Connecting to his brain by bluetooth is a beautiful analogy. He cant use that extra brain to micro or macro super well because if the slight delay time but his strategy is off the charts
I mean zerg has the perfect counters for shet like battlecruisers and carries cause of corrupters and put in some brood lords walla you decimated your enemy just build those 2 compositions you win
@@zinowagner pretty sure it's a remnant of old rts casting (e.g. BW). I'd like to see the hp too but from a casual audience's perspective, there's also a 'surprise/suspense factor' where you don't know how much HP a carrier has or w/e. Not necessarily better or worse, but definitely different. Kinda like how in SC2 you can see worker counts and unit production, whereas if you couldn't see those as an observer, there's a wow moment when a player does a muta switch or w/e
I love strats like this. Forcing the spire and corruptors for the carriers. Reminds me of that game where the Zerg went for Ultralisks against Protoss forcing out Immortals which would then be countered by Zerglings.
As a complete noob to the game, can you explain the strategy behind the Ravagers? I see the player always shooting the bile thingies where their opponent is but never where they are going to retreat to. Why not shoot one or two and then follow up with a lot of them just behind your initial shots and that way the bile things connect on the retreating army. Or is there a mechanic that prevents that? What's the story there?
@@demballage99 Ravagers aren't really used to damage units. They're used mainly to force micro out of your opponent. It's probably never gonna hit the Enemy so you might as well force them to move their army and maybe get some dps advantage from that.
I like units who help each other, like carrier+adept because in theory adepts help a lot with hydras and if add also archons even coruptors could have hard time

wow he used the carriers essentially like bcs for harassment...i might try it out but iono u gotta be pretty quick and essentially send your main army in one direction and carriers in the other and not sure if i got the multitasking skills to handle it....
I wish you luck!! It's a bit riskier due to their lower HP and the delay in recall's teleport. BC's are definitely superior individual attackers, while Carriers scale better as late game units. I find Carriers to be hit or miss as harassers.... Mostly miss lol.
Yeah SOS was clearly winning the entire time. Denying bases destroying most of the drones. He played cautious the entire game so he didn't forfeit his lead he made.
Carriers need a big buff. They should be able to send out the interceptors much farther like the distance Swarm hosts can send out locusts. Interceptors should be able to attack while the carriers stay 2 screens away out of the battle. Interceptors should be free. Locusts are free, why do interceptors cost minerals?
I think that map needs to be patched. It's too good to Protoss and Zerg. Because of those slowing zones, Terran is almost not able to do harassment with air units like medivac or vanshee. Also the main path to the opponent's 3rd base... it takes so much time.
Am i the only one that doesnt understand why pro players always tell the enemy what their doing? he could have done serious damage with two carriers but instead he was just there passing time and showing Rogue what he was doing so he could start making a spire

Carriers definitely seem a bit underwhelming nowadays. It seems like Zerg have the answer for them, 9 times out of 10.
