Seven films in this issue all about the Super Class, the name Ford gave to their new Super Major and Super Dexta tractor models. Our first film concentrates on the Super Major, highlighting all the latest improvements, it's even been given its own theme tune! Following on is an excellent film featuring the Super Dexta which boasts "the tractor that puts power into light tractor farming". The Dexta joins in as we find out about 'The Love of Three Farmers' and we accompany the Worldwide Fordson Dealer Operation, travelling the world promoting their tractors and machinery.
With machines from 1917 up to the 1990s, this series will feature something for everyone interested in Ford tractors and brings a completely new perspective to the machines that helped revolutionise farming the world over.

I just love the Fordson Super Major commercial. The background music and then the man in a suit talking about the tractor. That's class.

it's take me to my childhood, when i was riding with my grandfather and going to the fields. the most beautiful thing happened back then in my life. I always felt safe. :)
Thanks for showing these all videos on British Fordson tractors. Most of the videos on the Internet tend to be about the US built Ford tractors rather than the British built machines. These Fordson tractors were very popular here in Australia.P.S. I love the sales jingle!
Great video I have a fordson super dexta, it's a nice tractor 52 years old now.
My dad has 1 he got it from his dad and we used to do stuff around the house we mainly use it to move hay bells naw

Ford should never have got out of tractor making and farm machinery manufacture, because they were (pardon a pun!) built Ford tough, well made and very dependable indeed. I wouldnt have merged with New Holland at all and kept it going.

Did you see that? at 3:46, no wonder the fordies Hopped so much ;-) being dragged along the quayside with the wheels dragging / skidding. Bearings seized already!! Good job we couldn't spell properly when we wrote out the order for a new Fergie !! LOL. A nice little film, looking back - never saw that. I just luuuuv that English voice-over. think you call it Nostalgic.
