      Im just going to say INSTA FLASHLIGHTS. 2 weeks, i dont remember which year it was, but for 2 weeks all flashlights and stuns would make you drop a survivor without any timing. so you could blind the killer in the old long pickup animation, than run away, the killer can already see again and than drops the survivor. Before that it was timing based and everyone was calling for flashlight nerfs, and their repsond was to remove the trouble of making flshlight saves. That is the kind of developers we have

I'll never forget how flashlights were nerfed and Hag was buffed immediately after that. They're pretty pathetic and they don't play their own game.

      well, Victor was able to down someone injured and continue going for another but well, the first hit was gonna make you a m1 killer for a long time if Victor was the first to injure someone, but if Charlotte do, then is M1 for the first hit of the chase, then Victor, so a lot of time just for the first hit, now its the opposite, Victor can do the first hit without loosing control of him so you can injure multiple survivors before latching someone, so the main gameplay is using Victor to injure and down survivors and Charlotte mainly to hook people. So well, they change more or less 1 thing, instead of latching someone with the first hit, now its the second hit, with only that the twins are now a lot more stronger, they also added the ability to not get kicked if you successfully hit someone and also it seems like you only loose speed after a hit for half a sec? then run super fast to reach the survivor in 1 or 2 sec, i think that part is unnecessary op@@HardrugsOfficialTube

      İ have them at p59 but idk man. All they had to do to fix them was the wake up and unbind animation not taking 3 seconds. The reason they were so sluggish was the cooldown between switching to Charlotte and Victor was a very big time waste. So what i would do to change was keep their unbind/switch CD buffed like in PTB but victor cannot detect downed survivors with killer instinct so this way its harder to slug

      I hate ‘em, all the strategy and mingames are gone now. Vic is the OP killer and Charlotte is just there to pick up the survivors. We just wanted shorter cooldowns and to be able to recall victor when he’s idle, not this fucking monster. They should keep the cooldown buffs but reverse the changes to Victor, he should still attach like usual when survivors are injured AND KEEP THE HASTE SO IT’S EASIER FOR CHARLOTTE TO REACH A SLUG BEFORE IT GETS PICKED UP!

      I was actualy thinking of another change to them, but im not to sure if it could be kinda busted...: if Victor is still bound to you, you can order Victor at pallets and Gens to damage them (it's a bit slower). You can then press while he is in the animation and while you can move to let Victor stay in sleep Mode at the gen, or if you press nothing he runs after you gets back in to you. Also if you play Victor you get the ability to damage Gens and pallets. Don't know if that is more busted but I think this could be a fun change

    I think they are missing the mark here, the dynamic with this sort of character should be the small fast one that does little damage and the slow big one that does massive damage. It just feels like victor is the real killer and charlotte is just the taxi driver.

      but to be fair vik is charlotte's power. It's what makes her a strong killer. If she's forced to M1 solo she is weak. That's the case for several killers.

    For this to work:
    1): Latching on for the 2nd attack is fine. It removes Victor from play for a short time, and stops the killer from chaining a series of slugs against the survivor party.
    2): After Victor successfully hits a survivor, injuring them, Victor should be open to getting kicked. Either that, or he should be significantly slower for a brief period of time to allow the survivor to make distance as they normally would.
    3): Charlotte does not need haste buffs. She is slow, and Victor is fast. That's how they play.

      Just some things I would do, make Victor cool down after hit bigger, make him vulnerable to kick after successful attacks, but I think Charlotte should keep the 10% haste, just because it is fun.

      I think the haste is fine since it there to give an incentive to hook after a down and since you're downing someone who's usually pretty far away from you.

      Not being able to kick Victor after a succesful hit was made so killer is not being punished for getting a hit. It would be better if you could kick Victor that is charging his pounce instead - it would be difficult to use in closed quarters but with the transition buff you would be able to jump from one twin to another (kinda like Singularity with biopods) to compensate that.

