- White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre got into a tense back-and-forth with members of the media Monday over questions about a Parkinson's expert reportedly visiting the White House multiple times over the last year. It was not clear whether the expert was consulting about President Biden's health or not. The briefing was the third straight briefing dominated by questions on the president's health following his debate with former President Donald Trump.

Don't know why you're being sarcastic. They literally are being transparent and saying that he checks in with his (real, unlike Trump's yes-man doctors) doctor a few times a week to see how he's doing. Trump would come out and lie that nothing is wrong, he's 100% - even when he had Covid-19 and did almost die, he lied about it the whole time. And, Trump's doctor said he weighed like 170 when he clearly weighed over 200 pounds.
Also, if Trump went and saw an unbiased doctor, they would be able to tell us exactly what type of dementia he has. He's had a very clear decline the last two years. It's probably Alzheimer's because his dad had it and it can be inherited.

Trump got a pass from the press when he wouldn't share his results. He wrote a note on what he wanted his dr to say outside Walter Reed hospital. Let's not forget that Trumps dr was fired from being a White House physician at Walter Reed.
To be honest, the press have grilled her heavily.
He told his press secretary to go out there and say that he was 100% great - even when he did almost die from Covid-19. And, remember his "yes-man" doctor that said he weighed like 170 when he clearly weighed over 220? He freaking lies about everything and tells others to lie or make things up or just say everything is great when it's not. I'll be glad when we no longer have to deal with his b.s.

you do have regular check ups if you are a certain age and if you do preventive medicine and if you have good health insurance. you do this to maintain good health if you are smart.

Since she keeps denying Parkinson's, should ask more specifically Lewy Body Dementia, which is a subtype of Parkinson's.
I have been calling it out for years that I thought he had Lewy body dementia. I work for a dementia clinic as a nurse, and I can tell you that Biden looks identical to some of the patients there..

@@roxannecomeaux6962 no, you can have lewy body anywhere from 5 to 20 yrs depending on how old you are when diagnosed. Biden‘s cognitive decline coupled with the parkinsonian type symptoms is a match for Lewy body. His shuffling gait and manner of speech are also matches.

That’s one of the reasons he performed badly at the debate. Plus, he was exhausted from two back-to-back trips too close to the debate. He’s a busy president! It generally prohibits healthcare providers and businesses, called covered entities, from disclosing protected information to anyone other than a patient and the patient's authorized representatives without their consent. Furthermore, it does not prohibit patients from voluntarily sharing their health information however they choose, nor does it require confidentiality where a patient discloses medical information to family members, friends, or other individuals not employees of a covered entity (Wikipedia, although not the most credible source). The point is that If the president want to elicit the trust of his voters, he can choose to disclose pertinent details from his medical trust, but at no point is the president required to provide his private information to the public, nor does the public have the right to demand that he discloses private details on his medical record.
These people aren’t just demanding medical information of the president. They’re asking for information that could potentially be about any of 1,000 military personnel. They’re idiots for not understanding HIPAA.

Agree. This is the first TIME I am hearing someone protecting a physician's identity. Physicians like their identity disclosed especially if they are HIGH profile like the President's Neurologist. So, it is VERY likely the President has Dementia or it's variant and hence the need to hide the diagnosis from the public. Hiding a physician's identity because he or she takes care of thousands of other military personnel is just NONSENSE.
