Does the settinga stays on the mic once your remove the type c and replace it with just the XLR?
I am not sure about that, but I think the XLR and the USB have nothing to do with each other. So what ever you set while using USB, has no effect on the XLR. Hope that helps! :)
Will the Maono link still work even if I use XLR?
No. It's the same with the Shure MV7 and I guess all other XLR/USB mics. If you use XLR you lose the software features.