      They rework the killers that are part of dlc and they can make money off of. They may buff them for a bit, but then revert after they’ve benefited from the up surge in purchases.

    Actually it feels like Twins now is stronger than Nurse. When you playing as Nurse it at least requires some skill to injure the survivors and it’s possible to outplay her in some structures and win some time dying corner. But this twins… no matter what you do you straight up dead in 10 sec.

    I've always said that an easy way to buff the twins is to make it to where when Victor latches onto a survivor, that survivor will go into a hardcore mend status effect. Nothing you can do to stop the mend progress bar from going down while vics on your back so you are forced to remove him or you will be downed. This way survivor can't keep victor hostage. I'd say doing something like that and keeping the quick teleport back to each twin cause lets be honest everyone loves how fast the unknown teleports so why not keep it for twins.

    My suggestion would be to have a power limit or timer, similar to Oni in his blood fury. Pounces would deplete the meter faster like demon dash/strike does. Would make sense lore-wise, since they're conjoined twins and Victor could only survive outside of Charlotte's body for so long.

    I suggest making a video “what’s that sound” cause dbd never really explains what the sounds (hex totem being cleansed, boon totem sound) like yeah you usually figure them out the more you play, but there’s one sound I still don’t know what it is XD

      lol I work for a living and typically only have 2 hours a week I can spend actually playing a game so I’d rather not have it spent being spam killed by a broken killer 🤷 I die enough as it is but at least most matches I can make it to a loop

    hear me out- to balance it add in an item throughout map similar to vaccine or turret
    Baseball Bat- survivors can use this mid victor leap in a quick time skill check like that of gen or healing to smack victor out of air. a good blocks the attack, a great yeets victor into oblivion. spawn like 5 throughout map, each bat gets 3 uses before it breaks, they dont respawn

    So from what I've seen so far, here's what would make sense as a change:
    Every time Victor pounces someone, he latches on, regardless of health state. If the survivor was healthy, they go to deep wounds and are incapacitated while he's attached. If it was an injured survivor, he holds them on the ground and they're still broken for the duration. However, Charlotte only gains the haste buff when Victor is crushed from a missed attack or when kicked off a down survivor. It makes for more of a two-pronged attack style while still offering versatility whenever Victor gets crushed. If we're just going to rely on Victor doing damage repeatedly, we may as well go back to the old model, because at least that one was less problematic.

      My example wasn't a 100% fix. Clearly if there are additional tweaks to timings/cooldowns etc then that makes sense as well. I was speaking in a broader change to how they work on the PTB at the moment.

      I'm so close to P100'ing Twins and it looks like I won't ever be playing them again lol. They're going to get gutted before live release if they want to push forward with this rework, and they're no longer going to be the killer I know and love playing 😒

    Maybe making him kickable after a successful hit instead of only missed ones? Making him only useful for a quick hit OR a down? I'm not sure tho

      yeah i think that could be a decent change. It really feels overkill that you can't kick him. It isn't like it is hard getting that injure either. Easy injures with capability of downing, but you get some kind of counterplay/distance away.

    good call about the deep wound. Wouldn't surprise me if MFD reappears as well
    another thing might be to like give a recoverybonus once victor is crushed. To make sure they either go for the downed surv or lose it completely

    One thing i dislike about the Twins. Theyre called the twins. But you primarly only use Victor for the majority of your chasing. Charlotte only patrols and hooks. Wish the two were more evenly used during chases

    so ik they don't wanna go back on any of the changes they made so here are some ideas that would HELP fix him without reverting the changes. i feel like one thing they could do is have victor not necessarily put ppl in the dying state but have him hold them down witch would look like the dying state so if someone kickes him off of someone they get back up but if charlotte gets there they can still pick em up. ik i said (without going back on any changes) but victor needs to have a longer chageup for his attack, bc you really just can't do anything this lets ppl actualy loop him like with actual loops. they also need to at least stagger after hitting someone so the person has time to get some distance like they normaly would. i think a good way to put it would be charlotte should be slower but have a good valt/brake pallet speed and victor should be fast but stagger and have a vary slow valt/brake pallet speed

      The victor charge time is give and take, it being how it is is honestly perfectly fine, the problem stems from the fact that his cool down after attacks is bugged and shorter than it's supposed to be

      No we're really not... I would have rather they left twins the way they were, because now BHVR is going to have to nerf the hell out of them before they hit live (rightly so... because this is absurd), and now twins is going to just be worse than they were before the rework.
      I really hope they just admit they eff'd up and abandon this rework like they did with the basekit unbreakable and mori PTB a while back.

