You've got awesome equipment and one of the best collections of music I've ever seen. I really like listening to what you have to say about your collection, and you've definitely turned me on to some new music. Thanks, Kenny!
Also, side 1 of Da Capo is one of my favorite sides ever!

Always great to see any discussion about LOVE. They were a very elusive band for me for a long while. Although, I had read rock press about them and especially "Forever Changes" it was nearly 20-years before I had the chance to really hear them. Electra re-issued the first 3-albums on CD in the early eighties and I grabbed them on the spot. I immediately understood what all the fuss regarding "forever Changes" was about. Otherwise, "Da Capo" is the finest example of Baroque pop ever made, and it really encapsulates the mood & feeling of that time perfectly. However, I do have to admit I can count the number of times I've listened to "Revelations" on side two on one hand. I can understand if they ran out of songs but...

Hi Kenny, watched your video and went to Discogs and one each still sealed. I listened to the tracks on both and love them. Thanks for your review, I’m going to buy them and they’re originals

I was lucky to see Arthur in the UK performing Forever Changes album it was a very spiritual moment in time for me. I have De Capo on SACD and will have to revisit it l always go for Forever Changes. Peace from UK

Great review! The side long jam is a great artifact of 60s music 🙂 Quicksilver Messenger Service does this on their Happy Trails album as well.

I love 'Da Capo', and I agree with you, Kenny, about 'Revelation'. It's what we Brits might call a 'Marmite' song - you either hate it or love it. I'm in the latter camp. Some call it a mess, but for me it has real drive and direction, and as you say, there's some great musicianship, especially the sax (Tjay Cantrelli) and the drumming (Michael Stuart). If you read the Wikipedia entry, the band hated it ... but you and I beg to differ, it seems. And that first side ... man! Perfect.

thanks for the vid...a rather wobbly album...5 golden nuggets on A side...a boring bluesy jam
    on the B side...but enjoyable...

…i have “da capo” mono, and “Love Revisited” a compilation album, (“Love” and “Forever Changes” on my phone)…agree with your assessment of Arthur Lee and Brian Maclean…feel Revelation is probably a very good representation of Love live, at least that aspect of the band, which as i understand it was facilitated by the joining of the sax player…you may want to checkout the RUclips channel “Daze with Jordan the Lion Heart” who did a fascinating piece on Love and a tour of the mansion they lived in…

I have seen a documentary on LOVE that includes Arthur Lee and it shows and it does show the mansion but I have not seen the show that you are referring to...I will definitely check it out.
I appreciate your comments and thank you very much for watching my video 😊
