Matt Matt Matt! The “mystery space” is one of the biggest selling points in the whole unit! That’s where you put the printer, the shipping supplies, etc. for the business you run out of the RV that affords the full time life! We were so excited to see that as we run two businesses out of our RV. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 It is really hard to find an RV with the appropriate setup for full time living if you don’t have children or social security! We get excited to see a unit that a childless, younger couple can truly live in. 👍🏼 Which brings me to our dislikes: 1. The fridge is residential instead of 2-way. I need a propane fridge that I can count on when boondocking, or simply at a campground in the mountains that loses power every time there is a storm. 2. That valance in the kitchen should have been a spice rack! We were so excited to see it until we realized it was a valance! LOL 3. I don’t need two sinks in the bathroom. The counter space would be much more valuable. Likes: 1. That “mystery space” for our office! 2. The kitchen layout and decor was fantastic! LOVE the two person table!! 3. We like the private toilet.
To me, this is closer to a "park model", and something I'd want to keep in a permanent location. Definitely on the higher end of a couple's luxury "cabin". I love the overall layout and the colors are very pleasant. It's so large and so open inside. Love the kitchen it's 100% perfect for full time living. The main slide-out is huge. The shower, double sinks and king sized bed are amazing. I love that the master bedroom has an AC in it. It needs to be 50 amp for sure. I wouldn't need a generator, as I'd treat it as a "park model". Things I don't like are very minor. I think for that price point, it should already come with a stack washer/dryer. I didn't like that the black and grey water dumps are so far apart from each other. When you're in a permanent location, one can hook up a permanent PVC dump pipe, to a single use black/gray outlet, but to have them separate means a lot more pipe has to be laid. Last, I'd say the electric levelers, I'd prefer it be hydraulic, if possible. Nice camper though, it'd need a heavy duty dually hauler for sure.
I didn't like that the theater seating wasn't across from the TV, and that it didn't have the heat/massage. And that it wasn't a bunk model. I absolutely loved everything else
This is really nice. That space in the living room would be better for a small desk. I don't like how the theater seating is not across from the TV. I love everything else.
3 Likes: 1: Amazing kitchen with nice appliances and lots of storage 2: Great bathroom with separated toilet and space for an optional stackable washer and dryer pair 3: Nice bedroom with lots of closet space 3 Dislikes: 1: The exterior looks a bit cheap in some areas (sides of slide-outs covered in black plastic is one example of this) 2: Dinette only seats 2 people 3: No generator prep
Thank you Mat and Will. Enjoy your channel. Just looked at this model at an RV show. My wife and I love it! I’m a big dude, love that I had a lot of shoulder room. Not a fan of narrow hallways. The whole unit is spacious. I wasn’t crazy about walking through the bathroom but I can live with it if that’s what it takes for no narrow hallways. Just the two of us. If I had 3-4 little ones this would not be for me. Thanks again and god bless!
You're right; I did not know about this 5th wheel! Sweet layout with tons of space. My 3's: Likes: 1. Bedroom storage and spaciousness. 2. Kitchen. Everything about it! 3. Like the bathroom and w/d configuration. Dislikes: 1. No generator? Seriously? Ugh. 2. Agree about hydraulic jacks. 3. ? Don't have one!
162 gallons of freshwater? Did anyone check out this number? I have never seen a freshwater tank that large. It must be a mistake, or a record. Class A's don't even carry that much freshwater. Matt and Will, you guys are really starting to mesh into a solid team. Keep up your great work. General RV should be very happy with your productions.
It's beautiful! Dislikes-dark cabinetry makes it too dark Where the TV is situated -no handheld shower head Likes-the bedroom fireplace The shower is nice looking
Very interesting design. I’m so glad to see theater seating WITHOUT a center divider.... but why is it not facing the TV? Also- that little funny counter in the kitchen may or may not be useful. Thanks to you and Will
Very nice floorplan for a couple😁 Likes Kitchen is awesome Love the Second fireplace in the bedroom Love the bathroom setup Dislikes Dark cabinets Roof looks already messed up No hydraulic levelling
Like: Fireplace x2, shower and sink decor, and I LOVE the full stove/oven! The layout is unique, too. Love all the trash cans! 😂 Dislike the tiny toilet room. Ps. Will showing the wine racks...totally a Vanna White hand gesture! Made me chuckle!
