Wait… 13:04 what’s wrong with Gatorade?? Basically all I drink is Gatorade and water bc just water isn’t enough to actually hydrate u. U need electrolytes too. I know the coloring isn’t great, but ur guys’ reactions seemed like it was more than just that.
Sugar boss. Sugary drinks generally contain an insane amount of refined sugars. Like more than a bunch of baked goods combined.
Pretty sure it’s high in sodium intake as well
@AbaNPreach yup Gatorades designed for people who are pushing themselves to replace lost stuff not for people with sedimentary life styles to drink every day. Honestly the gaming community has such a problem with energy drinks as well. As a gamer it just makes me sad how unhealthy gamers can be.
murica
Just eat a fruit for the electrolites
@AbaNPreach that's funny , I'm a body builder and I can tell you it's not the sugar that's the problem, one a Gatorade has more sulphates than sugar , sulhpates are cancer causing mining byproducts that react with water to create sulfuric acid in the body. The "preservatives" are the problem
Bro ate tht salad like it was actually damaging his health bar
This is becoming more and more common. I am pretty sure there is a term for it, I forget, but if as a child your parents let you avoid any food you want and you eat a very limited variety of food, it will fuck you up psychologically. It is actually like eating non-food objects if you dare to go outside of your typical palette. It is lowkey a very serious problem that I believe will become very highkey soon as parents are increasingly giving in to their children's limited palettes. Your diet is a hell of a drug.
looked like me trying to eat blue cheese XD my body was not having it and made it feel sick the second i tried to eat it.
😂😂

I have this neighbor who was dang near 300lbs. I started seeing him outside as early as 5:45am (when I leave for work) and he’ll continue to walk until like 9-10am. I kid you not. He just kept walking. Nothing more. He walked around our neighborhood and that man is like 150lbs now. He looks amazing!!! So much happier and outside with his family more often. It’s inspiring* to watch. And he’s like in his 50s.
People sleep on walking. If you eat 200 less calories a day and walk an hour or 2 per day, you WILL lose weight. I speak from experience
@@CultureCrossed64I think walking is especially good for people who are morbidly obese. It has less impact on their load bearing joints.
That's something I'm trying to focus on. My diet isn't the greatest in the world mostly due to financial issues (though nowhere near McDonalds every day level), but I always either walk 30 minutes or bike 20 to get to work, I occasionally walk 20 to get to the grocery store, and I just enjoy walking in general. Incorporating more of that into my lifestyle would do wonders for my health.
W story. ( ‘Inspiring’ not ‘aspiring’ )
@@CultureCrossed64walking is so good because it doesn’t increase appetite that much.
To Be 1000% clear, this isnt to shame Asmongold or to flame him. But its important to talk about because we spend time talking about obese people glorifying a dangerous lifestyle, these same choices can negatively impact skinny people and that needs to be discussed openly.

Asmongold won't even clean his room so I can imagine his health being in rapid decline. Hope he gets better and treats his health more seriously.
As someone who is a semi-regular viewer for a long time now, his normal reasoning is that he is doing fine, feels fine, and therefor isn't forced to do anything. Both his chat, friends, and subreddit have for years tried to help him but he just won't listen. So maybe a jump scare is just what he needs. He was comfortable telling telling people he would wipe blood from his gums on his walls. He was comfortable telling people he left puke in his bathtub for 5 months. He was comfortable telling people he hadn't showered in over a month. But high blood pressure is where he draws the line?
The man has been wearing his lifestyle like a badge of honour this whole time and thinking he's invincible. Admitting to high blood pressure and trying to be healthier is having to admit that he was wrong and some people just can't do that.

