Really enjoyed your video. Great finds! Congratulations on a successful trip. The fish bone is really cool. The pyritized goniatites were cool too. Well done. Keep getting out there!
I learned a lot about fossils this year on our trip Aidan! This video was very interesting. You found a plethora of different fossils. The hash plate of Tentaculites is pretty cool!
Thank you Andrew, there is a trip to Hungry Hollow happening this Saturday if you are interested i don't know if I can make it but if you have time I would recommend it, the trip leads are super helpful.
OMG! What a place! The only fossils we have are trapped in limestone matrix. I still can't get over the quality and detail of that trilobyte you had prepped! Outstanding. Those hash plates are also incredible! Thanks for sharing, I may visit there some day.
That was awesome! You are lucky to have such a great spot available. What hardness is the matrix around there? Here it's a Mohs of around 4 so prepping fossils is a lot of work and often the matrix pulls away part of the surface :(
Those look good
Thanks
Awesome show, Aidan !!😃👍
I love fossils !!!
The little trilobite is definitely my favorite !!😃✌🍀⛏⛏

Depends the layers the fossils come out of, there are layers with harder limestone, soft sand stone, shalely matrix, soft clay, etc.
