De Ruyter did not turn Black , he was there yo ron Eskom. The cabinets task was to stop the coruption in Eskom, it was o de Ruyters task and they did not support him in that.

South africa is busy decolonialising. Black people have nothing to be ashamed of. Things like rule of law, democracy, the infrastructure & electricity were all concepts brought into SA by foreign minds with foreign legacies. These ideals breaking down is a good thing.

She would only make a good president if her party controlled policy. Otherwise the EFF / ANC would not allow progress at all. They would seek to cause harm and destruction and would never allow the DA to govern successfully. The DA needs to play the leading role - it can’t just have Helen as President trying to run a coalition of criminals.
Helen Zille has integrity and ability but Sizwe expresses fear at the thought of her being President. Would he prefer Julius? Two thirds of the DA’s vote comes from non-whites. It does not represent the English speaking white middle class. It represents the interests of all South Africans.
UGogo is such a wise and educated man, this was a wonderful and truthful interview!
UGogo may be educated and pushes an agenda that to an uncritical thinking audience may come accross as being wise. In my opinion uGogo continuously blames and excuses the governments faliure to govern on whites. It is always everyone elses fault. Like a parent who refuses to acknowledge there child is disruptive or delinquent. Probably because to do so would require they acknowledge their own faluire to displine said child.
Worst is the propogation of the belief that most other people consider black Africans to be less than human. What a load of hogwash. I have three kids,....two of them just get with the job, they take lifes knock downs in their stride. The third throws tantrums and breakes his own toys when he does not get his own way or feels hard done by. As a parent all we can do is provide love, encouragment, and guidance. But at the end of the day this child will need to ralise that evry day they wake up it is there choice to either be angry or they can choose to be positive and make today better than yesterday for themself. There are over 7 Biĺlion people on earth and the vast majority couldnt give two hoots if you are black, white, yellow, whether u want to identity as a man, woman or mountain goat. Most just want to live a peaceful life and raise their children.
You will have the life you belive you deserve.

I really do not see the DA becoming a ruling party after 2024 Elections:
1. We tend to undermine the hold the ANC still have on our people, yes there is going to be a decline in the ANC votes, however, not to the extent that it will be pushed out of power completely.
2. The ANC might only need one or two parties to create a coalition govt, should things get that bad for it.
3. The ANC has already have parties to work with should that problem occur, the EFF is desparately dying for power, and its president has praised Mashatile as someone trustworthy and who can work with the EFF(this happened whilst Mashatile got the backing of almost all the provinces for his campaign for the Deputy position).
Nevermind the fact that the CIC has in the past condemned Mashatile as an untrustworthy person in the ANC.
4. The DA would need 6 or more parties to create a coalition govt. If we go by how it failed to respect its coalition partners in Joburg and Tshwane, we cannot expect that it will easily gets partners. The DA is haughty and thinks it has to control and dominate other partners. This then would not make it easy for it to have any backing as a govt.
5. DA’s racism has even pushed the Africans called Coloureds away from it even in the Western Cape.
I really wouldn’t bet on having DA running this country in 2024. Siyabonga Gogo🙏🏾🙌🏿

I am enjoying these discussions immensely and I am white. I learn so much about the political landscape and even whiteness as you call it. This is completely different views from what I know and I think a good analysis. WHAT IS THE SOLUTION FOR THIS COUNTRY THAT WILL WORK FOR BLACK AND WHITE??? Should we not at one point move forward and look at what is good for us as human beings, for our children black or white and do what is best for us as a nation economical. I feel at the moment we are giving to much space for outside people whether it is the original colonizers or Russia/China.

DD announced his resignation earlier, the President begged him to stay a while, trying to asses if Mashatile had a backing like his during Zuma’ s presidency. As soon as the President realized that Mashatile was the future, he that had to appoint him.

Gentlemen you are having very critically thought out discussions about a very problematic situation we find ourselves in. Your take inspires new thought in us young people, we aspire to a new way, away from this political dynamic that doesn't produce solutions but is obsessed with sabotaging the other party. In my personal opinion we need to remove this outdated way of politics all together and pull everyone in to create a new way that translates into a better life for all.
Gogo Aubrey is a visionary, a clear mind, a teacher and is very articulate...His ability to break complex political situations down is amazing. He has the ability to tap into spaces our thoughts have yet to reach, shock us...frighten us...yet still comfort us by his ability to eloquently and skilfully break them down in concepts we understand, and suddenly a SA with Zille as president is not so wild, not so scary, because we would still find ourselves in the same wanting situation we are in. Ay! 1994----2024, seems like the 4s are a problem.