    I think they either have to nerf the lunge cooldown OR they make it so you can no longer hold victors lunge indefinitely like the huntress, make it like wesker or Billy where you have to let it rip once its full charged.

    There are still hordes of bugs on the ptb. Dead Harding makes you T-pose, the DS animation doesn’t even have a shard of glass in their hand so they stab the killer with air, and get dropped half a second later, and Twins are uncounterable. Being a ‘strong oppressive killer’ is cool and all but you literally cannot do anything to counter twins right now. You can’t kick victor after he hits you anymore so it’s just running around until he downs you and he moves so fast he’s unloopable. Saying killer needs something like this is just ignorant bc this far and away the strongest killer in the games history.

    They shouldn’t have made the charge up for pounces so quick, they need to have it be slower, it’s making Victor way too strong to be able to pretty much pounce, injure, pounce, down back to back in such quick succession. Like they need to also add a way longer animation upon hitting a survivor, otherwise Victor just has permanent save the best for last. They might also need to add some sort of stamina mechanic for Victor.

      Stamina would be good, give him a "lifeline" meter thats just an amount of time he can be out at once before returning and going on cooldown. You can use it all to hold a survivor down or walk across the map quickly, or some combination of both

    Here's my idea:
    Victor gets a wall hang that grows in power as it is chained; the first pounce cannot actually injure or down a survivor, he just bounces off. He slides down the wall slowly, making it pay to be quick with your pounces.
    Victor latches onto injured survivors, but after 5-6 seconds, you can take control of Victor again and make him lunge off (with no safety unless he jumps onto another survivor.) The latched survivor doesn't know if Victor is active, but pulling Victor off your back causes the lunges aim to be very shakey.
    Hitting an injured survivor causes a status called stunned, where the survivor is lying on the ground and can be picked up by Charlotte, but can recover very quickly. Victor can mount a stunned survivor to start maiming them, building up a meter to turn it into the dying state. The survivor has to do Skull Merchant QTEs to fight Victor and pull him off. Getting maimed is a permanent status that makes them much easier to slug by Victor later.

    If twins makes it to live build shes gonna be a demon. One thing to add when you down with victor I could be wrong but I dont think they can pick themselves up while hes on there back so they need someone to kick him off before they can unbreakable or use exponential

    Not sure if it would be possible or a good thing, but what if on the second hit victor does still pins survivors to the floor but if someone kicks him off before charlotte get there the pinned survivor gets back up but charlotte still has the haste boost.

    The answer is simple: Give Trapper all his traps at the beginning and have Makeshift Wrap be basekit. Make the addon give a 60sec Blind debuff after getting freed. Have the Trapper Sack addon give Broken for 90sec and see their aura for 3sec after freed. BOOM! Twins fixed

    You could keep the other buffs like the charlotte speed boost on latch, but go back to pre-buff latch on first hit. it would prevent instant downs, but still make it overall a better experience for the killer.

      I get where you're coming from, but that doesn't really fix anything either... If Victor misses, he can just keep coming for you until he hits you... So either way you're taking away counterplay from the survivor because twins won't really be punished for missing a hit...
      This will just change it from "Oh Victor sees me, I'm going down" when healthy to "Oh Victor sees me, I'm going down" when injured... Which is kinda what he is right now... But at least right now you can punish him for missing his hit, your suggestion would take that away.

