I feel a bit sad about all these OS. Every time I try to find one, Mi 9t pro is not available. On this case I tried and I saw Mi 9t. Then suddenly it was just that. I never find one that supports that phone's model. : (
Not their fault but it kinda sucks they are only/mostly available for EU/NA region, which means they support only certain models and if they support "a lot" of models, some models will not be there. I have a J5 Prime "to waste" so if it bricks I wouldn't mind, to practice flashing and check out the OS. But Lineage has a J7 2015 model only and it's discontinued. eOS only ships within EU and NA. So buying a phone from them wouldn't be feasible either. I was checking Murena webpage and it's very hard (or impossible) to find a link or anything regarding eOS outside of the things they showcase on the webpage or their own shop. There isn't any link either to take you to the page of the project or something in case you want to load it yourself or can't buy their phones. And Iodé is only available for A5 and A7 as lower tier phones. J5 and A22 are not supported. Again, I don't blame them as it would be impossible to do it for every single model of every manufacturer, let alone there are a lot of models that are region specific. It's just frustrating because I can't try anything, and won't risk my current phone. I couldn't buy a new one if it gets bricked.

It's so familiar with Motorola user interface
This looks like something I might install on my Pixel 6 when Google stops updating it. I just don't feel comfortable installing a custom ROM on a device I use daily, as I'm worried I'll brick is somehow 😅
For Pixels I'd highly recommend GrapheneOS
If you already have the custom ROM up and running, how work you brick it? It’s the flashing of custom ROMs that is the confusing thing with the possibility of bricking phones. Just make sure to get a phone that has official custom recoveries and ROMs available. I’m working on a Moto E6 which I got Lineage up and running but it’s a version with gapps it seems. Trying to get a GSI up and running but it doesn’t seem to be as straight forward to me at least.
You accepted a sponsorship from Proton Mail? I mean that's what I use but it's only because I have no choice, but still I expected you to at least have a *better* service in your video.
Unfortunately as far as I could find out Magic Earth is not Open Source as you said.
If I recall correctly Magic earth is not open source

Great video nontheless, I hope you found/will find something to replace evil apple :P
thats how I customized e os, I used fred cam, it is better than open cam
Lol, LineageOS in the world of custom roms became something like a Debian in the world of distros - everything you know is based on them
They're like Debian because they take an eternity to release a new version and remember, it's never early enough! When they decide to release an official Android 13 version, Android 14 would be the mainstream and Android 15 will be almost ready to be released.
@@Arnt91 but we've got Android 13 and LineageOS running it already...
@@kittenfrompicture Officially? All devices? No, I doubt it.
@@Arnt91 not all devices, but late pixels, some Xiaomis and OnePlus phones
@@Arnt91 any difference from android 12 to 15? i still remember android 10 it was amazing and responsive compared to now.
I tried, but it's all in French and you can't change it to English by clicking at the top right-hand corner, so no good for me
can anyone suggest an os for a galaxy s20 for a novice
kitkat holo, the pinacle of UI design.

I don't think all apps run without google services running.
That's true, but some do not need an app to work. Remember most apps were and still are websites (so it's RUclips, Facebook, Twitter, Uber Eats and so on). You don't need their app to use its functionalities. At least, you shouldn't have to.
yeah, some apps use google services to handle notifications.
I far prefer Material You design over the original Material design
