I followed your technique and I cut my relative's hair and it came out all good. Thanks really needed this. Had no idea what i was doing and you helped. My relative didn't want to go to a salon cause of the pandemic and you helped. Gracias. Thanks.
I’m not a stylist, I just enjoy watching tutorials. Very professional. The cut and style are gorgeous. I recently went from waist length to a pixie cut and I love it! My stylist is a professional and I’m grateful for her skills. She keeps me looking on point. Maybe I’ll grow my hair back out, maybe I won’t. I’m loving my cut which is very versatile.
The filming was superb! I could see every detail. I love it! Your directives were on point. Don't change your method! You are a true blessing to have come across!
We followed this and I cut my baby girls hair! She's 10 and mixed and she's had a hard time between wanting to grow it and the maintenance of it. As she's gotten older her texture has changed a lot and she's just kind of given up trying and will throw it in a ponytail 100% of the time, no matter the condition;wet/dry/tangled or not. So when we saw your video she actually got excited! I'm not a professional, just a mom at home in quarantine. Thank you so much for the inspiration and instructions! She has some more curls than your model so we made some adjustments along the way but we LOVE how it came out! 😍
I love a fresh pixie cut! You're bomb mama & your attitude is very sweet, confident but very humble NOT Arrogant. You must be a child of God! Keep going. You're a blessing to others.❤👑😊
I’m a Paul Mitchell student, I have fine straight European hair. I’m trying to learn more about different hair types so I can service every client! Thank you for the video 🥰
I appreciate your time. The tutorial was educating. I admired the explanations in between. A real hairstylist won’t hate, bcz a real one would tk what they learned from u and piece their own masterpiece. Last I thought we all got different styles of doing hair that’s how we got the “stylist” after hair🤷🏽♀️. That’s just being 💯. Anyway THANK YOU
I love the style on her honestly... Soft & full. I love the comb over full hair on the front. She doesn't look old nor like she is struggling.. #Meechie I love it
The hate is real! Thanks for gracing us with your skills. I'm a cosmetologist as well, and learned that in this industry not one stylist works the same/ we can't please everyone 😊 Keep doing you lovely!!
It’s not hate it’s just that it doesn’t look crispy.. short hair needs to be on point so it doesn’t have an old lady look to it... just constructive criticism sis no hate what so ever..
I love the video and how well you explained the steps, and also certain reasons for the do’s & dont’s . Only thing is….the way you was slapping that perm on her head 😳🫣 My scalp burning just by looking at that part🤯🤯🤣🤣🤣🤷🏽♀️ Thank you for sharing this video, it’s very helpful!❤❤❤
THIS Is sooo AMAZING Thank you for posting THIS Im Trying this I need a wig break!! Great Tutioral SISTA Her Hair is BOMB Thanks for explaining in a slowly timely manner
I'm a barber and I wud like to add a few lady clients to my workflow. I have gotten better over the years at cutting straight hair and now, after watching dis video, I can see how I can add to my skills and incorporate short hairstyles for the ladies to my portfolio. Ladies pay more also😁! Thanks for posting dis video, very inspiring💥!
This video just gave me 2nd thoughts about cutting my hair. There is nothing worse than being stuck with a bad haircut. That's a nice cut for someone in their 50s but I would have been livid if someone gave me an outdated cut like that. The cut itself isn't terrible but it's not becoming on the client at all.
Yeah I think it’s how she styled it because when she combed it in front of her face and gave it that edgy look, it looked better!! When she combed it to the side it definitely looks old fashioned. You’re right it’s not the cut it self, but I think it’s definitely the style of the cut.
Meechie you're always the bomb!!! You gave your model a versatile cut. She can do three or more different styles with her hair. I love it!!! I would want my hair to go forward or backward. I love it! Nice way to start off short for those who want a new look, but not too drastic. I enjoy watching you teach your work!!!
ain’t that the truth my mom and auntie and cousin did it the same way when I had a perm.. old school.. I’m natural now been that way 5yrs now I’m never going back to perms but anyway love you meechic! I’m a true fan of your work.. since 2012 came to a four of your hair shows..