      Thoughts on what they could do with twins rework… 1.) remove the kicking Victor buff. If anything they should reverse it to if he misses you cannot kick him, if he does hit then he can be kicked. 2.) the 10% haste after downing a survivor is probably not all that needed but does feel nice 3.) they should either make it to where he latches when healthy and they can’t hold him hostage or if they are keeping it the way he is, his cooldown needs to be higher after successful hits. 4.) I personally think everything else is fine. The transfer is fine and the victor holding down is fine.

    I think on the second hit, victor should latch onto the survivor like he used to on a healthy one, inflicting them with hindered and incapacitated. You could even add some others like exhausted or mangled with add ons. With Charlotte's speed boost and the reduced delay, I think it could work.

    I get the idea they're going for, but obviously it's now way too easy to just down someone very quickly with Victor.
    One possible way to adjust this might be to make Victor go through three hits to down someone instead of just two (kind of like how Nemesis takes three hits with a whip or Unknown takes three hits with its goo). So for example they could have it where if Victor hits a healthy survivor they become Injured, if he hits an Injured survivor they go into Deep Wounds, and if he hits a survivor already in Deep Wounds they go down. That would increase the time it takes for Victor to secure a down by 50%, basically.
    And if that's still too powerful, then they could also increase the cooldown after he disappears so he's out of play for a longer period of time.

    To balance them,
    Victor does inflict damage on the first pounce and on the 2nd pounce he grab onto them like before the buff. And they set a time for Charlotte to get over there before survivor gets victor off their back. That 2nd pounce inflicts deep wound. And victor speed should be lowered a bit and his attack cooldown should be increased a bit.
    That's my opinion of making them balanced.

Survivor has to get rid of victor like how they get rid of cenobites chains. And after that, they might run away and mend their deepwounds.     Just remove the protection on Victor after first hit and give endurance to the survivor hit. That way it more encourages Victor to find another target.

      I actually like the idea of giving the survivor the endurance effect and keeping Victor's protection. You take away the protection and twins just goes back to the way she was before but weaker. The endurance effect is actually a good idea, make it a long endurance effect like 20 seconds so Victor can't just wait it out so easily.
      This would, as you said, encourage Vic to go for other survivors instead of getting almost instant downs, while keeping this new iteration of twins.

    Here is a fix. Keep the old way of Victor staying on survivor after they get from full heath to injured but make them not be able to run and/or do actions when Victor is on. This would force them to get rid of Victor fast so they can move faster again and still make it not so beneficial to use Victor too faraway from Charlotte. They could even keep the new way that Victor will also hold on when you hit injured survivor so you can't use him to just slug survivors. Faster switching should be kept as the old switching speed is way too slow. The immunity to kicking is just idiotic and recalling Victor also feels little bit too easy. I would prefer that you would have to go next to him to pick him up or wait for the timer to run out like its currently.
    Like with the not able to run mechanic it would make them unique as there is no other killer who could prevent survivor movement in that degree but it still could be countered by not staying too close to Charlotte when Victor is chasing you while you are full health, because it will not really take that long to get rid of Victor.

    Keep the QoL changes to switching.
    Drop the haste.
    Victor can only backpack people regardless of health state.
    Can injure into a backpack but on injured survivor he just becomes a backpack.
    Victor gives the incapacitated status effect for like max 12 seconds while being a backpack.
    Auto removes without slowing down survivor after those 12 seconds.
    Can't slug and can't do whatever this ridiculous idea of balance is.
    Can go injure a survivor and keep them of a gen for Charlotte to catch up if released from far away.
    Can just injure when near and chase with M1 without losing extra distance over an M1 cause of faster switching.
    Twins should always have been a wombo combo like that in my honest opinion.
    Make them work together, not have Charlotte clean up after Victor.

    Just take out the speed when vik is on the surv (or make it 3% or something), make viktor slower whenever he is in his hit or miss animation, and have a timer when he is out of Charlotte, that is partially replenished whenever he hits a surv or latches onto one. He could also make the surv die faster on the ground, like he is maiming him or something, but that MIGHT be too op).