But he doesn’t. He understands that he has mental health issues and he is being openly honest about it. To shame him for it is classic bullying.
@@Boosted_ajnot really. None of that phrase is in relation to the actions of the child. It’s just that the parents didn’t properly equip the child before adulthood. Yup visceral fat is dangerous. Whether obese or skinny fat it's something to watch out for.
That's my husband. He's thin but eats like an obese man. It started to catch up to him and was told his triglycerides were high. I've changed the way I cook and we buy healthier foods now so that's helped a lot. But he still has a lot of poor eating habits. His brother always took decent care of himself and ended up with diabetes so I warn my husband to be careful but there's only so much I can do. People need to make changes for themselves, we can't change anyone.
Let me do you one better, I'm skinny and I've always been but I know I'm not healthy. Healthcare worker here. It CAN be too late to reverse your health. Don't get to that point. Thanks.
His blood pressure was in the 170's. If he had a lot more weight on him, he probably would have had a heart attack.
TRUE
Heart attacks are caused by a lack of blood flow to the organ. Being overweight doesn't necessarily affect that. The health of the blood vessels that supply your heart with blood affect it. You can be thin and have high cholesterol and have CAD. Same reason people with six packs and 8% body fat have heart attacks all the time. Some people just have weak hearts. Even viruses can weaken your heart and cause heart failure.
Being fat speeds up that process tho because its a harder issue to fix
@@carlo8108Lets not obfuscate here, weight plays a huge role in your heart health. Just like having a extremely bad diet plays a huge role also. So please let's not act like being obese puts you at the same risk of heart attacks and heart problems as people with six pack abs and 8% body fat.

I bought a treadmill last February and started walking 10 minutes per day raised up to 30 minutes going 2.0 mph now I'm at 4.2 mph for 30 minutes
I cut down on sugary soda but I still drink Pepsi zero or Mt Dew Zero and it's only with my meals and that's twice a day , drink water and Pedialyte instead of energy drinks and instead of sugary ice coffee I drink sugar free organic creamer with almond milk but I don't binge (only in the morning when I get up so my sugar elevates)
Also drink smoothies with spinach, bananas together or strawberries and broccoli without sugar and sugar free greek yogurt for my dinner meal
I am now 250lbs despite my bad arthritic knees , back and feet I still walk 30 minutes a day once or twice a day and i am never constipated despite I have diverticulitis from just drinking more water and adding more fiber to my diet
And my blood pressure is now 100 over 80 each hospital visit

Blood pressure measures how hard your blood is hitting the wall of your artery when the heart is pumping and resting.
The top number is when the heart is pumping and the bottom number is when the heart is resting. A normal or average blood pressure is around 120/80.
Normal ranges: 90/60 - 140/90
High blood pressure: over 140/90
Low blood pressure: below 90/60
Headache, anxiety, and shortness of breath are a few symptoms of high blood pressure.
Dizziness, rapid pulse, and cold sweat are a few symptoms of low blood pressure.
Your heart needs salt, magnesium, calcium and potassium to function properly. That’s why a person who has high blood pressure must be careful not to eat too much salt so they don’t mess up the delicate chemical balance of the heart.
People be donating $300 while watching him eat salad? This generation is something else. 😂
That’s a lot of money to be giving a stranger that doesn’t need charity
yeah....this society is something else.
Pretty sure he was going a charity stream there
It was a charity stream and eating salad or taking a shower were challenges he had to do
How exactly is it generational… spending money online or freely giving it away to those not in need.

Good on you for taking these steps! Look up Low Impact Toning Cardio on youtube. The chanel Fitness Blenders has some great videos. I lost 50 lbs with their workouts. GL to you!!
I’d suggest some resistance bands. Cheapest exercise equipment I ever got and I find them pretty effective. The ones that don’t have handles, I just store them under my couch cushion 😂
I started with planks and squats. Everyday. With the planks work your way up to 3 sets of 1 minute planks. Try to focus on good form/complete control on each movement rather than big weights.
Research all of the muscles in the human body and how it works. I remember when I first started I thought since I can do dumbbell curls with lots of weight I can also do that with lateral raises... never been humbled so quickly. Had my ass starting with 2.5lbs sweating BULLETS.
the easiest, cheapest way to eat healthy is to cook! you can decide amounts of salt, sugar & oil, it's not so much effort once you get the hang of it and get into a rhythm of cooking every 2 or 3 days and reheating what you cooked the other days.
Hey guys RN here! Not sure if BP readings are different in Canada but Preach is right the average BP is 120/80, if you’re geriatric 140/90 is ok. Chronic high blood pressure leads to a lot of comorbidities and death; they call it a silent killer because you don’t see symptoms until it’s too late.

