Fascinating all around. I bought 21 acres in upstate SC, and in July I started to hear a quail call. I was previously from MD and quail were very scarce. My German Shorthair Pointer is thrilled. P.S I have secretly loved English Setters too.
I very much enjoyed your video!! However, you didn't cover the "angry bobwhite" sound that I was hoping for. Had a pet quail as a child.. when he'd run past his reflection, he'd circle back and face himself.. toss back his wings and declare! It was hilarious! lol. Thx bunches!!
Okay so at night I hear something close to our house it sounds like a quivering bird sound kind of high pitched, I’m very interested in trying to figure out what it is. I live a town over from Texas a&m.