    I play Twins and even I don't want this change. It would be boring getting downs this easily. Also imo, the fun comes from the slight silliness of chasing down a survivor running around while Victor is attached to them.
    If they don't want to have Victor attach while a survivor is full health state sure, that's fine, but I would say make it to where he has down time (fatigued like how he would be if he missed) after hitting them and can be crushed during this time. This allows the player to at least have a chance to combat.
    Secondly, again mentioning the fun, slightly silly vibe, they need to keep the attach and run around mechanic. And in this patch instance, have him attach only if they are in the injured state then while they're running they have to hit skill checks and after a set duration if they succeeded, he gets throw off and crushed; if they don't succeed in that amount of time they get downed. This would allow for Charlotte to choose if they want to chase down that survivor or potentially greed and go for another person which will be a gamble because she can't guarantee that the one Victor is attached to will go down.
    This would allow Twins players to have options; "Do I play it safe and try to more likely secure a down and a hook or do I try to take the risk and start a new chase with someone while Victor may or may not get the other survivor downed."
    As for what happens after if Victor secures a down, it could be handled one of a few ways. Either he:
    1. Immediately spawns back to Charlotte (the least oppressive but arguably also blandest option)
    2. Stays alive still attached and slowing their crawl speed (like in this video)
    3. Stays alive on the ground and shows visual indicators (killer instinct) of where they are but can't attack. Would have to play around with if he should be allowed to move either (this would allow a teammate to choose between spending extra time crushing him to get rid of visuals for Charlotte or go for the revive faster)
    4. Stays alive and can then keep attacking (this would be the most oppressive of these options but not as intense as what is shown in the video. Maybe after each successive hit or down (decrease of any survivors health state), he gets progressively more deteriorated and has to respawn)

    So basicly when exit gates are powered twins can just camp the exit gates. The main killer can just block one of the doors completely as well.

    I mean I understand it’s a lot of pressure out of nowhere for the survivors granted. However I will say this, it’s the first time the survivors are gonna have to change their play style based on updates. Now they might’ve changed according to new killers, which btw is their role as “survivor”, but most of the time the killer has had to change more than survivors even for a 2k. Victor is dangerous if you panic. Not only do you get the stun on the killer by crushing victor but you have no guarantee that the main body is close. Basically as a survivor act like it’s a huntress hatchet with a lower throw point and you’ll be fine let alone if you’re smart enough to find the main body, you’ll have a lock on the game. Who cares about a gen who’s 90 percent when you know the mobility of the killer is low as long as you dodge. Granted it’s fast for victor over all but it’s genuinely not too far off of the abilities that killer would have, but nerfed majorly mind you. Let alone with all the new gimmicks the survivors have gotten. Basically it’s the same as it’s always been. Killer will adapt to prey/update. Survivor will adapt to perk/team. If you’re getting wrecked consider your team and perks. The most I’ll say is that I agree that there should be more of a cool down with victor dying as that would make sense with the character and play aspect.

      So your advice to survivors facing this Viktor who is faster, has a tiny cooldown for missing, and can down survivors is just… “get better teammates and choose better perks!”..?

    i think a really easy way to fix the twins stuff is just make u automatically go back to charlotte after one hit with Victor. to make it more about constantly switching between them and using it as anti loop, rather than Victor just being the entire killer while Charlotte just is there to spawn victor. Make those speedup switch addons partly basekit, and i bet it would feel really good to play, and would still allow some counterplay from the survivors.
    Numbers arent really what need fixed here, they have to make some sort of mechanical change.

    I think they should make so, if a survivor kick victor of someones back the downed survivor instanlly gets up and goes on deep wound.
    This way insentivises Charlote to go for the confirmed hook and survivors to rescue teamates, but also it's risky, cause victor can chain hits and make every one injurred if they are to close, if he choses not to down the player.

