Thank you for taking the time to explain why I could not see the option for choosing my camera under the "Develop" tab! This was driving me nuts and you are the first I've found that explained how to get it.
Right now, once you install the Adobe DNG Converter you will get option between the Luminar Default and Adobe Standard. Both are decent, the Adobe maybe less saturated and offer better base for further editing. The decision is up to you.
Please add lens profiles. I use LUMINAR HDR for all my real estate photos. However the optics and transform don't do a good job. I use a Canon RF 15-30 mm lens on a Canon RP. The HDR photos are amazing, specially lighted windows. Highlights are minimal. Just the distortion still an issue with LUMINAR. Please help
@@MarcoLugli what I do is I take the photos at 16 mm, I go to "TRANSFORM" to align ONE PHOTO, Last I go to "OPTICS", I moved the line until my verticals are aligned. I save that template and reuse it for the rests of the photos. I can edit 50 photos that way in 30 minutes. to answer your question, Luminar Neo doesn't have one Yet. I hope this helps. Martin
@@martingdiazrealtor I'm in contact with Skylum and they asked me to upload RAW files so that they can maybe add the lens profile to NEO. Another way to skip the problem is to load raw images in Lightroom that corrects the distortion, save them to tiff and apply a massive HDR MERGE into Neo. Another issue is that NEO fails quite often to group bracketed photos..- Thanks for your kind answer
@@MarcoLugli I have same issue with some bracketed photos. I just bracket those raw photos separately. im glad I found someone who uses Luminar Neo for Real Estate Photography. Wish you the best!
Ok, so I downloaded the Adobe DNG converter, installed it, closed and reopened Luminar Neo and all I see is Camera Profile Luminar Default, when I expand it all I see is "Add custom DCP" and "add DCP from DNG". What am I doing wrong??
@@CleverPhotographer Sony A7RIII, DJI Air2s but they are not showing. According to your video I should have something there other than Add custom DCP and Add DCP from DNG
In ON1 the camera profiles are specifically described as Nikon Z7II. The name of the camera Nikon is not displayed in Luminar. Is that correct, or are there other camera profiles specific to the Nikon that can be uploaded to Luminar. Thanks.
Edward, in Luminar Neo go to Camera Profiles drop down menu, go to Add Custom DCP, that will open a menu in Windows now Look for Prgram Data and click on that, next Click on Adobe, then Camera Raw, then Camera Profiles, then Camera. scroll down to your make of camera, highlight what you need and that will bring them into Luminar Neo. Hope this helps Dont forget you must have Adobe DNG Converter installed before you can do this Good Luck.
Hey Boris unfortunately I can't see any RAW in the top right corner during development, so I can't select any camera profiles. I work on MAC and have version 1.18.2 on it. The picture was taken in RAW and has not yet been processed, do you have any idea why this might be? Best regards Pierre
Hi Pierre, could you check if you are editing the RAW file or what is the format of the image? Your camera may have captured both RAW and JPEG images, so just double check the format.
Some profiles can be gained from the camera manufacturers or through additional tools like the free Adobe DNG Converter. This will depend on your camera brand and type.

Can I create and save lens correction profiles?
Unfortunately it is not possible in Luminar NEO
@@CleverPhotographer this is such a shame! Please telle them to do something about that!
Not yet. LUMINAR has not done it yet. That would be a game changer when they do that. I use LUMINAR for all my real estate photos with the HDR plug in

Can you install the colour checker passport into luminar neo
Hi Nigel, I am afraid that the answer is no. You cannot install the color checker passport right now.

Is it possible to change from Luminar default to a different profile so that it becomes the default profile when you launch Luminar NEO?
Unfortunately, it is not possible.
Can the camera profiles be found through the Photos app (in Neo) or only through the Luminar Neo standalone app?
For some reason only through standalone, it us to work via the Photos Plug-in, but I can get it to work now.
Thanks mate

I don't have an external profile section. Where to download all these profiles?
