I just came across this tutorial. I am not a student, nor a cosmetologist. Just a frustrated woman with extremely curly hair who is always looking to learn a little more. I was amazed. Absolutely amazed at you knowledge, skill and articulation. To have one or two is a rare thing, all three is.....WOW! I have endured so many videos hoping to glean some usable information for my own purposes. I have lost count of how many I have watched. The point is that you are wonderful. I hope that you are teaching and working. It would be a shame for such a gift to go to waste.
I have Curley not super Curley white girl hair with lots of body, and every time i find someone good to cut my hair, they move, retire ect. Sick of this! Going to let it grow to my butt.

@@lindacrawford6155 girl that's what I did but decided to donate again and again that a chance. Literally the worst haircut so far. They always say they know what they are doing... 😂 Now I have sorry hair that will be shorter just so my hair doesn't stand out 6 inches boxed around my head. Someone said, why don't you go back and make them fix it? ARE YOU CRAZY?! 😮

I am 54 years old and cant count the number of perms I've had over the years. I cannot remember the last time I felt the need to cut my own hair after an appointment and before the next week started. With everything closed and crazy, I had to do something. This video was very helpful - my hair turned out cute as it should have been! Thank you
I have a mixed child, and I have cut her hair but dry. I realized I made the hair under shorter. But listening to you and watching you gave me confident to try doing it this way and wet. I have curly hair too and everyone cuts my hair too much, hate it!

This was helpful. I am natural, and surprisingly a lot of hairdressers prefer blow-drying the hair before trimming natural hair, because they say it's easiest for them. Which I disagree with. I didn't keep my appointment, because my wish of no heat was ignored.
You’re making a mistake...if you’re stylist is ignoring you, you have the wrong person...secondly, curly hair should never be blown out to be cut... NEVER

This was an incredible tutorial!! Rarely do people cut my hair this way, and I never feel happy with it 90% of the time because they don't approach my head like this. I don't know if it's because I have what they call "mixed" hair, but it never comes out the way I want. It could be because I'm not paying the big bucks for it too. :/
I feel the same way i hardly ever get a good hair cut and i have paid high prices and low prices but 95% of the time i hate the hair cut. Im tempted to start cutting my own hair with these tutorials

Do you have a tutorial on the original cut? My daughter's hair is a similar texture and I've been doing that type of cut on her. I'd love some guidance as I'm not a professional by any means, just a mom that can't afford going to a salon as often as she needs!

black veils at the disco tell your parents that you want your own unique style and you don't want to look like everyone else in your class like all the other girls when I was a kid I had short hair and I stood out from everyone else my school pictures were so cute because I had really short hair you deserve to have your own style especially being a young lady like yourself

I’ve got a 1.5 year old curly girl who had the meaaaanest bald spot across the back months 4-8 which eventually started growing back in… meaning the sides and top were already growing as the back was balding, creating now an almost mushroom 🍄 shape to her hair… trying this cut when she wakes up from nap. The crazy hair has got to go 😂😅
Aaaand we’re back, this time with my little curly haired boy who just turned one… just like with his sister, I’m doing this haircut- he suffered no bald spots (didn’t put hats on him at night…unlike his sister, poor thing). I’m sure it’ll turn out great! Thank you again!

Curly hair is usually dry so it can't be shampooed alot, at most 3 times a week but once is fine, it was probably the end of that week👍
A lot of curly haired people only wash once a week. It’s much better for our curls to retain natural oils.