What is up Matt, I'm the shop foreman over at GT5 Birch Run, I recently purchased the Dutchmen Yukon 400rl and it is amazing, would be interested in you doing a review on it, it has a whole different layout that utilizes the mystery spot u mentioned, generator prep, etc. If you ever need a reviewer in the Michigan area I'd gladly help you out
@17:31 I love everything about this floorplan, except the entertainment and 'coffee bar' location. They need to move the stairs more driver side, put the entertainment center where the coffee bar is, and put a desk/workspace where the entertainment spot currently is. Other than that floorplan fail, I love this model!
I’ve not seen that exact floor plan, very nice. Great interior cupboard storage every where, wine cubbies, pullout garbage, laundry hampers, entry coat broom closet, multi functional w/d closet, big window in toilet closet, drawers galore, Good basement storage - love the pull out tray, and backside cubby outside storage to stuff cords n hoses. But dislike black blinds, needs window side valances, and hate black slide-out side walls, not hydraulic leveling, but these dislikes are what make it less costly for a buyer than suggested comparable’s. Cheers 🍻
I like the colors in the interior. I don’t like the glass on the doors. I don’t want to see someone using the bathroom or the brooms. I love the NO carpet. I hate carpet. Great kitchen! I do like the split shower & toilet.
Three things I like .....the kitchen area, the way the bathroom is configured and the coat closet. Three things I don’t like are....I would love the dining room table to seat four, for that price it should have a solar panel on the roof and it would be nice to have that power cord on a reel. One question--where was the toilet paper holder?
Good afternoon Matt and Wil! Great review and bringing out another lesser known product. Agree with the 2 of the likes, but not a fan of the split up bathroom. Dislikes were on point! Thank you again for your review! Have a great day!
Very nice coach .. only thing is that walk thru bathroom. Should have put the bathroom up front . I dont want to have walk thru a restroom to get to the bedroom .
I REALLY like this floor plan! LOVE: Gorgeous, large kitchen!; beautiful large shower!; amount of indoor storage. DISLIKE: Flip-up outside storage compartments...too hard to maneuver to get things, especially with the slides out; in-floor heat ducts...too easy for dirt and small objects to fall through the gates; dining table...I’m a fan of the dinette style where you can make into bed plus it can accommodate four people instead of just two.
Hello, I love the kitchen! Living area is awesome. I love the shower. Storage with washer dryer option is great, love both fireplaces! Only thing I would dislike is the dinette, to small. Great review Matt and Will!🤗👍❤
The 3 things I like about this fifth wheel RV: 1. the kitchen 2. the bathroom: door for the toilet, Jack and Jill vanity, closet with shelving and is prepped for stackable washer/dryer, big shower, combo with the height in the bathroom and bedroom 3. no carpet The 3 things I don't like about this fifth wheel RV: 1. either make the baggage doors open higher or make the tray come out electric switch 2. vents in the floor 3. combo: I wish the coat closet door opened to the left instead to the right and the counter to the left of stairs in the living room
I like this unit and floorplan. Dislikes: the odd shelf to the left of the stairs and the second bathroom sink should be floor to ceiling cabinet/pantry areas.
Our second fifth wheel was a 2013 Denali that was a pretty well made unit with the exception of the Lippert slide that kept breaking. Once they were put under Keystone in 2014 the service became terrible. They left it up to us to fix the slide after various dealerships attempted to repair it three times in 2013. After the independent service tech fixed it for good, it was a great unit, but I would never call it a luxury RV. Here are my threes: Likes: 1. Separate water closet; 2. Washer/Dryer closet; 3. hmmm Dislikes: 1. Kitchen is not accessible when slide is in, especially the fridge; table too small & slide not flush; 2 - Living room not well thought out: TV should be on televator, sofas should be reconfigured.; 3 - Control panel hidden; 4 - Power cord reel; 5 - Leveling jacks should be hydraulic; 6 - roof membrane already bubbling. Compared to truly high end luxury fifth wheels such as DRV, Vanleigh, and Grand Design, this is no where near being luxury. Sadly DRV is also owned by Thor but I have no idea how they stand behind the DRV owners.
