"Heavens to Betsy"! Just give Kathleen a pile of scraps, junk papers, old checks, receipts, sand paper, glue and she can create magic!!! Your art work is beautiful. Lucky person who now owns your " fraternal twin journals". I hope you sign each piece of your art work. One day, in the distant future, people will be searching for and collecting your works of art.
Thank you, Kathleen! Two gorgeous journals for us to admire and appreciate the creativity in both! 🥰 Your inclusions nearly always show us a “new” Kathleen idea or, at least for me, ideas that I have not seen elsewhere or from you if my memory is reliable. Awesome! You bring everything journaling together with such style! Apologies for my late viewing of this video! We had been travelling home from overseas when you posted this video, so I’m home now and doing catchup of my favourite RUclipsrs. 🥰 Love and big hugs! 😀💞
Thank you so much Keryn! I always appreciate your thoughtful comments. I’m so glad you could travel - how fun! I hope it was a wonderful trip and that you are now settling back into home routines. Thanks for taking time to come by! 😊
I have been watching this video over and over Kathleen. There are so many little hidden gems, love the z flip page and dust broom scraps. Hope you are having a nice weekend and I bet the recipient cannot believe that these are both hers!!!!! The colors are peaceful and my favorite blends of green and blue.
Not one but two little beauties. Gosh Kathleen, you have creativity in spades and it’s always such fun to see any new little detail we haven’t seen before. It was great to have a little sneak peak at your vintage series covers.
@BeAgainBooks you are so very welcome. I love watching your videos. I'm going to try your button closure on my newest journal. I will be sure link your channel when I do.

@@gemmalclarke yes, I have start to write these ideas and which video they are in….theres just so many ideas and so little time! 😂 one day when I retire……
@@leeannsutherland858 to deal with the overwhelm I just try 2-3 new ideas per journal as I feel this is a life long journey for me and I love variety and trying new things. Therefore I don’t try to do all the new ideas at once and I feel that way it’s more achievable and I get to appreciate what I have done for what it is 😍
A two-fer. What fun for Saturday morning! I love both of these journals. So many good ideas you've shared in these. I bet if the recipient is giving one and keeping one, she is going to have a hard time deciding which one to let go of. I loved the folded map page for the over the page flip and then the hand drawn map was such a fun addition. Thanks for the inspiration as always, Kathleen.
Both journals are very pretty. You are so good at finding book illustrations, postcards, and other items that are just the right color to go with the papers you've chosen. Everything looks beautiful together.
Two beautiful journals! May I request that you make a video..or two on journal cards? While I know you’ve shown some in the past, this video, as well as the past few have has so many wonderful cards in them that there are too many to digest during a flip through. I would love to see a journal card video when you have the chance. Thanks so very much. 😃❤️
@@elainet5870 Thank you Elaine, I will try to get that on my list - keep reminding me, if it doesn't show up soon. In the meantime, I hope you will follow the link in the description box to the video on the "dustpan challenge" that shows how I made many of the cards in this particular video. Maybe you saw it already. I also have a playlist called Ephemera for Stuffing Pockets and Tucks with a couple of really great videos that might be helpful. It's my biggest challenge - to fill all of those creative pockets right? Thanks so much for the feedback Elaine and for your steady support here. 🙂
Beautiful journals Kathleen! You have such a way with ephemera…always finding unique ways for it to make sense. I believe in having room to write. Your clean journals are perfect!
Two more beautiful journals, Kathleen, love them both 🤩. I was excited to see a bit of Europe in the 2nd journal. I worked in an office at the end of London Bridge in 1969/70 and watched them build the current London Bridge. And the Strasbourg postcard looked like the Notre Dame Cathedral. Strasbourg is just in France near the German / Swiss border. Looking forward to your vintage style too 🤩.
