@oc3d tv did they say over 300watts? Im looking at the 7800xt nitro and its max reviewed watts is 277, if so this has high overclocking abilitiy. Also in the end you had mentioned they have a asus tuf in white coming, they already have it out- did you mean a white strix?? thanks

Hey! Some help pls! What does in the specs with bracket mean for card size. With bracket it is 332mm. Aiming to put this into a deepcool ch370...but I have doubts it will fit as it supports gpus upto 320mm.

I recently bought this GPU and when I power in the system everything turns on , but I don’t get a display. I noticed the GPU fans were not spinning so maybe there’s something wrong with the GPU?
could be, but it has 0 RPM mode which should be enabled by default, so it should not be the problem. could be ram or anything really
How is Coil whine?
I surprisingly got one in Canada. It looks super sleek in all white. Do you think the white heatsinks will be a problem in the future. I'm not sure what they're coated with, but I feel like the white will peel off over time.
i just watched a video bout this card of a german guy and he used some laser kind of method to look for the different materials the card/cooler is made of. The coating was made out of tintaniumoxide, this coat seems to be pretty sturdy and wo'nt peel off to easily.
between the Sapphire pure 7800 xt and this hellhound spectral, which one is better?. I'm trying to decided which one do i get.

@@astago2966 The Saphire provides lower overall temps but the power color is only a few degrees behind. Overall a marginal difference but with the spectral having a white heatsink and PCB, not to mention the lighting! In my opinion if you’re going for aesthetic power color is the way to go.
I honestly prefer the ASRock 7800 xt steel legend

This is the only test where the Nitro wins with the Hellhound, It's strange. This white version looks amazing but it's not availible in my country yet.

I am considering between powercolor hellhound white and asus tuf. Both is same price. Asus has a bit higher clock. But powercolor is nicer.
Ohh nooo! I just bought the 7900xtx couple of weeks ago thinking Power color was not going to release the 7800xt in white. 😂 super happy with my white 7900xtx though and I'd rather like the contrast between the white and the silver heat sink on the 7900xtx Spectral white.

I think GPU manufacturers need to figure out a better placement for the power cable connectors. Im it fed up with cases like this one where you have a nice white card and the cable just spoiling it all (yes its more visible here cuz its black) but wouldnt it be nice to have a nice clean looking gpu without cables out in your face and without it being some proprietary one manufacturer only connector…
Eh some people like the cables and yeah many people can buy white cable extensions that look great. Although i agree that there are not many choices for people who don’t like them. Manufacturers are innovating tho and i remember one putting the cables on the back

Get white cable and extensions or rgb and then it looks nicr
Good looking card but the Radeon software keeps resetting itself and crashing.
I didnt have any issues with this at all.

The card is essentially just as fast with the Silent BIOS as it is with the OC BIOS. Other outlets have tested the card with both. I run this card with the Silent BIOS and some decent undervolting (1030mV, stock is 1150mV) and under full load the fans usually stay well below 800 rpm.
Not bad. The white Powercolor cards are stepping in for the missing white Sapphire cards.

Unfortunately, it's $579 right now in the US. If it was actually $499, I'd buy one today. $579 is just close to a 4070 Super, which beats this card pretty easily. I'm an AMD guy though, so I'd prefer this 7800 XT is just priced right. A couple weeks ago, you could get an XBox X game console with a controller for $349, and you can buy entire laptops for $579, so it still just doesn't seem like a great value.
But the only rtx 4070 super with a GOOD white design costs 720€ from Gigabyte in (my opinion)
White cards are more expensive. White 4070super are also more expensive. But if you only care about performance then just buy the cheapest 4070super lol
@unholydonuts it cost only 50€ more than the cheapest modell. The only white cool design at nvidia cost 150€ more

It’s 80 bucks over the cheapest 7800xt AND it doesn’t have argb, it’s a shame really, it looks gorgeous… Asrock’s Steel Legend is cheaper, mostly white and has argb but spectral definitely looks better.

I have both the 4070 and the 7800 xt and the 4070 is not in a competition with the 7800 xt. The 4070 is like 13-15% crappier than this card at least in the games I play. Shit I’m pretty sure this cards only actual competition is with the ti or the gre tbh
Ahh the ecstasy something white to review. Might be nice to check the drivers using more than one display. Rx7700Xt glitches on two displays connected, checking problem reports A770 also has problems. Then again I don't expect you to do any real useful testing, as you were just sit back and savoir the white colour.
Wow would you like some pepper with that salt? Im reviewing the card not doing an AMD driver deep dive. Drivers can also change very quickly so it would actually be unfair to make this GPU review negative because of something AMD directly may be having a problem with.
Not just AMD but intel as well this multi monitor problem seems to be being put on the back burner, so highlighting it might get some movement on the developers to do list. @@OC3D
@@OC3D Seems it is not just you but most of the review channels are not testing the cards to manufacturers specification. Tech notice at least check the VRAM capacity and power but again ignore the Output port checking. The manufacturers must be having a real laugh at the lax testing of their products. Ere send OC3D our next card, but boss we only have 10gb not 12gb, don't worry spoof the bios they won't actually check, But boss the outputs are 1.4 not 2 again don't worry they don't check that either, But boss only two of the ports work the other two are flaky, again don't worry they don't check that either.

It will cost $399 in early 2024 thanks to the RTX4070 Super.
No such card will exist. GDDR6 Version is coming with 16gb VRAM. It will perform worse in some cases.
