    After completing an MBBS from the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), you can become a medical officer in the Indian Armed Forces. You will also be commissioned as a Lieutenant in the Indian Armed Forces and complete an internship at a military hospital. You will then be promoted to Captain and placed as a Medical Officer at military posts.

    The official cut-off for the NEET 2024 exam for admission to Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune is not available yet. However, some estimates for the cut-off scores are:
    General: 600-630 marks (68-72 percentile)
    OBC: 550-580 marks (62-66 percentile)
    SC/ST: 500-530 marks (56-59 percentile)
    PWD (General): Similar to OBC cutoff (~550-580 marks)

    What happens after the PAT?
    Candidates who pass the PAT move on to an interview round.
    The interview is conducted by the Dean and other officers.
    Candidates are asked questions about themselves, their hobbies, and why they want to be in AFMC.

    Of MBBS
    The fee structure includes tuition, course, mess, and other charges.
    Parents or guardians of the admitted students must sign a bond agreement for ₹65,00,000.
    Students who withdraw from the college within 7 days of admission may have to pay the bond money.
    Fees can be paid by demand draft.

    importance of TOELR for your admission to this college is 20%. Focus largely on your interview. Make sure your psychological self matches that of your interview one. Do not be over confident, everyone seems to do a nice interview, but the board knows it all. Be fluent and happy.

    "If a candidate, who has been granted Commission in AFMS on completion of MBBS course, applies for release from service within 7 (seven) years of grant of the said commission, and provided his/her release is sanctioned by the Government as per rules in force, he/she shall will be liable to pay the amount of the Bond ...

    Candidates admitted to AFMC for MBBS course have a compulsory liability to serve as Commissioned Officers in the Armed Forces Medical Services. The offer of the type of commission will depend upon the vacancies available and shall be determined on merit-cum-option at the final MBBS examination.
