck on final boss of group C.
Going to reroll for Volume and any good burst3 unit (probably Drake). Then use Volume for b1, Diesel (until I get a better replacement) for b2, and Drake and Rapi for b3. Replace Rapi with Privity when we get her. Then just fill the last spot as needed depending on what I get from pulls. Since Scarlett being Pilgrim will probably have to go in the "level up machine" anyway, getting her randomly later to add to the team will be fine.
@@gagahh.p9119 there's a building in the base that you can put unleveled units into and it basically makes them the level of your highest 5 units. So you really only have to ever have 5 units leveled at a time. Pretty much every afk/idle game has this function
I am confused, but maybe someone can help me: Ludmilla is placed as an SS tier unit, yet neither the reroll guide nor the meta teams mention her. So, if she isn't useful in actual gameplay, why put her so high up?
Because she aint meta, the actual meta are liter and centi and the rest are pilgrim. Basically meta goal can only be reached with ultra luck or whale and nikke ia expensive af.

Why not go through every unit though (SS-A)? The biggest thing for these new players are seeing if the hero they like is any good. Even more so when they are new and didn’t have access to the pbe or prior knowledge. I understand you may not have wanted to make a long video but I feel this was a wasted opportunity. Did they re-balanced most of the Nikkes in this latest version? Since during the CBT2 (can't say I maxed them out, given the limited pulls we got there) the top units like alice, soline, guillotine, snow white, drake are strangely not in SS tier, while they are absolute monsters during CBT2.

Hey Timaeus! I have a question about burst skills. Between Liter and Volume, who's burst skill would you prioritize in Auto? I am using them in the same squad and am trying to figure out which order they'd best fit in. My opinion right now is Liter before Volume but I can also see how the increased Crit Rate may prove useful when getting kills.

there are three units i see in the game that has the skill of lowering the burst skill cd. I wonder if this skill can stack?
