God bless you Jesus loves you and desires a relationship with you🙏🏻 He wants you to be with Him for eternity in Paradise he died on the cross for everyone’s sins, you might ask how can I do this and it’s through reading the Bible start with Matthew, mark, Luke and John praying and fasting and going to church, but in God🙏🏻 I hope that this bless you and you have a wonderful wonderful day
I should let our turtle out of the tank more. I just worry about salmonella because I have little kids. But she is a happy turtle and I just got her a 125 gallon tank! ❤
dry you turtle on a towel, under a light for like 15 minutes and let it roam free, once dry unless the kids touch it and unless it pees or poops on the floor, you should be fine bacteria wise. i kiss mine when he’s dry, all the time and im totally doing well.
My Harry is 41 years old and is always happy. His favorites are shrimp, watermelon, spinach and crickets. He sprints like Jesse Owens when I open a bag of Cheetos. He only gets a small bite ... then paws at me begging for more.
The story is my old boss caught him in his porch one day and brought him to work to release it but he let me take it home and I have a tank for her and everything she’s very happy only issue is she doesn’t like basking. She will stay in the water and she sleeps in the water heater sticking in the water. It’s set to 85 degrees maybe it’s too cold for her liking
-Feed them a balance diet with variety of protein pellets and romaine lettuce, shrimp, carrots -get a good tank size for them to swim in -show them attention -have plants and things for them to interact with in tank
@@m_ron2742 Hey can you help me My turtle is totally not into eating And thats why its not growing at all. She basks , water temperature is okay , and has a uv light And only thing it eats is live insects like isopods and silverfishes. Im looking in to getting aquatic turtles but ofc the petco near me only has yellow bellied turtles so im searching around for red eared sliders because that was my intended turtle, either way im getting an aquatic turtle and dropping a pretty penny to build an aesthetically pleasing tank as well as top tear for them
@@samuelaquijadag9537my turtle is just goofy she doesn't like being picked up and she likes to swim to me for food or either swim around and play. She tries to bite when she's annoyed tho
Only thing mine doesn’t do in this video is bask. Water is like 85 degrees idk if that’s too cold? She never gets up on her rock it’s weird she stays in the water and sleeps in the water heater, maybe it’s too cold for her liking
The water is too warm. It should be around 77 degrees Fahrenheit, while the basking area should be around 90 degrees. If the water is too warm, they wouldn’t feel the need to bask and would just stay in the water, which wouldn’t be too good for their shell over an extended period of time.
Yes a heating lamp acts like the Sun, which helps regulate the turtles body temperature due to them being cold blooded. Them getting the heat they need from the lamp also helps with metabolizing their food. Maybe get a thermometer to keep an eye on the water bc you don’t want it too cold or too warm. You want to encourage basking.
@@Brii1017 well google said to have it around 85 it has a built in thermometer do you know if heat lamps have the built in thermometer as well? I actually went looking for one last night but couldn’t find one I may have to order one
I haven’t seen any lamps with a built-in thermometer. I’ve just seen other videos of people having a separate thermometer that monitors the basking area and another for the water. I just have one for the water. My water heaters are preset to keep the water at 77.4 degrees.
he bites now when i try to clean his shell. even superrrrr gently. he hates it. hope he doesn’t resent me 😢i feel like i fucked up the flow we had ever since i touched him with that brush 😂
Man, I have a female with just 1 year old and she is almost 6 inches long by her shell. She eats like crazy, she is healthy but no fat. I’m intimidated on how big she could reach. For what I have seen this size is not normal for her age
I hope whoever reads this has a happy life.
Thank you man hope you have a great happy life too man god bless ❤❤

I have 10 turtles that turtle is so cute though❤
My turtle is not like this. It doesn't rush to get food.
Our older one doesn't move around much. I need to make a large double decker platform for it so it doesn't have to be in the water all the time
Cute music
When it hit “basikong regulery” my turtle started basking
