COME TO OHIO!! My dad used to build ChiChis for the construction company he worked for. He traveled all over building them. When they opened our family would travel and go for the "soft" opening and Grand Opening and eat for free!!! We have SO many family memories!! My sister and I will drive to Minnesota to come when they open!!!!! My Dad died last year at the age of 93. He would be ecstatic!!!😅😅😊😊❤❤❤
Please come back in Ohio. I miss Chi - Chi's so much , love their burros & salsa chips & dips & their fried ice cream. I still remember their t.v. commercial tag line "Chi - Chi's a celebration of food".
What's old is new again indeed. I mean, Monday Night Football returning to ABC (albeit an ESPN production since ABC Sports is no more of course), the NBA returning to NBC (albeit without the NBA Finals because NBC is getting B package from TNT instead of the A package that ESPN/ABC currently has), WWE relaunching Saturday Night's Main Event on NBC, the Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks of the NHL reintroducing their Wayne Gretzky and Disney era logos (albeit modernized and reimagined), Lindsay Lohan back doing films, the Wayans brothers reacquiring the Scary Movie film franchise and now Chi Chi's is being rebooted. Hello younger days!
Always loved Chi-Chi's, my number one favorite resturant! I was hoping they re-opened one day, so for me, this is great news! Their chicken enchiladas are the absolute best!, and those big @ss Margaritas, yes, this was my place, lots of fond memories from Chi-Chi's, dates, birthday parties, etc. Hope they hurry up and get all the details worked out, and re-open nationwide, I'll be the first customer here in Indiana! 😋👍
Chi Chi was founded in Minnetonka, Minnesota back in the 1970s. It is too bad they have a food poisoning scandal that force the company to go bankrupt. I remember somebody brought the name however in bankruptcy.

The best Mexican restaurant in MN. Great food I hope the new owner brings more of the southwest taqueria taste to Minnesotan pallets. I live in California but I'm from MN and Mexican food is an art 🎨 and delicious