I love this layout! With the exception of the bathroom being so close to the master bedroom. Who wants to be woken up by somebody's midnight turkeysquirts? LOL
i like the l counter thing but i feel like the wall should be gone and just a flush counter would be better i HATE the fridge but i love the rest of the kitchen i dont really like the theater seats id rather have work space I love the proper dining table and chairs instead of diner seating matt doing math EPIC
The trash cans in the bedroom are probably meant for dirty clothes. And why would the toilet smell if it’s a new fifth wheel that’s never been used? Will is definitely getting better at making videos. We miss Andrea but we really like Will!
Wow, I really love this floor plan! Likes: that rear kitchen is amazing in all ways (why don't they make more like this?!), no dinette - would be easy to make that space into an office area, that master bathroom counter with the double bowl sinks - oh my! Bonus points for the toilet having its own little room. Dislikes: vents in floors, dark wood...really I can't think of a third thing except that I'd need to buy a truck to get this!!!
I love the kitchen, the king bed (storage underneath?) and all the storage inside and out. I dislike that the entertainment chairs are not across from the TV. Maybe they could swivel? And, those extra trash bins. Might that be a hamper? Then, as usual, I dislike the leather.
Great floor plan design, but why doesn’t it have a Polar Package???? WHAT I LIKE: love that kitchen storage & that stove; love the private toilet room; love the closet/laundry in bath instead of bedroom; one extra, that large bathroom...it’s nice!! WHAT I DON’T LIKE: cabinets looks cheap and lightweight, they’re not even soft close; hate the tiny stick out shelves next to the bed; don’t like there no place for dirty laundry in bedroom...ONE EXTRA: why is the table only for 2 when it sleeps 4???? 😳😳
Just 2 dislikes on this: That GOOFY countertop and the choice of either shelves or stacks. IF they had thought, really, they could have put the cupboard for the stacks or shelves where the counter is and then used the other as well. it could have been easily plumbed for the stacks right there against the shower and then nice doors to close it off when you're not using it. I also agree with the other dislikes you mentioned too. For that price, it should have had a top of the line hydraulic, self-leveling system. And a dinette you could seat more than 2 at. Honestly though, it is beautiful.
Disklike. 1) Would rather have larger taller fridge. Don't understand cabinets so high like the one above fridge. Not easily accessible. Wife is only 5'3". She wouldn't be able to use a lot of the storage up so high. Storage space that isn't used isn't storage space. 2) Would rather have larger swivel TV. 3) I'd make kitchen space a little larger,. Get rid of that weird place at 11:45 so living space stays the same. 4) Price is a little steep. MSRP should be about 80k max. 5) toilet needs a toilet paper holder or a shelf to hold several rolls. 6) would rather have full walk around bed.
I love this fifth wheel. Didn’t like it not having hydraulics. Other than that it’s a great fifth wheel. Love the huge shower. Nice bedroom and love the kitchen. The oven was huge. Thank you Matt and Will. See you both soon!
LIKES Kitchen, especially the fact that the counters are all one level, and the cabinets. Area by the stairs, great place for plants or a bar. Bedroom layout everything. DISLIKES People peeing in an RV that isn't hooked up to use. Should be hydraulic leveling at that price point. Dinette table leg. Why did the skin on the roof look rippled, and have never seen roof cross beams show through. Chief
Dislikes: theater seats 90 degrees from the TV (seriously?!). Can't get to bedroom without passing shower. Two person dinette. This is clearly positioned as a couples RV.