Yea, the difference between her and your granny is that she is supposed to be a licensed hairstylist. If I were seen at my salon applying a relaxer by slapping it on, they would fire me.
SUBSCRIBE 🔥🔥🔥This video was beyond detailed. You told us reasons why you cut certain ways, chose to cut some before the relaxer, taught me how to cut hair properly & more. I loved how you didn't just name the angles but showed us exactly where the angles were. Your Presentation was amazing.... I can go on and on. I like to learn step by step, hands on.... THIS WAS EVERYTHING! I've watched thousands of tutorials but this is the BEST by far!!!!
That came out so beautiful Meechie! I will try this not a pro, but hell it's my hair and this inspired me. For the 1k that gave the 👎 y'all are just rude af, cus she killed this style. Thanks Meechie
Nobody asked for approval or disapproval from any of you! SAY SOMETHING NICE and keep it moving... I like the video and the style gives me 90s Total & i like how she doesnt ‘look’ relaxed!
Nobody asked for your approval either. Do u know if this young 20 something year old client was looking for a "90s Total look"?? You just admitted the look is severely dated. Don't see you rockin the style. Exactly.
I really hate how hard y'all go in her comments. Y'all have a right to an opinion but to be so disrespectful is unneeded as fuck. Her hair looks healthy as hell even while relaxed and although I'm not a huge fan of the style on the model, the cut still looks great and it doesn't mean that you bash her shit in the comments. Damn y'all are rude
Jasmine W Facts, but I bet you they are the main one don't have nothing going for themselves and busted. At the end of the day, Meechie is collecting her coins!!
hun I Love Meechie but this is bs. it really shows that she isn't a short hair stylist and she CANNOT!!! cut short hair. Yes I can, I can cut. Hair by Stacy essence of beauty is my fb page, I think there are a few cuts there. cz I know y'all gonna be mad but the truth hurts mama
snip tip no, nothing wrong with the truth, it's something wrong with folks coming on here being completely disrespectful. Give an opinion without being a bully.
snip tip and I actually went to check your page out. No shade but with me being a stylist as well. Your work is okay, you have much room for Improvement. I wouldn't compare your work to Meechie's We all can find areas for growth. At the end of the day, it's ones preference.
I have been following you for a long time. I love your work and your willingness to share everything you know with us all. This haircut is not only beautiful but the way you taught it makes me smile. I have been struggling with short haircutting and your tutorial is the first that helps me understand not only how but why I am cutting in a certain way in certain areas. It also helped me to understand a more precise approach in cutting short hair along with understanding molding and how to achieve the style smoothly with confidence. Thank you for all the knowledge you have shared and continue to share.
I am so nervous and scared but I’m cutting all my hair off and this time, I don’t mind getting a relaxer. Haven’t had one in close to ten years. I am ready for a new beginning and fresh start with my hair. It is so damaged due to having it pulled out and putting heat on it or simply just pulling it back tightly in a ponytail which makes my head hurt. 😞😞 love this cut and style!
So me and you are in the same boat. I haven’t had a relaxer since 2013. I want a short style similar to this one. I need a fresh start with my hair as well.
I'm a cosmetologist and went to beauty school, I'm sure when going natural to relaxed , you first my apply 1 inch away from the scalp first to make sure sure the ends are processed first , doing it in sections, after that section is changing that's when you go to the roots just so the clients doesn't burn up before the entire head is processed. We should use our own hair like we did in the 70's & 80's. Like the models on the Dark & Lovely products.

I wasn't sure about the results... The end justified the means. You are super talented. Job well done.

Your teaching skills are amazing and your model is very pretty.