    Always funny to watch a character no one plays get some changes that make them great but bc nobody plays against them they don’t know the counter play so they get obliterated, naturally this is that x10 in classic BHVR style

    The way I see it there’s many things they could do to tone down victor:
    - Keep his attack cooldown the same as it is in Live servers (it’s oddly fast in the PTB) or honestly even a bit slower
    - shrink his hit box
    - Greatly nerf his movement speed after a successful attack (giving healthy survivors time to position themselves safely after being hit)
    - or they could even implement a system that only makes victor kickable when he lands an attack from closer than 2 to 4 meters away, giving survivors the distance necessary to dodge him and rewarding him for precision on further attacks while also punishing him for going for easier injuries (I know ppl feel that getting “back revved” when going against him is hard to dodge)
    They can just pick from this list honestly but victor does NOT need to go back to being kickable every time he lands an attack! It’s one of the worst feelings in the world getting punished for using ur power correctly as the twins.
    After toning him down with 2 or 3 of the previously mentioned nerfs all they would need to do is hopefully implement a swapping mechanic for charlotte to switch places with victor whenever she wants to help with slugging and map presence and I would DEFINITELY main this killer ❤
    (also maybe let victor break gens 👀 knights guards get to I don’t know why he shouldn’t be able to lol)

    more of a penalty when crushing victor, and if a survivor is down and manages to get rid of victor before it gets picked up, gain a health state (remain injured). add a "wiggle" functionality for when a survivor is downed by victor so there is a chance of doing it alone

    I mean it's funny when characters get buffed too much and get considered OP yet nurse still exists and everyone's fine with it. Then people say nurse has "counter play ". You obviously never faced a top tier nurse main you cannot do anything

    they could make it so you can only activate it near the survivor, and that survivor can hit charlotte, causing you to return to charlotte with a lengthy cooldown. Also, maybe a time limit on victor running around before he takes a "nap." Where he deactivates for a bit.

    What about a weakened state after first Victor hit, then the second does a hit and Victor latches on blinding and slowing the survivor down while revealing the aura to Charlotte. Survivors can remove Victor from the latched survivor to remove the blinded status and remove the slow

    I think it would be way cooler for victor to act as a spy, stalker that would stalk survivors and turn sister into maers tier 3. But also give them the ability to switch places with each other e.g. teleport.
    I think that there is no way to keep victor from either turning him into a murder machine or a kicking bag.
    I also find it kinda funny, how with 4k slugging is being rampant, they give reworked twins the ability to slug even more.
    An interim fix would be to give victor longer time to respawn. But with just that he can still run around and injure entire team of survivors arguably faster than legion.

    either go back to the old victor ways of injure and downing and keep the other changes, or have it be that victor hits and then latches on and gives broken and u get the haste to get the down, maybe add some slowness to the survivors if thats not strong enough, is how im predicting itll go. i also feel like its a much more counterable way of playing. but god knows with the changes bhvr has done recently...

    What about getting rid of Victor's kick protection after making that first hit? Make the survivor have to choose between kicking Victor or trying to make distance. That will also encourage twins to work together more since there's a chance Victor won't be around to make the second hit

    I like that switching time
    would like to have the other twin to be AI-bot controled...
    and both should have terror radius that's all... thus allowing to be one of the killer with the most map coverage of terror radius...
    and remove all killer instinct gimmick from the kit... allow latching of viktor both on running and downed survivors...
    so Viktor would either injure you by latching on you when you are healthy or latch at you when you are injured in downed position...
    that would always require charlotte to come.
    reduce survivor's kick animation to 0.2sec, and allow it at anytime... so they can play actually try to beat viktor anytime he come close...
    but during that time charlotte is moving...
    change the pounce attack that you get staggered only on collision with obstacles... if just miss then you just land and keep moving... like a normal pounce
    remove all those movement buff charlotte have... I would even slower her down...to the 110% with 24m terror radius and viktor with 48m terror radius...

    yeah i have no clue either. there are so many broken things about this version that they need to nerf/change. As far as double tapping. maybe a longer cooldown, with a bigger slowdown, and victor is blinded during it.
