I just picked up this combo for slightly less than $200 and did a quick search here and found this video confirming what I remember from way back in the early 2000's!!! This things are fun! I've also got the NTS-3 Kaoss pad that I'm going to add at the end of the chain. I can't wait to play with them all together! I've always loved any oddball sort of way to interact with your instruments to make music. Touch pads, joysticks, even light sensors that mimic the theremin.. all fun ways to control your sound!
Thanks for watching man. I think I'm going to have some fun with this little box. I've wanted one for a while just cuz it matches the KO-1 (which I love).
fascinating. I love what you can do with this type of touch control - you've got tone/timbre as well as note on/note off, all under one or two fingers. As you've demonstrated, it allows you to get really creative and expressive. I'm feeling inspired!!
I've had my eye out for a while but this one hit the price point I wanted so... I snatched it up. I don't think it's as useful as the KO-1... but I still think I'll have a lot of fun with it.
Nice job on the improv. It really added to it. I have the really mini versions of both but I still like the bigger ones better. They just are special in a way that the really Plasticky ones don’t have.
Hi, have you noticed an increase in volume when touching the kaoss Effects pad.? When I run a audio signal through mine and touch the pad the volume increases dramatically Thanks
I believe I had to dig into the menu to get the levels where I needed them. I use it now permanently wired to my analog console and spare converter output on an FX loop for mixing for clients to keep it interesting/inspiring. Anyway, dig into the settings menu, you might find what you're looking for!
I’m not exactly sure what you’re asking. The mini-KP does not have an internal microphone. If you wanted to plug a microphone into it, you could do that (but keep in mind it only accepts RCA inputs). Mini-KP is expecting a line level stereo input signal. With the right mic preamp this would be easy to do.

@@BeyondTyrants have fun. They’re great little synths.
Love the jam you did at the end. They look fun to use together.
Thanks for watching. They are a really great combination. Check out this video when you get a minute. ruclips.net/video/P7ZUUbKm8Vc/видео.html
Great find. Good demo video. Some really cool effects. Have a great week.
Yeah, it's a fun little box. I'm sure I'll find some uses for it. Thanks for tuning in.
Those are pretty cool and strangely useable

Yeah. I've wanted one for a while. I love the KO-1 so I figured this one may speak to me too. I'm looking forward to experimenting with it.
I had one and was such a fool. To sell it. It goes so well with the yellow one and other synths !! So excited for you and your cool find !!

They are getting very expensive

I totally agree. There's been a lot of revisions but this era is my favorite. I think these came out circa-2007.
I remember when radiohead used these on stage! 🤘
Thanks for checking out the video.
Howdy Neighbor.!! Ft Worth says Howdy!! Great channel Dude! Glad a N Texan is representing the music weirdness you put out there! YeeHa!!

Another fun toy 🎉
Indeed. I have a feeling I'm going to have a lot of fun with this little box.

Hmmm. I could see that with some settings. However if it’s doing it fir everything you might have an electronic issue.

Hey mate have you ever used rechargeable batteries with it?
On the manual says alkaline only.
Cheers
I have no tried that. I've only used alkaline or the A/C adapter.
Can be use with microphone?
