Honestly, I’m beginning to embrace my love for elephants and hearing stories of trainers abusing them is something sad to watch, hope those in the circus who TRULY cares about them do something right
The only right thing for an elephant is being free. They aren't meant to travel in small cages only because of our entertainment.

I'm not so sure if I'm interested in going to the circus anymore. Although I don't like the thoughts of elephants having to be psychologically mistreated with chains I still think there must be another way to befriend them.
Why? If you want to see an elephant, buy a ticket and see them in Asia or Africa in the wild where they LIVE or learn about them from books, or television documentaries, or online. There is nothing in this world so ass-backward entitled as feeling that animals have to be captured from the wild to come to humans on a different continent so they can be entertained for, what? a 30 minute show? What a travesty.

@@idk-rg3qp their family were once unfortunately taken from the wild. But for the last 150/200 years these animals have been born and bred in circus. They’re family was in the circus, their children are in the circus. They haven’t been plucked from the wild recently they were born into the circus.

This video is so innacurate! These are nothing but lies spread by animal rights groups. Circus elephants are not only pampered and loved, they are also not on the road for the whole year. When they are not in the circus, they are living on their spaceous properties with their owners. The owners love the elephants like their own pets. Yes, there are a few circuses in the world that mistreat their animals, but not all circuses do that. In fact, most circuses are regulated and provide excellent care for their animals.
