This habit of a preamble before posing a Q must stop. Questions must be concise. These darling Qs such as, 'when you are appointed, will you prioritize such and such ', are just a waste of time.
Most questions were just advise what is expected from her if she get the job.

Am not a lawyer....however after following the interview for Judge Maya....am worried on how she answered most of the questions let's alone the fact that she was not asked questions but briefed on what the expectations would be....
Correct, no machenism or strategies on how matters should be resolved but her integrity stand out.

I see some commissioners pushing the line that the PRESIDENT MUST appoint judge Maya if not he will be a disappointment. Even the judge seems to concur with that very very much openly. I thought the function of the Commissioners is to interview then behind close doors they deliberate. Then they will send their preferred candidates in sequence. The president may go with their choice or not they don't have to be angry like their recommendations was a command. The president allowed institutions from the country to nominate the person they would like to be Chief Justice. Past presidencies gave JSC one candidate for interview then he appoint. Now out of the pool of many judges preferred by many institutions, the final list is four. This was not based gender but competency.

Why must Zondo quit the interview? Should a person be a leader because of gender? What about those who are neither male nor female? Please, stop attacking men like to be born male means after thought in all leadership positions and employment. These frustration is felt in government departments and schools. Beware of backlash from men because of this so called empowerment as if the one who is overlooked now is the same with the one that benefitted then. What if the female that is to benefit now is the daughter of the man that benefited vice versa?