I have a question. My question is you guys say that RVs are rated for full time use then if they building RVs for full-time use why doesn't the insurance company want to ensure RVs for full-time use???🙄 Can anybody answer that question
My opinion would be that technically no RV is built for full-time use. They are all built with the general intention of recreational use. They might cater towards a full-time customer but they don't advertise that. As customers we indicate the recreational or full-time usage terms. As for the insurance, companies don't want to ensure for full-time use because it becomes a greater risk and liability to them. On average, the statistic is that many people only use their RVs for about 13 days per year. In my opinion, that number might be climbing for some but, not most. The more time you spend in the unit the greater the chance of incident and accident. It's the same reason why many banks and lenders won't loan for a full-time use RV. The depreciation is greater when it's used and abused more frequently. That's just my thoughts though. Luckily, lenders and insurance companies are becoming more informed and accepting of full-time use for RVs! Hopefully it'll just keep getting better!
Dislikes: That odd cabinet by the stairs Refrigerator. I prefer the nice RV big one. Likes: Kitchen Lots of storage Bathroom is very large. (I prefer separate toilet room) That’s definitely a very nice full time couple RV. Very spacious. Feels like a residential layout with everyday living.
Once again I feel like you rush through these reviews on towables, I don't know if it is because it is 2 guys or what. I have a subscriber for a long time use to watch the MH reviews but have decided won't fit my plans so switched to Towables. I will say it again I would like to see the unit with the slides in, and the awnings out. It is important to me to see what I can access with the slides in. 3 things I like about this unit: 1. the coat closet (although I agree with Brian door should open other way.) 2. The Kitchen with the nice oven and the convection oven, love that. 3. The shower, I like the finish, I like the size but I wish it had a hand held. 3 Things I dislike 1. Vents in the FLOOR at this price point that should be given that there be no vents in the floor. 2. Very few outlets in the kitchen, Actually I only saw one. 3. Combo no air conditioning in the rear of the trailer, nor did you show if there was a fan in the kitchen and the window in the back of the kitchen doesn't open, it doesn't look like either window kitchen opens.
This unit could have drawers and a mirror with sitting space - under the bed. BUT - We will never know, because you guys didn't check. This is the problem with two guys doing these reviews. - Two guys never think of the things a bed can do.- You need a woman in the mix, to get those thoughts moving. If this unit sells for $55,000 or less it would be a good buy. There seems to be too much missing. The recliner and the sofa - cannot be used at the same time - because the foot-rests would hit each other. I think 'HIGH CABINETS' are stupid. I'm 6'4" and I still think they are stupid. I give this thing a 6 out of 10 because of the shower and the kitchen. If it was completely together this could go higher.
Love: Basement storage with slide out trays Aluminum framing on basement storage areas Solid Entry Steps Too many access keys No interior carpeting (most people have fur babies) Hamper pull-down in bedroom Whole Bathroom: especially, double sinks in Bath and counter design and shower size Lots of windows Love, love, love: The whole kitchen (except no floor in under-sink area), especially the double sinks, glass in cabinet, res. size fridge and range Dislikes: Can't do steps, would like to see all this in a bumper pull. No entry door directly to bedroom Not frameless windows No Washer/Dryer hookup Not mention, but assume it is not insulated for 4-season use Length is a challenge for national & state parks and BLMs.
Just purchased this one!!!! Absolutely Love It!!!
👍🏼 Which brings me to our dislikes:
1. The fridge is residential instead of 2-way. I need a propane fridge that I can count on when boondocking, or simply at a campground in the mountains that loses power every time there is a storm.
2. That valance in the kitchen should have been a spice rack! We were so excited to see it until we realized it was a valance! LOL
3. I don’t need two sinks in the bathroom. The counter space would be much more valuable.

The appliances are huge! Look at all the counter space!
I didn't like that the theater seating wasn't across from the TV, and that it didn't have the heat/massage. And that it wasn't a bunk model. I absolutely loved everything else
I like the bathroom, 4 $83 trash cans, and the kitchen. I don't like that not prep for gen, electric leveling, and the twisty locks.
This is really nice. That space in the living room would be better for a small desk. I don't like how the theater seating is not across from the TV. I love everything else.
Great job guys! I like separate toilet room and coat closet.

