Everyone's talking about the forcefields, and I'm sitting here amazed at how those 3 collossi all survived every fight, even when the stalkers blinked away from them.
They have a high shield/health pool, so Parting was blinking his stalkers away to make use of that, then running them back in just in time to take the aggro off. When the casters mentioned efficiency, this is a part of it, using every resource to the max, including shields. Also makes the enemies think they can snag the colossi so they run in, only to be targeted by the stalkers when they come back, bearing in mind that stalkers have that bonus to armored units damage so he is guaranteed to get one or two ravagers every time that happens, reducing the units that can hit the colossi, and making the enemy retreat. At this point the stalkers also began regenerating shields, and the colossi will start again, enabling the cycle to continue. If Soo had stayed in the fight to finish off the colossi then he would likely have lost a lot of ravagers. Probably what was necessary, but not an easy thing to commit to. In short: It's a move done by a man with balls of steel, but it paid off really well.
@@ajcannQn Also because the stalkers were blinking away, their range limitation meant their next a-move automatically targeted the banelings, rather than getting locked onto roaches and then getting melted. Really sick control
@@GoblinUrNuts Vikings, yes. Corruptors, no. IMO, Corruptors don't counter Colossi as they don't have the range like Vikings do to zone/snipe out Colossi. Infestors counter Colossi with Fungal Growth, as it easier for Zerg to surround them.
They are defending the forward operating base of protoss, its not their fault that some zerg decided to call that position "my 3rd base" for some unknown reason.

After several tries, lastly at 13:16 the observer really wanted to highlight the collosi kills, but I guess tastosis know better how to emphasize the situation
reminded me of Tester. Went by Trickster in WoL or SSkS for a while. Amazing BW player and he had ffs on Metalopolis in 2010 that i had as my screensaver for like a year

PartinG is definitely the best guy from Oklahoma
Totally! Except he is not the best and not from Oklahoma)
You dun goofed!
THIS is why PartinG is my favourite player. The creative openings and the nauseatingly good micro. Always so fun to watch!
_Epic Gamer Moment_

That surround followed by godly forcefields could easily be in SC2 release trailers.
Just damn.
Game 3 was the funnest SC2 match I've ever seen. Parting's micro is phenomenal. I love how jovial he is throughout this whole thing.
11:05 Epic gamer moment
Now that’s what I call an EPIC GAMER MOMENT! Yeaahhh!!
That micro from Parting in game 3 is some of the best I've ever seen
Holy SHIT those last few fights were epic as hell, makes you feel like actual armies clashing in those hype trailers of the game.
I love watching PvZ and I love it even more when Protoss wins.
zerg tears fuel the nexus
