Today I’m off to the first big VW Transporter meet of the year for Devon and Cornwall transporters.
See lots of interesting vans, campers, different styling choices, not things you see everyday.
New VW products, not seen before
There are also other things you don’t normally see at a VW meet. I was impressed.

I bought a VW Transporter T6 Kombi Highline van 140bhp diesel SWB with tailgate.
I have lots more to do though, I have a new electrical system, using Victron components and a Lithium LIFEPO4 battery, so I obviously need to install some power devices. I have a new sound system, with Focal speakers and ibus 2.1 amp, Playstation PS4, which will be removable, TV's on headrests.
Lots for me to look forward too and it would be nice to take you on the journey.
Vanlife is amazing, get out and explore, it's a great adventure.

I like to look at other vans and it’s not something you can do at a campsite. These provide the perfect excuse

Luv the vans liked the one with the vinyl on the back window! Less we forget ( aircraft and poppies. Where he/she get that)?
What do you think about the new T6 Ford. Do you like the new wet timing belt ? 😮
I like it in some regards. More modern, better tech etc. Driving aids I could down without and hopefully they could be turned off.
The dash and the infotainment will be much improved.
However to be honest, I’m more excited about the Multivan Cali concept than the new T7.
The wet belt seems to cause widespread disagreement. Some saying it’s a problem and some saying if serviced regularly, it’s fine.
I know people who have ran the Ford’s and have had problem after problem, but I’m sure others will say the same about VW.
In regard to the T7, I would be more interested in a hybrid, the bigger engined petrol one
