Beatrix was run over by a cement mixer when she was 13 years old and has lived with an incomplete paraplegia ever since. With a strong will and her E-MAG Active/Nexgear Tango orthosis, she has managed to literally get back on her feet and no longer be permanently dependent on a wheelchair.