As someone 31M who recently went through finding out I have a higher blood pressure(140/90 range) because of life choices, gaming eating badly. This video is bang on. I started going running, eating better and tracking everything. And found an immediate improvement in quality of life. Now everything is back to normal for me and it took about a month of hard work running and learning about diet. Now I just need to keep on top of my new lifestyle forevermore.
It’s hard but half of the journey is knowing how to get there. You will only learn by doing it. Couch to 5k, track the nutrition
You were at the precipice of having to start meds. You had the blood pressure of someone in their mid to late 40's.
Exercise & diet change can reverse it.
Keep it up, because 40s hit hard. I just read that at 45 your body takes a significant down turn.
Health scares really change you. I got diagnosed with testicular cancer last fall. Luckily I caught it really early, and I'm totally fine now. However, it made me totally rethink my approach to food, ingredient quality, sleep, stress, etc. It also made me more conscious of how short life is and the importance of living with purpose. I'm also more serious about personal and work relationships, since I want to be there for others and build stronger relationships
Dude, what symptoms did you have?

@@7thesage853 one day, I felt a sharp pain in my left testicle and had to stop walking for a few minutes. It went away, but a few days later, I injured it rock climbing at the gym (probably because it had started to swell). I had a dull pain for a while and then it swelled up and never went down after the injury. I got put on antibiotics to rule out an infection, but later got an ultrasound which confirmed it. My immune system was weakened and I got COVID at the same time (just my luck...). I just had a general sense of fatigue, dull ache, pain near my front waist near that V taper muscle, and significant swelling. Sometimes it's an external lump, but my case was an internal tumor that swelled the whole thing. The surgery was quick and easy to recover from, and my testosterone is fine with one ball. I did get a quick one month cycle of chemo and it wasn't bad at all.

I used to be really fit, gym going, clean eating. Then I had kids focused on an office job and that effort went out the window.
Exercise lacking, diet for shit, was vaping to replace the previous smoking habit.

He knew he was in pain and knew he was about to die that day, but in the moment, he was still trying to live as long as he could. I think, in most cases, people biologically just want to stay alive. The ones who survive suicide attempts like jumping off bridges will often say that once they actually let go, they realized they made a big mistake and actually wanted to live.
Most, if not all, life on earth has an innate will to live.

