- Dharma is a multifaceted term, it has many faces to it. In the ultimate sense of the term, it refers to what is known as Cosmic Law. I'm going to explain the different meanings of dharma as well as it's deeper, esoteric meaning.

Sarah I consider myself an old soul and spiritual seeker and I have to say that this is one of the best videos that I have seen explaining the essence of Dharma vs Karma. You have a gift as a teacher. You take a complex question and give a lucid, insightful, and simplified answer. Thank you!

I have heard dharma described as "purpose." Your explanation of dharma as the "nature" of being fits beautifully with the concept of purpose. Being true to our nature is our purpose. Or, our purpose is to be true to our nature. Thank you for your insights.
Dharma is not purpose at all. Purpose is a dualistic term: I need to be this, but not that. Dharma, or god-consciousness has no rules or layout. There is no good or evil, light or dark. You are completely free as a “flame” of god to move, light or burn as you see fit.

@@macfamilyoflove you will only know as you learn to discern more and more. Even a year ago, when I commented this I did not understand the fullness of it. Do not think of dharma or consciousness as “nothing” though. It is very much understanding everything. Wisdom and understanding will set you free and only you will know as you progress. It’s not something you can explain.
There's one caveat - merging with "infinite consciousness" isn't being sovereign. It's merely calibrating to a different set of "higher" influences. Some people don't see that free will is applying discernment to even THOSE energies. Where in the spiritual communitty have we been taught to question what comes from "higher" frequencies? We haven't. It's always assumed it's right and perfect. But like you said, true sovereignity and conscience requires awareness of CONTEXT. And very few beings on the planet openly admit that "infinite consciousness" may have an inability to always empathize with the human context.

Thanks Lioness and Dead Clover. Tbh I'm suprised I got so many likes. I'm getting these little feedbacks lately. I'm glad the things I question in spirituality for a while seem to be concerns for others as well. Makes me feel I'm not as off-kilter as sometimes I may sound in contrast with what are common practices/ideas.
If the "flow" and "surrender" and keeping a high vibration was all that was needed to create a domino effect in the world, we'd all be enlightened by now. Empaths wouldn't be used and abused for their love ...no one would resist the light etc etc
Discernment needs to be applied to everything. And we must always gauge the progress of humanity, and how teachings and ideas are affecting everyone. The proof is in the pudding.

@@jeanlundi2141 How can Infinite Consciousness always empathize with the human context? It's hanging out in bliss all the time and never suffers. So it can't really truly understand/empathize with our suffering. It just can't relate! I suspect only individuated expressions of God can truly empathize and relate to suffering. Maybe because they've experienced it before at some point without any peace or bliss or spaciousness to buffer the suffering. So they know what it's like to truly suffer! (of course I could be wrong but that's the impression I get about God)
I'm 69 next week and on my three years path of wellness, paleo low carb and activity. Before I was a engineer, over thinking everything. That ended up in suicidal thoughts and homelessness.
The VA saved me, stable housing, an enormous unpayable debt.
Karma has been MY lens to repay that debt, see a need, help if I can...
Then your version of Dharma explains the feeling when I help others. It's soo nice, it's me. 🙏 for the insight. 🙏

I realise now, when I was a child and I was put through Sunday school, made to go to church, even as a child, I could not connect or relate to the information that was being convaied to me.
I couldn't just except it at face value, not that I was disagreeing with it, I just personally wasn't ready to except what I was being told as fact.

I would say that one's natal chart reflects one's dharma, as well as one's karma. that being said, this doesn't mean that the information one's natal chart reveals is to be taken absolutely literally as a "command", rather it is to be understood within the context of the soul reflecting upon itself through the language of astrology.

Dharma is to let it happen the way it is meant to happen.
Let life happen and life looks after you.
Karma is to do something with intent. If something happens in repitative destruction, do something to change it to bring it back to balance, to Dharma. Justice. The way it should be.
For those that need help in figuring out their dharma and/or conchessnes I encourage you to take a personality quiz. Before you start focus internally and answer the questions honestly, this will determine your nature. Than take the quiz again and answer the questions according to how you'd like to present yourself to others, this is your demeanor or karma.
On another fun note take the quiz and answer them on your past, present and than future self. This is introspective and your results will tell you your strengths and weaknesses but also who/why your compatible with. The zodiacs I believe are the cosmic law that we're the first introduction to introspection.

Zodiac: Gemini
Finding how all 3 of these coexist tells me a lot about my body, mind and spirit function. Know they self and you'll know all the cosmos in relation.
