@@adopodrinje1499 That's because you gotta find your OWN way, man. You clearly don't understand the point he's trying to make.
He had no assistance in his life and he had to figure out everything for himself. His message is simply to demonstrate to others that it's possible to achieve whatever you believe to achieve--i.e. he did things to see if he could actually endure it.
Clearly, you haven't listened to enough of his interviews because, in one of them, he states how he dislikes how some people can't get their life together on their OWN--which is the example you are showing to me right now.
Let this man be an inspiration, not your guide. The guide is YOURSELF on your OWN journey.
"This isn't a race with anyone. This is a race that you run on your OWN."
I hope my emphasis on *OWN* was enough for you to get what I'm putting out.

I love how raw and unfiltered this was! You can see that David Goggins walks the walk, and is not just a sh*t talker like a lot of "motivational coaches". He shares his own pain and suffering to show us he is not a 1% freak of nature. He is an average person, like you and me that had the courage to dive into his demons and walk through his fire with no fear. If he can do this, we can too.

One thing I've noticed with Goggins is that he has massively strong visualizations, descriptions, and visions for everything of importance that he speaks of.... "The Accountability Mirror"... "The Cookie Jar" ... "Gods List In Heaven" ... etc. Everything he talks about being aren't simply lists on a piece of paper somewhere. They're Mona Lisa's in his mind that he can see and feel... and project into reality.

David's cursing could never outweigh his message. Maybe it's because I'm not sensitive to a few F-words or colorful phrases. Or maybe I don't judge the sincerity of people based on their use of expletives used for emphasis of a point. Whatever. Frankly, it makes me listen more because it's more authentic to me. I've gone through my own personal Hell many times and I lost 6 years of my life being bedridden and on the brink but that has been one of the first books I read in the thick of my recovery and it's given me so many tools to get back to where I should be and where I'm gonna be in life. It's encouraging to know that two of the most influential people to me have been through the exact same and that I can do this too. I kinda expected you two to gravitate together and I'm so glad it happened because it's inspired and also highlighted many more issues within me I need to address and target, thanks guys.

I honestly believe this is one of the most deep and truly amazing interviews I have ever seen. I am a huge Googins and Shetty fan, but so much came from this, there was so much connection from 2 completely different worlds. Great interview!

While David was saying all his painful story and all the things he have learnt from it, you could really see that thing into his eyes and the way of talking. Struggle is the thing that can get you out of your zone and the "pushing limits" thing is all can make a good change in your life, literally it can make you something else you wouldn't even have expected yourself to be. I really learnt many things and I surely want to incorporate all these in my life. I really look foreward to read the book of such incredible man...Just loved it.

This is powerful. Excavating our past is exactly what it takes to start living. Spare yourself a little bit of pain right now by not peeling back the layers of your mind and asking why you do this thing that's self destructive or why you're afraid of doing the thing that's truly going to set you free and you will live a lifetime of pain. You'll repeat the same mistakes over and over. It may seem like fate but it's not. Once you really break it down, it's shocking to what extent we create our own reality. The ways circumstances and others have hurt you is not your fault. But there's no reason to stay living in that pain. There's no reason to keep hurting yourself. You don't have to be an athlete to do what David Goggins is doing. You just have to be willing to delve into the dark parts of your own mind and face the things that will make you stronger. It's not easy but it's worth it. Absolutely.

The discussion around knowing when you're pushing too hard or not pushing enough....I needed that right now. This pandemic has had me wondering if I should be working harder or resting more. The answer: listen to the voice🙏🏽

As an Introvert myself...I just stood here and gave this podcast interview a save, along with a self standing ovation!
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼You both are on point. I also love the child mind philosophy that you gave Jay. I love minds that feed my soul. This is my hunger. You both are Epic. I dont often do this, but I'm checking out David's page to subscribe. I like hearing straight from the mouth of a gifted horse. (Respects...Ok, the pun comes from a Saggitarius) I have heard enough to ignite the hunger I crave within my means.

you grow by revisiting all the people who have caused you pain - david
wow, reflecting on that personally what a painful thing that is to do. but, i reflect on my own journey and i have always gone back, sometimes victimizing myself. but when i go back and i don’t, that’s when i overcome that pain and heal.
you gotta get into that cellar of your mind to heal your broken soul