The 3 things I like about this fifth wheel RV:
1. the kitchen
2. the bathroom: door for the toilet, Jack and Jill vanity, closet with shelving and is prepped for stackable washer/dryer, big shower, combo with the height in the bathroom and bedroom
3. no carpet
The 3 things I don't like about this fifth wheel RV:
1. either make the baggage doors open higher or make the tray come out electric switch
2. vents in the floor
3. combo: I wish the coat closet door opened to the left instead to the right and the counter to the left of stairs in the living room

Curious about this as well

The cabinet in the living room could be used as a desk if you could remove the doors.
I love the storage , I dislike the bath area.
Thank you!
Nice job with the back half of the 5th wheel I would change nothing. dislike, The kitchen is too dark.
How could a unit like this not be prepped for generator??
At this price point it should have a drop frame and generator prep. Also, the front storage is useless between the batteries and spare tire.
Great floor plan design, but why doesn’t it have a Polar Package????
WHAT I LIKE: love that kitchen storage & that stove; love the private toilet room; love the closet/laundry in bath instead of bedroom; one extra, that large bathroom...it’s nice!!

Very nice I think that would be a dry bar?
I feel like this is made for either a couple or a single person who works from home. Lots of space for a laptop
Why is it not prepped for a generator??? Cabinets over the fridge would be hard to use when you are only 5'2".
I love this fifth wheel. Didn’t like it not having hydraulics. Other than that it’s a great fifth wheel. Love the huge shower. Nice bedroom and love the kitchen. The oven was huge. Thank you Matt and Will. See you both soon!

This latest round of Fatman On A Roof has me thinking there's an opportunity to update the channel name.... (hint)
That is an amazing floorplan. I have a rear kitchen in my 5th wheel and I love it but I want that kitchen. Dining table is too small.
It needs a rainfall shower for the BFG
❤️ is this azdel?
Is this unit a 4 season?
Matt can this be used as full time living for insurance reasons?
For insurance purposes yes, but may not be for warranty coverage. You'd need to read the warranty exclusions carefully.
👍
always mentions the propane, never mentions the propane accessories :(
Likes: pretty much everything
Double fire places
Huge kitchen
Washer and dryer in the hallway
Dislikes: um... 🤔
Dislikes:
That odd cabinet by the stairs
Refrigerator. I prefer the nice RV big one.
Likes:
Kitchen
Lots of storage
Bathroom is very large. (I prefer separate toilet room)
That’s definitely a very nice full time couple RV. Very spacious. Feels like a residential layout with everyday living.
Why dont you put the awnings out on the 5th wheels??? Come on Matt, we want to see!
It's probably because there are no onboard generators and the batteries are not yet installed or need to be charged.
Matt you are not fat
I think that that wasted space could be used for diaper changing table.
Bedroom trash cans?? Perhaps they are clothes hampers.
Will is not Andrea, let him develop his own style.
Like separate toilet - even in a house.
Don’t love
No washer and dryer hook up
No generator
Dark wood
Do love
Kitchen
Outside storage
Slide out Pass thru tray
There is prep for washer and dryer in the cupboard on the right as you walk into the bathroom from the front
This unit could have drawers and a mirror with sitting space - under the bed. BUT -
We will never know, because you guys didn't check.
This is the problem with two guys doing these reviews. - Two guys never think of the things a bed can do.-
You need a woman in the mix, to get those thoughts moving.
Love:
Basement storage with slide out trays
Aluminum framing on basement storage areas
Solid Entry Steps
Too many access keys
No interior carpeting (most people have fur babies)
Hamper pull-down in bedroom
Whole Bathroom: especially, double sinks in Bath and counter design and shower size
Lots of windows
Love, love, love: The whole kitchen (except no floor in under-sink area), especially the double sinks, glass in cabinet, res. size fridge and range
Dislikes:
Can't do steps, would like to see all this in a bumper pull.
No entry door directly to bedroom
Not frameless windows
No Washer/Dryer hookup
Not mention, but assume it is not insulated for 4-season use
Length is a challenge for national & state parks and BLMs.
14:07 there is hookups for washer/dryer
Use that wasted space for a dog crate with some adjustments