Your work is so flawless 🙌🏾
This hair cut reminds me of Toni Braxton's hair style in the 90's. It is really cute on her. :)
Girl. I’m over here excited like I just got a new haircut 😂 her hair is laidttttt. Now I’m contemplating cutting my hair off again 😩
Woooow!! That's what you call art😃
I am so nervous and scared but I’m cutting all my hair off and this time, I don’t mind getting a relaxer. Haven’t had one in close to ten years. How did it work out? I want to do the same. 😬
Me too, I haven’t had a relaxer in 3 years and I’m tired of my natural hair 🙄. I’m ready for a new beginning
So me and you are in the same boat. I haven’t had a relaxer since 2013. I want a short style similar to this one. I need a fresh start with my hair as well.
MS.MEECHIE YOU ARE GIFTED,BLESSED HANDS.🤗
That was amazing! Step by step I love it
Watching from South Africa 🌍. I've just had my hair shaved and I'm pretty excited about styling my hair after seeing this 😍
That she's doing this with her long well manicured nails is amazing all itself. #skills
She ate!!! She could comb anyway she wants very versatile
That's the type of style that you have to keep up.
I know hey looks like more maintenance
Enjoyed watching this video I’m learning how to do short cuts so I can add to my services thank you for this video her hair looks fabulous
Some of yall bugging her hair came out cute!
Right ! I'm missing how this ain't cute.the back is a lil too flat imo but that's just bc I like more of a gradual length in the back
Wow! Did not see that style coming until the finish job. Great! Job, the cut looks good on her features.
I Love it meechie !!!!! thanks for the taking me back to school ... appreciate you love!!!!

Excellent work. The model looks great with that cut ❤️
Skillful as always but cutting off that much hair scared me. Cute style though
This is the second video I've seen by you and I am very impressed. You are just so professional and creative. Blessings
I love this hair cut ..learned alot!
Love the way the hair moves!! Flawless cut💋💋 thanks for the tips!!!
It seems like Bre-Z hairstyle on Empire ! Looooove it ! ❤❤❤❤❤
Bre-z cut was way shorter and more taper to her head.
I love it ! I wouldn’t be scared to get in your chair because you considered the fullness of the front
I never understood why hairstylist curl the hair then comb them out . The cut was really cute though and her makeup was on point
For body
I love it. Meechie is the G.O.A.T of haircuts and styling. Her techniques are inimitable.
im so in love with the haircut
Ugh! I love it! I’d love to have that style! Great job!!!
She didn’t just do her hair how she wanted the client told her what she wanted and I liked it I think it looked gorgeous ❤️💯
Very Lovely Hairstyle! Thank You for the tutorial. I will be trying this cut on my client today!! Love You!!
She looks like a doll baby great job! I love how you retained her texture by not going too straight! A lot of stylist don’t seem to understand retaining elasticity! I can definitely see you as an instructor 😍😍 bc the ones I had lawd bless em. I’ve been doing hair for years and went to beauty school for my state board....🤦🏾♀️. You seem very knowledgeable. New sub!!!
She should’ve kept her hair the way it was on 14:25 super cute
That hair is 💣! It looks like the Fringe wig. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!😍😍
I just wish the perm would have taken a little better . But overall cute style.
She didn't get a perm it was a relaxer
I was wondering how it was gonna come out..... Girlllll that face was perfect for that hair style!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Nice cut, I wish kept the curls in
Absolutely gorgeous haircut and hairstyle
It's cute but in the morning she going to have to go back to be flat iron again it looks like idk
That's y I barely go to salons by next day I need heat again or cant style it myself the same way
@@davialislugo4709 i hear you
What a gorgeous model 😍. Love your teaching and the cut.
Hello! You did a fantastic job on your client's hair!!
Wow, you did that. That's a beautiful cut on her.
I never seen a stylist perm hair like this....
She didnt perm it she relaxed it
A professional at work.
Great job. Love it
Now that's a cut honey!
I love her hair you did a terrific job. I have natural hair but I want to relax it as well but I don’t want the straight look. So I especially love how her hair looks so naturall. Great job😊❤