If you're used to being poor, than suddenly find yourself in a position where money is no longer an issue, it can be hard to break the mindset that you don't have to scrape by and go without. People get used to horrible things, and it takes time to readjust from that.
I gained 20kg during COVID era and couldn’t lose the stubborn weight. Once everything got somewhat back to normal, I lost 15kg. No gym membership, just walking to and from the store/campus/etc. I realised very quickly during the pandemic that walking was 90% of my exercise and it kept me at a healthy weight. I took those steps to and from hanging out with friends for granted
How do you gain 40-50lb in 2 months..? Alot of you people are so mentally weak..
That was my realization too lol! I used to walk 1hr a day everyday to/from highschool (30mins each way). @@Jxyyo4923Debatable? No, people who think water is itself wet, are just wrong. Put it this way, fire isn't itself on fire.
@@djinnxx7050 Wet is a contagious effect from water, because water is wet. Do stenches stink? 🤣
@@Jxyyo4923 Wet is an effect; a state of being, not a physical property of water.
If I throw a bowling ball through a window, the *_effect_* is a broken window.
Is the bowling ball itself broken and transferred it’s broken properties onto the glass upon contact? No.
“Broken” is the *_effect_* of the bowling ball making contact with the glass. “Broken” is a state of being for the window, not a property of the bowling ball itself.
Water is not transferring its “wetness” to a surface, the surface is referred to as wet because of the *_presence_* of water.
A more scientific way to look at it - you cannot saturate or cover water molecules with water molecules, you just make more water.
Hope this helps.
My roommate was the closest person to living like Asmon that I have met in real life, and he just passed away on 8/9/2024, probably from a heart attack, he was only 54.
I have been at the lowest point in my life over the last 10 months, being unemployed and depressed... but about 5-6 weeks ago I started walking every day to develop the habit, and 3-4 weeks ago I switched to exercising at home with weights and body weight exercises, and I've already started losing weight and building muscle.
My diet is improving, but options are limited with no income currently.
I don't know you and I am not sure how much this will help. But my condolences for your loss 🖤🎈. Being alone and still having to move on is very difficult. I wish you the best of luck and much strength 🫶
@@animationlover2944 Thank you
Hang in there champ. It’s rough out here for all of us
Was diagnosed with type 2 about 4 months ago and it’s bad that scare is what made me get my diet in order. Since then I’m down 60lbs and my mental clarity is high, my breathing is easier, and moving around is easier. I implore you, don’t let yourself get to that point. It’s throwing your life away for nothing.
Gentlemen. I will loan you this one. 😉. You said ‘what happened? 30 happened…’. I say , after 30, the warranty is UP! Whatever goes wrong will never recover 100%. Enjoy your youth!
Yep. Victim of spontaneous pneumothorax here. Both lungs collapsed, luckily not at the same time. Aba is exactly right, I grew up with a very fast metabolism so gaining weight was nearly impossible, so eventually my lung just crashed so randomly and I hit the floor gasping for air.
You do not realize how much of your day to day movements use your lungs until something like this happens. Everything felt like someone was taking a dagger and just twisting it in your chest every time you do anything.
Had 4 of those with 2 surgeries... fucked up
Very generally speaking ectomorphic body types are associated with higher risk of exactly that(spontaneous pneumothorax). Its unrelated to physical activity but may have some correlation with smoking as well(not saying you did it happens in nonsmokers too). Glad you're okay.
Had one side collapse from being a tall and skinny white boy, as the doctor put it.
They told me the pain is on par with birth.
I had one of my lungs collapse twice when I was 17. I have also have/had a very high metabolism. I ate as much as both my parents combined and I was, and still am at 45 yo, 58 kg (128 lb) and 1.85 m ( 6 foot one) tall. People who are skinny and relatively tall do seem to get spontaneous pneumothorax far more often than others.
My experience was very different, though. When my lung collapsed I immediately suspected it, because it happened to be mentioned in a random text we did in English class the year before. My parents refused to take me to a doctor for two weeks because they thought I was crazy, since I even attended PE class (although while in very intense pain). When we finally did an x-ray, the doctor's response was "Where's the right lung" lol
They ended up sewing my lung to the interior of my chest, so it can't happen again.
Scandinavian by chance?
4:01 Yo, Preach. Them laser shots sound effects. GOATED!

Dude was on fire this video 😂😂😂
Thank you for this! My dad had a massive stroke at 45, he's just turned 77 and it fucked up his life. He was a musician in the UK, never played an instrument since. With regards to the collapsed lung, my Son was diagnosed with bone cancer two years ago unfortunately it spread to him lungs and he's had multiple lung surgeries, he will be 13 this coming October
My son is 13, I’m gonna pray for you and your son and loved ones. That’s gotta be a tough experience. I pray that the Lord takes care of your son and you and everyone lives a long and prosperous life full of love and joy and gratitude.
Sending prayers, to your son.. I became bedridden/housebound, for a near decade, starting around the age of 26.. I couldn’t imagine dealing with such severe health issues, at such a young age.
Praying for all the best.
