  • A little project I built to move my collection from file cabinets to something that utilized more vertical space. Hold all 60 of my long boxes.

    Lol you had me fooled! Thought you had the shelving with the pull out drawers and wham, you dropped the front down and showed the boxes! Nice idea👍

    Can you tell me about those frames?
    How do they work?
    What do I have to do protect my autographs comic books?

    • @vb4life1

      I used www.bcwsupplies.com/snap-it-comic-book-holder-black. Since this is next to a window, I also coated the window with a UV film.

    That looks really cool. Very nicely done. Unfortunately it's right next to a window. The direct sunlight is going to fade the books you have on display. The light is harmful to your books.

    Did you seal the wood with anything?

    • @vb4life1
      @vb4life1  8 лет назад

      I was going to stain the wood, but ended up just leaving it raw wood.

    • @chrislatella4249
      @chrislatella4249 8 лет назад

      +vb4life1 I definately wouldn't use stain but there is an 'archival' finish like tongue oil or something that people use for museum displays you may look into in the future. it may even be some sort of shuhlack (or however that's spelt)
