There's been minor issues with occasional weak strikes with my Taurus GX4 Carry, Taurus could use a heavier striker spring? Personally don't like that I need a tool, screwdriver or empty shell to take it down and clean. Taurus GX4 Carry is made in America not Brazil and it uses Mec-Gar magazines, not Brazilian garbage magazines. They are also spending more time on quality control. Been a Taurus owner since 1985, the Taurus GX4 Carry is one of two Taurus pistols I like the other is the Taurus 92.
I feel you on that I haven’t had the problems you have experienced but I AGREE on the take down I’m not feeling it keep the simple Glock breakdown like the G2c and G3 lines I also like the Taurus 92 Ima add one for sure to the collection 🇺🇸🧠👍🏽

Since Taurus has gotten their new management they've been making better and better guns. I got the G3 and plan on getting the GX4 Carry soon. 👍
